Loved our Sea Star "room" which was actually a full size small apartment complete with kitchen, dining area and living room. Great location with easy parking in the lot behind the house. Everything impeccably clean and well-maintained. Ideal for a trip to Dunedin--you'd never have to move your car.

Property's Favorite Review
After having stayed at nearly every resort throughout Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Clearwater, it seems that we have stumbled onto quite the gem!  The Meranova Inn absolutely fulfills every whim, want and desire if youre looking for privacy right on the edge of the most unique watery destination that's filled with great restaurants and spicey little pubs. This is the kind of place where you can pack a 7-day stay-cation into a weekend. The owners have thought of everything before you ever want it - complimentary champagne paired with select chocolates, beds that devour you, porches that peak at the nightlife, peace, quiet, and solitude. Need more? There's more. Alot. More.

Large room with kitchen area, sitting area and king comfy bed. Great private porch too. Grounds are lovely. Right in down town, near shops, dining & waterfront. A great place to stay. Enjoy the sunset from the pier. Dinner at Bon Appetite with great views.

Meranova Guest Inn is a MUST stay if you are visiting the Dunedin/Clearwater area! My husband and I stayed here in August 2023 in the Key West room for our first wedding anniversary. I found Meranova on a tourism site that recommended this place for a BnB stay. The location is perfect - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We fell in love with the charm of the downtown and how friendly everyone was. The Key West room was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed. We stayed during the low season so it felt like at times we were the only guests on property. We had a pool view (loved the pool) and a private patio. The large kitchen was a plus as we had some meals there. We did lose power in the middle of one of the nights for a couple hours so it was a little toasty but just a tiny speed bump on a overall good trip. We will 100% stay here again when considering another trip to Dunedin!

Excellent bedding. Excellent location. Quiet premises. Well stocked kitchen with the exception of regular coffee maker. Definitely would stay there again. Rent bikes on day 1 and head to Publix for groceries. Make plans to dine at Cafe El Fresco (get the gumbo) and Stirling. Best choices by far. There are two breakfast cafes less than a minute away. Enjoy the market on Friday and Saturday mornings. The Pinellas Trail is perfect for riding to Honeymoon and Clearwater beaches. You won’t need a car at all.

Oh my gosh, they aren’t kidding! This is truly a hidden gem in Dunedin! I searched on Expedia a couple days before my trip to Clearwater and this came up in my search. I was intrigued and after reading about it and seeing the pics (and the prices, omg!), I took the chance and booked a room! HINT: Book directly on their website for better pricing, Expedia was at least $20 more than their direct booking rate! I booked in the Regency room because I wanted to avoid any potential noise from a room overlooking the pool. Little did I know that the property is so chill and quiet that any place was safe! Perhaps it was because I booked the weekend before thanksgiving or maybe this is the vibe all the time…but it seemed that there was no bad location. The room was amazing!!! So unique and totally equipped for whatever your plans are! The kitchenette was stocked with coffee and a TON of pods for the adorable Keurig, chilled creamer cups, all sweetener, a variety of tea, honey straws, a tea pot and even a filtered pitcher for water!! The bathroom was equipped with delightful toiletries, makeup remover wipes, makeup removal cloth, and plush towels! The little kitchenette table is so cute! The tiny Prosecco bottle and chocolates was an amazing touch! The bedroom is so welcoming! I absolutely loved the decor! The bedding was cute AND comfortable! There was a comfy sitting chair for reading or watching tv or whatever! There were two comfy robes, an iron, ironing board and hairdryer if needed! The TV was massive although I didn’t use it but I think it’s equipped with all the streaming services. The fan is so unique too! Out front of the room was two Adirondack chairs, overlooking the cute little pool! Seriously, best kept secret in the area! I am super excited to come back and try out different rooms! Oh and their customer service is so top notch! They texted me before my arrival with details of how to get there, where to park and what to expect. Then they texted me directions to my room and special instructions on how to find the place since there was a craft fair in town! Super sweet! It was like staying at a friends house!

My wife and I had a no kids long weekend. Meranova suited our needs. We felt like it was our own private getaway. We stayed in the garden cottage which is separate. It was quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to everything. We would recommend and would return.

A lovely little oasis tucked into charming downtown Dunedin! It was too hot and humid to take advantage of the gorgeous and lush garden areas, but our garden suite was a cool retreat with a comfy bed, kitchenette, and robes tucked into the antique armoire. The bistro table held a welcome basket of goodies and a bottle of Prosecco - a delightful surprise! We loved wandering downtown Dunedin (don't miss the historical museum located in the old train depot or breakfast next door at the Wild Iris or around the corner at the Sandpiper!) and the beaches of Honeymoon Island were just a 10 minute drive.

We had a wonderful stay, The Regency room with all the thought that went into the details were great, coffee for the Keurig, extra towels for the pool to the water filter jug in the frig were all greatly appreciated. And the pool and grounds were beautiful. Location, location, location

Muranova Guest Inn is in a great location. Easy walking distance to downtown. Parking was no problem. They have a parking area in the back and also two spaces in front. Check in is contactless, all done by text. We were able to enter our room early. JJ, the owner was easy to get hold of and answered any questions that we had. We stayed in the Garden Suite. The room itself was very clean. It had a small table with two metal chairs. There was a small refrigerator and microwave. The kitchen area was well equipped. There was also a welcome basket with snacks, wine and orange drink. We also enjoyed the balcony. The room faces the front of the building onto the main road. The only drawback was the mattress. It was a foam mattress and way too soft for two people that like a firm mattress. We did ask JJ about it and he said they have other rooms with firmer mattresses and to contact them before making a reservation to find out which rooms would have been better for us. We enjoyed our stay at Meranova and found it to be very welcoming.
