Detailed Reviews
It is so relaxing looking at the green surroundings. They have 3 pools and one separate that has a slide. We booked in one cottage with terrace. It was so nice experience, fresh air. Don't worry about the flies, since the open-air terrace were covered by a big net. The room is air-conditioned with tv and refrigerator. My family enjoyed the place.

Had to stay at this place for two nights during a recent visit. While the room was adequate the attitude of management and staff left a lot to be desired. We could not wait to get out of there and in all honesty I would not recommend a stay at this establishment as there are much nicer alternatives in the city if you can forego the pool and grounds definitely a last resort.

I enjoyed here because i was not expecting any half decent hotels here.
The complex is quite nice with 3 pools. The room i stayed in was large. But the only problem was ant investation. The toilet at one point was covered in thousands of black ants.
I ended up getting a discount due to the ants.
but overall the staff were very nice and the food ok. And in this part of the woirld its nice to have a place like this

It was the end of the year and I was on a short visit to Butuan City to see some friends. That's when we decided to look for a place where to spend New Year's Eve, and that's how i discovered the Gazebo Pools and Restaurant in Cabadbaran .. around 30mins away from Butuan City.
The resort has five swimming pools - two for kinds (with slides) and three for adults. They have nice rooms and cottages for rent. We were about 12 in the group and we decided to rent one big family room and one room for 2pax. All rooms were air-conditioned and have private rest/shower room. I think I paid around 7,000 pesos for the one-night accommodation, plus 500 pesos for one big cottage by the pool. Although they have a kitchen and you can order foods and drinks from the counter, we bought some foods and drinks with us, which was okay with the resort management.
The stay was very relaxing and fun. The group spent most of the time swimming, eating and drinking as we waited for the new year to start. No curfew. They also have a videoke room for rent (I think for 2000 pesos for three to four hours).
The following day, the 1st of January, lots of groups started to arrive, while we were already checking out of the resort. All in all, it was a very nice experience. We had fun and a very peaceful night rest.

If you have kids and your main goal in visiting a resort is to make them happy then it is one of the good options you can find which is very accessible in Agusan del Norte area. One thing that they don't maintain is the cleanliness of the area. The shower, cleaning and toilet area are dirty. If you have been to several nice resorts around the country, you might get disappointed, so don't expect too much.

Where to begin? Old worn out linens that smell bad. Bugs & lizards everywhere. Cable and WIFI that works...sometimes. The pools are filled with locals on a pay by the day plan. If you like a crowded pool with locals blowing snot in the water....then this is the place for you. The real fun begins after dark when the drunken locals crank up the LOUD karaoke and scream/sing/shout until sunup, this is not an exaggeration and management is nowhere to be found. It's 2am as I write this and the loud drunks are still at it. This is a small town and the hotel selection is limited. We will check out (early) tomorrow morning and try Lorreta...anyplace will be better that this..YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. Their pools are cleaned and changed every morning at least. They do offer hearty catered meal per order; very cheap. I am a long time client in this resort and I highly recommended this place to expats and tourists wanting value for their money.

The price is reasonable and the rooms are acceptable. However, I was very annoyed when I checked in. The check-in staff insisted that the triple room could only be occupied by 3 adults. Since my group was mostly children, they were not flexible in allowing more than 3 person in a room. For obvious reasons, 4-5 children can share a queen sized bed but they were not amenable to this. After an hour of argument, they finally relented. They should be more flexible in this. The wifi is only good outside the room.
