Room was quiet and dark, plus comfy bedding. We were at the very end of the 2nd floor so not many people walking by and no noise between rooms/floors which I highly value. The property rooms are being renovated and we stayed in an unrenovated room - I'm glad they will be replacing carpet, cleaning tile soon. Did see a new room that looked great.. Pool area was nice and staff was helpful.

Great service from the minute we walked in. Indoor/outdoor pool was a blast for my 9 year old. Everyone respected the mandatory mask policy & social distancing recommendation. Room was very clean & beds were super comfortable. I did use my own pillow, theirs were too poofy for my taste.

The property, rooms, and service was outstanding. They even stored our bikes inside so we wouldn’t have them left in the back of the truck. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Checking in and out was easy. Only wish breakfast was included. That would’ve been great, instead of a charge.

We made reservations for a deluxe king suite with 5th floor or above mountain views. Upon check in, we were told the room we reserved was overbooked so they put us in another king room which they claimed was big, just didn't have the sofa and extra tv (so a standard room in other words). We paid a higher rate thinking we were getting a better room and the guest service associate said our bill would be adjusted. After looking the room over, we decided it wasn't what we wanted/needed so the guest associate said he did have a 2 queen room with the extra tv and sofa so we settled on that on the 3rd floor (again, we made reservations for 5th floor or higher and paid higher for it). Upon checking into the room, we noticed the carpet was worn with noticeable stains on the floor. The grossest thing though, we noticed a droplet of what appeared to be blood, on the ceiling. We informed the desk and they promptly took care of it so that was positive. We were never informed at check-in that housekeeping was by request only so we never received any additional towels or cleaning of our room on our 2 night stay. With COVID precautions being taken, we certainly understood, but we were frustrated when we went to request more towels, they said it would take 2 hours to arrive and then they never did (so we used our old towels). Lastly, when we got our invoice on checkout via email, our bill was never adjusted. Between the bait and switch tactic with our original room and then blood on the ceiling, I figured we would've had a little taken off the final tab but lesson learned with this hotel. We will not be returning on any future visits to Fort Collins.

The lobby and pool were nice and everyone we saw wore masks, so that was a positive at least.

Went to this property 10/4-10/8/21. It is under construction. They do not disclose it on their website, their booking page, or in their confirmation email. They said nothing until after signing to confirm the room rates at the front counter. Construction starts at 8AM and goes until 7PM. Water is turned off intermittently without warning. The solution provided by the concierge on our 4 night booking was a Starbucks coupon. At no point were they willing to release us from the booking to stay elsewhere, or even move us to another local Marriott property. The concierge honestly couldn’t care less. I only wish I could screen shot, and copy the text exchange between us over the 4 nights.

The management group at this facility clearly values short term revenue over long term client loyalty. It’s really a black mark on the Marriott brand. I recommend the local Holiday Inn Express, I stayed there in August, and it was a cleaner, friendlier, more comfortable facility, and about $75 a night cheaper.

Stay away until they finish their renovation! Right now, the rooms are very run down.
Pros: Staff is very considerate and accommodating, and the common areas are not bad.
Cons: Our first room smelled of moldy carpet so strongly that we asked to switch. The second room smelled almost as bad, but with a dollop of chemical air freshener spray to mask the mold. In addition the carpet had dark stains the size of dinner plates, the walls had gouges and stains all over, and the bed sheets in one bed were stained. There was what appeared to be a dried blood stain on the bathroom floor and bottom of the shower curtain. The towels provided were all frayed and torn. There is hammering all day (can hear it from two floors away, sounds like someone is constantly knocking loudly on your door). They did change the sheets for us, and said they were giving guests a voucher for a free coffee in the lobby, but every time we went there it was closed. In general the place seems deserted and run down. The pool was smaller than looks in their photos and was greenish, cloudy, and filled with bugs and other debris.
Might be a lot better after the renovations are complete.

I do NOT recommend staying here, at least during the coronavirus. We booked 4 rooms. 3 of them sept3-8, and 1 sept 3-7. 3 of the 4 were for platinum guests. Initially, i was told i could receive an upgrade suite, until the front desk said i booked too many nights! Seriously, i was being punished for bookings too many nights.

No housekeeping. I NEVER saw anyone cleaning the main areas. Breakfast ended at 10am. We were waiting for a table at 940am. There were empty tables, but no one to clear them or clean them from prior guests. At 10, the server told us the kitchen closed. The following days, we had no choice, but to sit at dirty tables. The employees were nice, but completely understaffed. A routine answer we received, the GM is revenue driven. The front desk would assist the restaurant, leaving no ine at the front desk. I called marriot twice. September 15th, and again September 18th. I have never received a return call.

The airlines and the airports were amazing. Clean and on top of the their game. The hotel issue is what will keep me from traveling during this pandemic.

The hotel is in a great location, but that is its only redeeming quality. This hotel is not up to Marriott standards. The hotel lobby/main floor has DIRTY rugs and dated furniture, the pool is cloudy and dirty and there is a wasp nest along the fence. The rooms are SMALL, dated and dirty. We had to wear shoes in our rooms because the carpet turned the bottom of our feet black, and there was mildew in the shower. The air conditioning is sub-par.it’s not central air and they units are dated and work only part of the time.
The location is good and the bar was open and reasonable, but we won’t stay here again.

I had made reservations about 1-1/2 months prior to travel. After driving for 10 hours my wife notices an email saying the reservation had been transferred to a Springhill Suites. She called and talked to a manager and we were informed they were overbooked. I had made the reservation enough in advance this should not have happened. The manager we called back was not even at the hotel. Called Marriott directly and got no where with that either. They said they would file a request to see what they could find out. That has been three days and have heard nothing. That is a great way to treat Marriott Bonvoy members. The manager at the Springhill Suites was nice and offered bonus points and said he was not sure what the other hotel would do. They didn’t do anything but inform me they transferred me. He also told me I was the third transfer from the same hotel. If I am ever in the Ft. Collins area again I would never attempt to stay at the Ft. Collins Marriott property again.

This property is in a very good location and fairly well kept up. Check in was less than friendly but acceptable. The room was well appointed but the carpet was soiled. There were no glasses available except coffee cups.
We’re tired of traveling as a married couple and having to accept a room with two double beds because a king is higher priced. Final appraisal, we would stay elsewhere next time.

It is a couple miles to New Belgium, it is next to the mall in the middle of Fort Collins. New Belgium is north east, just east of old town. There is a lot of new things at the mall but unsure of micro brews. Budweiser is farther north of town on I 25.
