The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away from the town center, which provides easy parking and a beautifully decorated large garden, where you can enjoy a delicious and traditional Turkish/Aegean breakfast under the olive trees. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean but a little old, which actually gives an authentic feel of the island life. Ours had a beautiful small balcony with a garden and sea view. It was a little too bright in the mornings for my taste, making it harder to sleep longer into the day. The dogs and other animals in the area might wake you up early in the morning, too. The shower needs to run for some time in order to get warm. The rooms do not get cleaned every day if not requested explicitly. The beds are comfortable and clean. The host, Mr. Ali, is a very friendly and helpful local. He can give lots of tips for your vacation in Cunda. He also provides discounts in some local restaurants and a beach nearby. I recommend Sef Mehmet'in Balik Evi as a traditional fish restaurant. Make sure you ask for tips and recommendations. He also served breakfast to our table instead of a buffet since it was the off-season. The only minor issue is that the walking road from the town center to the hotel is a dirt road and dark at night, which can be hard to find for the inexperienced. Furthermore there might be some dogs on the way, which usually do not harm anybody, but might be unpleasant for some people. Except the minor issues regarding the road and the room, it is a beautiful hotel that I would recommend to everybody who is looking for a relaxed and authentic vacation in Cunda.

We were skeptical about our stay here after reading the reviews, we decided to take our chances and it turned out to be great. The staff are all lovely and friendly, they know about the area and the surroundings, we managed to get in to beaches for free and dined at the finest restaurants thanks to them. The reviews stated that the rooms were dirty which definitely wasn't the case for us the rooms were clean and wellkept the building does need some maintenance but looking at the area as a whole this is one of the wellkept hotels. We have a little Pomeranian who travels everywhere with us, the ability to be able to lodge here with our dog was the icing on the cake, the staff fed our dog and gave him water when we were outside which I thought was a nice gesture. There were fresh pastries and cakes everyday and the kitchen staff were soo soo lovely words can't even explain. Overall I couldn't recommend this place enough!! Hersey icin cok tesekkurler, tum personele selamlar. Ben ve Kahve yaptiginiz borekleri ozluyoruz :))

It's a wow for the beautiful English home living room the owner has decorated as a lobby or sitting area. We mostly enjoy the outdoor garden when taking our breakfast. The breakfast they served is healthy with fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, eggs and home baked Turkish pastry and donut. The room has a nice balcony with sea view. The bed is comfortable. Their staff, Mr. Fatih, is very friendly, sincere and works from his heart! I love friendly Turkish people! We had very relax, enjoyable stay for 3 days in this lovely, mediteranean hotel! I hope the local government can make a better road joining the hotel for improving tourism.

Cunda Battalos Kucuk Hotel is a rare bird, a hotel to return to again and again, and that's unusual for me who likes variety, but given its favorable location, blossoming grounds, and thoughtfully decorated interior, I hope to spend more time there in the future. The staff treated us like we were family and the Turkish village-style breakfast was fresh, plentiful and of course delicious. The hotel is located on the edge of Cunda's main town, so you have the best of both worlds. Peace and quiet, and a very short walk (literally 5 mins) into Cunda if you fancy something a bit more lively. On the evenings we didn't go into Cunda for a meal and a drink, we ate in the hotel itself and dinner, like breakfast, was full of flavour not to mention inexpensive. The garden is an inspiration and it's clear they've spent a lot of hard work to design it and spend a lot of time to ensure it remains a delight for guests. During the evening, as the sun sets, the aromas lifting from the flowers is gorgeous. We had lovely room on the first floor, and is rustic in its arrangement, for example, Greek-style pots (stamnoi or chytrai?) are embedded into the wall and onto which a pane of glass is laid to make a bedside table; from the balcony we could see the Aegean and to the left the Koç renovated Taxiarches Chruch (now a museum) and the renovated Agios Yannis Church (now The Sevim - Necdet Kent Library). I plan to return in September.
