We stayed two nights before a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale at the end of January. The hotel is perfectly situated with the beach across the street. We really liked that there was very little traffic as it is a single lane one way street, so it has a much quieter feel. The hotel was great for a two day stay, we tried to upgrade to an oceanview room at check in but they had no oceanview rooms left. Our room was fine and the bed was comfortable. The bathrooms are dated but worked fine and they had Beekman soaps and lotion. They had an ice dispenser in a room across from the elevators which came in handy. We booked with Travelzoo and received welcome drinks. We were given rubber bracelets which allowed you to get towels for the beach by the front desk. At the beach our bands allowed us to get two chairs and an umbrella. The beach is very large with nice sand and the ocean was calm. Their pool area is also very nice. We sat and had some drinks there one night. We had been to Deerfield beach quite a few years ago before they built the new boardwalk we took advantage of this both at night and in the morning. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had dinner at JB's on the beach and you get a great view of the beach from the dinner table. It had a very relaxed beach vibe. We went to Amante's for pizza for lunch they have great pizzas and the portions are very large. We found The Gathering Grounds Coffee Company, they have great pastries and coffee. It is a short walk away, 2 minutes from the hotel. We had great weather during our stay and very much enjoyed staying in this area. We will definitely be back.

I'll start by saying I am a hotel snob and this hotel checked all the boxes. Super clean rooms (housekeeping came EVERY day to clean the room - I find that most hotels skip that post-Covid). Room was modern and updated - you can link your iPhone/iPad to the TV to watch all your shows/movies. It was a great surprise. Hotel is right on the beach. The location is perfect - walking distance to several great restaurants. It was awesome to easily go back to our room for snacks/rest breaks..etc while spending the day at the beach. Beach chairs/umbrellas are covered in the resort fee which was fabulous. One afternoon, the beach chair attendant walked around handing out fresh fruit sticks!! The hotel bar/restaurant was great too. Good food. All the staff was super helpful and nice. I can't wait to come back.

Amazing location, great staff and Wow, what a spot to be in for the fourth of July. The city puts the show right off the pier, directly in front of this location. The general manager during our stay was a dream and very accomidating, bartenders and cleaning crew were a delight

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 3 with my wife and 12 year old son in 2 Queen Oceanfront room # 811 for 5 nights. I was not impressed at all.
Front Desk Not friendly and do not follow common etiquettes:
So we checked in at 5:30 pm Sat March 8 and the front desk staff experience was very meh. After room key were given I asked for amenities and services as it was our first time. I was a given a very brief cursory overview. Also welcome drinks were not given so when I asked for it the front desk guy replied in a reluctant tone “ All I have is Champagne “ and he served it. Why do we have to ask for it and the welcome drinks not served without us asking for it. So very poor first impression for sure.
The other downer was when we checked out the black lady with grey jacket never bothered to ask “ How was your stay” as I feel that this was a standard question upon checkout but this lady cannot be bothered. So front desk staff can use some etiquette and friendliness training for sure and they were two thumbs down for me 👎🏻👎🏻..
Restaurant/ Breakfast:
We had our breakfast all 5 days from Sunday March 9th through March 13.
The breakfast was very average to below average and was very hit / miss . So once the waffle was very stringy and oatmeal cold or Hot water for tea was lukewarm. The pricing was expensive for what your getting. For a skinny white toast $6. The berries with waffles/ pancakes was a separate up charge so a typical breakfast for family if 3 including beverage was $80 including tips which is on the high side considering the very average quality of the food.
Rooms/ Housekeeping:
The oceanfront rooms are worth the upcharge for the view. But remember the balconies are Small Juliet balcony with barely enough room to stand and watch sunrise. There are plenty of condos and other options around which are beachfront that has full sized balconies with chairs.
The Valet Parking charge is $29/day while self parking is $23/ day .
Resort fees only cover the 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. We did find out if you go after 9 am you don’t get the row. So if that matters to you get there early.
Housekeeping was also not great as they missed extra towels and didn’t clean used glasses.
So overall based on all above this is average at best beachfront property with many flaws from Personnel restaurant experience room size and choices and all the service available.

Never been to the Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort…or Deerfield Beach for that matter…until Hurricane Ian decided to pay a visit to the southwest coast Florida coast in late September. We live in Tampa and the only place in Florida that did not have storm watches or warnings posted was a tiny sliver of coastline in Broward & Dade Counties. Normally we’re not ones to run, this storm had the looks of a monster and fortunately we found the top rated Wyndham Deerfield Beach Resort on Trip Advisor and booked a corner suite. What should have been a four hour drive over to the east coast took us nearly seven hours in the driving wind & rain. We arrived around 10 p.m. two days prior the storm’s arrival and the staff who met us were beyond gracious and helpful. Our SUV was packed for Armageddon and the valet, bell team and front desk personnel got right to work and quickly had unloaded and into our room along with a complimentary glass of champagne. Regarding our room, the corner suite was immaculate with floor to ceiling glass that offered magazine quality views of the very angry Atlantic Ocean. The on premise Patio Bar & Grill offered a healthy menu and was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It seemed that the bar was also a spot frequented by locals…always a sign of good value & service. There were also many outstanding waterfront bars and restaurants in walking distance of the hotel plus the Pier located almost directly in front of the resort. Everyone we met here went out of their way to make us “evacuees” feel welcome from the Executive Chef to front desk manager, Lily, to our favorite waitress and Jamacian music aficionado, Debbie. We can’t say enough good things about this place except see you all again for Spring Break 2023!

The Wyndham was a great location for family members to stay to attend a wedding. They provided a very good group rate and the staff was helpful. We had a city view room with 2 queen beds and a table and chairs. The air conditioning was excellent in the room, and the frig kept food and drinks cool. We enjoyed the restaurants on the premises - Burger Craze, the Patio Bar and Grill, and Gelateria. This hotel is right across from Deerfield Beach and pier and walkable to several restaurants and shops. The beach chairs and lounges and beach umbrella were included in our room rate. There is an additional charge for self parking and a service fee in addition to the room rate. We are so happy that we stayed at the Wyndham Deerfield Beach resort to enjoy this beautiful area.

Clean facility, pleasant staff, enjoyable experience. Shane at the front desk was fantastic & informative. Answered all of my questions. The only thing I would change is a request to add water to the lobby that does not have citrus in it. Having a citrus allergy, I had to bring water from my room or buy it in the Gelateria.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. As a person with limited mobility and a wheelchair user I appreciated several things: complimentary valet with placard, the bed is open underneath and I believe would accommodate a lift, there were good rails in the bathroom for the toilet and bath, the bath had an adjustable sprayer, the controls for the tub were within reach including a knob for the drain, the towels and racks were at an accessible level, the sink was open and controls were within reach, there was good clearance between the bed and closet, the closet was small but had standard accessible features.
I had a comfortable night’s sleep. I would appreciate a couple of the pillows at least to be firmer. The feather-like pillows deflate during the night and end up providing no neck support. I hope to return soon for a longer stay.

We didn’t love this hotel. Felt rushed when asking questions, bathroom didn’t feel super clean, would have loved heads up about the big festival making the beach super crowded, coffee bar in lobby ran out of coffee at 9am on a Saturday. Also, we asked for help with using our own Netflix account (since even old movies were TEN DOLLARS to watch) and tv was indicating we just needed to use code to log in but we couldn’t get tv to sync- the front desk sent maintenance who was not remotely helpful and just said “if it works it works, if it doesn’t it doesn’t” and left. We also had people each night screaming in the hallways between 12-2am. Overall we just won’t be back to this one.

Wyndham was our choice for Deerfield lodging..... until this trip. We booked the room for December 6th thru the 12th. (Had all documents and emails verifying accuracy) Upon arrival we found a rude staff who at times tettered the point of intimidation and harassment. They CLAIMED we had a reservation starting on the 5th. During our 8 hour trip toward florida we were charged a no show fee off approx 270. Upon arrival after traveling all day, the dissapointmwnt started . They essentially told us to get a different room or they could accomidate us ,, but the cost was about 500 extra out of pocket. We ended up staying because @10:00 pm finding accomidation would be difficult. They eventually agreed to refund our no charge fee. Even after acknowledging fault they refused to honor our original price thought. I suggest looking elsewhere....
