Pros:
Close to FLL airport.
Free shuttle to FLL- comes every hour from 4AM till 1AM. Can request a shuttle to Miami airport but there is a charge associated with this.
Good pool.
Soft beds.
Free breakfast- very basic but at least it is available.

Cons:
Housekeeping will knock on door to ask when guest are leaving. Housekeeping needs to coordinate with front desk for this information instead of disturbing guest.
Front desk staff does not have access to pool towels if housekeeping is not there as well. Had to use room towels for pool.

We chose this property before reading the reviews because it was a major brand for $150 in a city of $300/night for midrange hotels. We booked a non-cancellable rate since we were traveling soon. Then we read the reviews...

But we were pleasantly surprised to find a typical midrange chain property. The only issues we had, a burnt out bedside light and a missing washcloth, were both promptly and cheerfully resolved by housekeeping.

We'd for sure come back.

An aside - if you arrive late, forget uber and lyft. They are hard to find and charge the same rate as the taxi meter rate, taxis being easy to find.

Room was recently renovated and looked great. The ongoing construction for the lower level renovations did not bother us at all.

Shower was very weak and the water barely got hot (warm-ish at best). I talked to the front desk about it and they were aware of the problem, but it was never fixed.

We were there during Hurricane Milton, which did not affect the area at all. Because of the “severe weather” that was happening miles away (we didn’t even get rain during the hurricane) , the hotel paused housekeeping services for the “safety of their staff”. One thing has nothing to do with the other! We asked for an exception and they said the staff would enter the room and take out the trash. That’s it. The housekeeping staff was there but did not do the work.

Standard breakfast, I missed having pastries.

Hello juuliasimoes, Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the renovated room and that the construction didn’t bother you. I apologize for the issues with the shower and the housekeeping services during your stay. I understand how frustrating that can be, especially when the weather conditions were not severe. Your comments about the breakfast options are also noted; we’ll consider adding more variety in the future. We appreciate your input and hope to provide you with a better experience next time! Best Regards,

This hotel is only good for a 1 night stay and if you’re in an unexpected situation ie; missed or cancelled flight and cruise arrival or departure.
The hotel is mediocre at best and even if you’re platinum elite and do pre-check in and keyless, you’ll still wait for your room and a key!
I would suggest going elsewhere for breakfast as it’s sub par and too many people are handling the food. One elevator was out of service and there was no ice machine working on our floor.

I would have expected better but understand that a lot of people come and go in this area. I won’t be picking this hotel again for 1 night stay pre-cruise.

This review will be short. But I feel like it's helpful to know as an avid traveler to share small points of positive even if we only stayed one night and didn't get to experience all the amenities.

Here is the skinny on our stay. One night flew in to Fort Lauderdale to catch an early flight out the next morning to Puerto Rico. The main reason for choosing this hotel were two very important factors. The price for the night was reasonable. It wasn't cheap but it wasn't expensive and let's be real you don't want cheap in the event of things not clean, shuttle issues, room issues, the list could go on and on when you go cheap.... and you don't need expensive for a place to crash for less than 24 hours but we all want clean and safe. That's what we got here. The next best amenity is they have a 24 hour shuttle to and from Fort Lauderdale airport to the hotel. Hello that in it's self saves $50.00 bucks in Uber rides, approximately depending on day and time. We waited less than 2 minutes for the shuttle. Pretty awesome.

The hotel was clean, the front desk associate courteous, the shuttle and driver exceptional, we got a good nights sleep and headed on to the rest of our vacation.

Called 4 times for airport pick up one of the reasons for picking this hotel. 1 time went to voice mail full 2nd time put on hold, 3rd time no answer, 4th time no answer next call to uber for pick-up of 6 people $34. This hotel has no vending machines and no soft drinks in snack sale area and few snacks. Day 2 got stuck on elevator that needs service we were told wasn't the first time. We had 3 rooms at over $400 each not a value and lack of the things you would expect from this hotel.

When I first checked out the reviews and saw a few negative ones I was hesitant to book, but there were soooo many good reviews. Here is the straight scoop and do not believe any of those 1 and 2 star reviews. From the start when we called for the shuttle from the airport it was there in about 10 minutes. It made a few stops at other terminals before we got to the hotel. The driver was very pleasant and helpful. We had late checkin due to the time of our flight and the gentleman at the front desk had everything ready to go and was very nice and up to our room we went. Elevators were big for all our luggage for 2 people. Anybody who writes a review that says this property is dirty and dated must be blind as a bat!!! The hotel was very clean in the common areas and I did not see anything that needed updating. Our room was a suite as we have stayed at other Fairfield Inns. The AC was very cold annd anble to be adjusted as necessary and the room was excellent and not dated. Only thing for me was the bed was a bit soft but I have a sleep number bed at home that is like a board so I am a bit spoiled. The breakfast is from 6;30 to 9;30 and was the standard hotel fair and was excellent!!! Coffee was hot and lots of it… 4 types of juices… area was very clean and the two staff ladies were very pleasant and welcoming. $20.00 per person shuttle to the cruise port if needed with reservation. So in conclusion, do not believe any of those bad reviews…. Things are not always perfect when you travel, but this will be my go to hotel for when I am cruising out of Fort Lauderdale. 5 stars from me!!!!

Reasonable Price , close to Airport and cruise port
Chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and included complimentary airport shuttle and was close to port Everglades. This was a one night pre cruise stay. Overall good stay just some minor issues. Room are clean but A/C unit was very loud and you couldn’t turn off fan (I tried turning the system off to no avail). They were supposed to have a market well they did but a lot was sold out and the vending machines were sold out as well. Hairdryer was falling off the wall I guess nobody has told them about it but I will on checkout. Had to jiggle the handle to get the toilet to flush properly. As I said minor issues that no one may have reported. I would give this property another shot in the future

The room was a nice size, clean however they advertise for breakfast which they only provide a box to go with frozen bagel, cream cheese, juice box and coffee. The other more concerning thing is that they only clean the room every 7 days. This was not advertised anywhere and only when we asked the following day we were told that is the arrangements. Towels have to be requested and we had to wait until 10pm to shower as they were being washed when we called around 8pm. I would advertise that information as it is relevant and would not have stayed there although we were there for just 3 days. That was more than enough!!!

Not a great vibe - noisy, under construction, water pressure is 0psi, small kids running freely and being noisy - don’t waste your money and time. Upgrade to a better, real hotel. The morning free breakfast is chaos. Shuttle service to ship is a joke and the scam the front desk runs to get you eat a certain seafood restaurant is a joke and the seafood restaurant is no good. That’s my scope on the scene in person November 2024

The complimentary shuttle is from the airport. The hotel does not hav a complimentary shuttle to the cruise port. There is a shuttle service on site but we found Uber to be less expensive for two people to the port.
