We stayed at Round Da Bay inn for 3 nights. Wonderful little Inn, older rooms but well equipped and comfortable. The rooms have a little fridge, toaster, dishes, coffee maker and kettle as well as supplies of coffee, tea and sugar. There is also a restaurant (Bella’s) and the food is homemade, tasty and great quality. Lots of plant based and gluten-free options as well. The owners, Karen and Chris, are extremely kind and will do all they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Great place to travel with children as well as there is plenty of room for them to play outside safely. There is also a room fully accessible as well as accessible aids if needed.

When looking at the location, you might think it’s a little out of the way but you can travel easily to Bonavista/Elliston. Staying there made us discover little villages we would never have seen otherwise like Open Hall(we saw a little iceberg there), Kings’s Cove, Keels and many more (you can also hunt for sea glass treasures on those beaches). If I ever go back to NL, I will definitely go back there.

The Inn has clean, fun, creative, and comfortable rooms with all the amenities. All the food is homemade and delicious. The location is good on the Bonavista Peninsula and near to the many attractions. Most importantly, Chris and Karen are the most helpful and thoughtful owners. They will go above and beyond to make your stay remarkable.

Chris, Karen, and the rest of the staff did a top-notch job hosting our wedding. They answered all of our questions very quickly, and because of that we felt very at ease prior to the wedding day.

The wedding itself was a huge success, with great food, good setup for music, lawn games, and the layout of the Inn made for a fun, tight-knit community feel. We all had a blast checking out the different themed rooms, some are really fun (like Nan's Attic). The music setup is great, and gave our wedding an authentic kitchen party vibe. Chris even passed out percussion instruments to the guests to play along with the live music, how amazing is that? The staff were supremely helpful in making sure all the guests were taken care of, and I've heard nothing but great things from everyone who stayed.

If you're looking for a great weekend stay, or a larger event like a wedding or family reunion I can't recommend the Inn highly enough. đź‘ŤTop notchđź‘Ť

I stayed here recently for a wedding and found myself very much at home. The Inn offers a relaxed atmosphere with delightfully decorated rooms, a kind and accommodating staff and an assortment of food options for those with sensitivities. A true example of Newfoundland hospitality on the beautiful Bonavista Peninsula. I very much enjoyed my stay and encourage everyone to plan a visit.

A wonderful place to stay. Karen and Chris are wonderful hosts. We went mid September in more of the off season when their restaurant was closed down but they still served a us wonderful meals. The place is stunning with newly updated theme rooms. Can’t say enough about this place. Thanks to both if them for a wonderful stay. Charlie was a blast!

We had spent a couple of nights here for a wedding and I was so impressed with this little darling. We were greeted by Karen and her staff who were so warm and friendly, I felt like I've known them all my life. All of the rooms were tastefully decorated in a different theme. We stayed in Nan's Attic #11 which was so cozy and so CLEAN!!! I got to view a few more of the rooms while there to see how they were decorated.......it was like a little surprise behind the other side of the door.....so much fun, you'll want to see them too. The food was delicious! We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend this jewel to anyone.

This place was recommended by a lady at the tourist information centre and she was spot on! Beautiful place. Fabulous meal! Even got a recipe for Blueberries in a Cloud dessert. The theme rooms are well done. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Staff were welcoming and attentive.

Hi! As of today, all of our rooms are available on Sept 16 & 17/16 except Bayman's Cove and Captain's Quarters. We have 6 rooms which have 2 double or queen beds, as well as Log Cabin with a double bed and bunk beds. Each of those rooms has a Breakfast Nook with a coffee machine, kettle, toaster and small fridge; they're $120/night. We also have lots of single rooms available at $110/night. You might want to have a look at the rooms on our website to see what would suit your family best. We're about 35 minutes from Skerwink Trail. King's Cove Lighthouse Trail is another beautiful hike; it's just 15 minutes from the inn and takes you along the scenic ocean side. There are lots of great small hikes in the area too (Rattle Falls, 15 min away, The Arches in Tickle Cove, about 20 minutes from here). There are boat tours of the area available each day, complete with waterproof suits so you can tour whatever the weather. There are also so many interesting historic places to visit on our peninsula - The Ryan Premises, The Matthew and others in Bonavista, Random Passage in New Bonaventure, Port Rexton, The Sealers Memorial in Elliston. There is also wonderful talent available at Rising Tide Theatre in Trinity (35 minutes away), in English Harbour, Garrick Theatre, lots of talented local artists. We've tried to sum up all the treasures in our area in our "Where to Go" cards, just to make sure you don't miss anything. If you have any specific interests, just let us know! We'd be happy to help in any way.
