Haa is a 2 hour scenic mountain road trip from Paro or from Thimphu. It is the journey to Haa that is so wonderful and then Ha is fascinating because of the interesting geography, closeness to the border and the authentic villages as yet untouched by tourism. The temple complex was under renovation and not accessible. The shops are quaint and sell local produce.
