Hotel's Favorite
My family stayed 5 nights in three suites to attend my son’s wedding. I chose this property because my kids have little children, this property provided full kitchens (no ovens). I took connecting suites, one was the 1-bedroom suite (2-adults, 2 children ages 5 & 1) connecting with my studio suite (2 adults, 15 & 9 year olds). The third suite was a separate 1-bedroom suite (2 adults, 2 children ages 2 & 7 months). All the suites had the same square footage, however because of the wall with the door to the separate bedroom, everybody hung mostly in my studio suite. Not having that wall & door in the studio suite, there was more room for the children to run around and play together. On the other hand, the 1-bedroom suites had that door for the little ones to quietly nap. The property provided Pack ‘N Plays for the little ones to sleep in. The older children slept on the sofa-sleepers.
The front desk was very friendly and accommodating to all our requests and needs. The entire property was very well-kept and clean. The breakfast area was next to the lobby with very nice choices of hot-food offerings and plenty of seating. Being that we had all the children, there was a very nice patio for us to be outside to eat with plenty of seating. There was a basketball court so the children could run around and play with a ball while we ate breakfast.
Housekeeping came in every other day, unless we requested more often. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning and replenishing. They actually left thank you notes for the tips we left them. The room temperature was great, I was able to adjust it as desired. The bathroom was well-lit with a separate door to the shower & toilet. The shower took a minute or two for the water to heat up, it was a nice pressure with a hot shower. There were containers of shampoo, conditioner & wash in the shower with a container of lotion over the sink. I loved their fragrance.
There was a nice game room, the older kids did have fun there. We tried to use the indoor pool, but the water was too cold for the children to go in. There was a hot tub, but it was broken. We did not use the fitness center. The TV only worked the first two days, the signal was out for the remainder of our stay.
When pulling up to the hotel’s main entrance, you can run in to check-in. But then you must drive around the building to the parking lot to unload the car. If the key card to the door does not work, you have to walk around the building to the entrance, which is a huge inconvenience when you have children in the car. There was plenty of complimentary parking, the lot was well-lit at night, so we did feel safe.
All-in-all we had a wonderful time staying at this property. The entire staff were very friendly and went above and beyond for us. I highly recommend this property, especially for families with children. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very professional and friendly, with an easy check-in, check-out process. The selected room was very clean and spacious, with safety protocols in place. When we needed anything, there was no problem getting it, such as fresh towels, toilet paper, kleenex, batteries for the remote, etc. The breakfast was limited to a go bag selection of juice, yogurt, a pastry, a granola bar, and a fruit due to safety of the public. So there isn’t a full hot breakfast at this time. Any questions one may have, is easily answered by the staff. Since breakfast was limited and not as pictured, we feel the rooms should have been discounted somewhat. But with all of the amenities provided, it”s still a great value for the price! This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property...and highly recommend it.

We have stayed at hundreds of hotels over the last few years big and small. This is a very nice hotel. The positives: great location in quiet residential area, friendly and accommodating staff,clean property and room, ceiling fan over bed, guest laundry (though they need to replace the one front loader that is falling apart and keep on top of the laundry room cleaning), good parking lot, quick elevators, good room lighting, good water pressure in sink and shower, comfortable bed, clean linens and towels. The negatives: wifi keeps knocking you out, a/c doesn’t cool down the room very well. Bottom line-we would gladly stay here again.

I arrived around 8:15pm on Friday. Thankfully I had arranged for a mobile key, since there was a sign at the front desk, "agent away." No indication when they left, when they would be back, etc. I generally like to have a physical key, just in case, but I managed fine without.
The room was ok. Not quite clean; I found pieces of lettuce under the windows when I opened the drapes. There was 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, and 2 bath towels, along with 1 bath mat. At no point were they refreshed.
Although my room had been pre-assigned, there was no trace of any amenity inside it. Yes, I did go to the supermarket and got a case of water (for a whopping $4), but it would have been nice to have some cold water waiting for me in the fridge.
I saw no employees for my entire stay. Trash cans outside were overflowing the entire time. No employee entered my room. I had ordered pizza, bought bottled water (for sport bottles), Gatorade, etc., and my room was filled with trash after the 3-night stay. No linens were refreshed. I'm fine with no bed making, but really no trash or linens refreshed is huge. Plus the overflowing public trash cans (probably because they don't empty trash in rooms, so people put it all in the public cans).
This was my first hotel stay since April. I've been staying at Airbnb's all summer, and have really grown to prefer them. It is a PITA lugging groceries inside the exterior door (using the mobile key), into an elevator, and into my room (again with the mobile key). There's noise from nearby rooms, people in the hallways, etc. Plus the trash issue...when I'm at an Airbnb I generally take my trash outside daily, if not more often. When I stay in a house, there generally isn't that much noise.
While the property itself was OK, the staffing issues (or lack thereof) at this property make me definitely not recommend it. Unless this is the way thing are at all hotels now. I've never in my lift stayed at a hotel where I never saw a single employee.

The bed sheets and comforter were stained, spa out of order, got over charged and not refunded. Talked to multiple people and they were not assuring or confident in their answers. Good breakfast, clean pool, and game room was exceptional. However, multiple people were using the game room as a dining area on the game tables...

I recently stayed sat this hotel for a routine work trip to Fort Collins. In my experiences with Hilton, most hotels are kept tidy and the service is usually consistent throughout any place I've stayed. This hotel, does NOT provide daily, or even weekly servicing of rooms. They do NOT even provide a way to exchange towels. At $150 plus per night and a Hilton Honors member this is unsatisfactory as the Comfort inn (located in the same parking lot) offers both room service and towels (daily) I ended up checking out of this hotel, and going across the parking lot to finish my work trip. The hotel had trash in the Hal ways and foul smelling garbage in and around the common areas, again - not a typical experience.

I arrived at the hotel to get a room two minutes before the dinner service ended. I was tired and had been driving for hours. I was concerned that we would miss dinner, so the front desk offered to make me and my three children to-go boxes so we wouldn't miss out on the meal. That was the kindest most gracious thing, and exactly what exhausted me needed. The kids loved their dinner in our room, and I was relieved of the chore of having to figure out dinner, which, again, was a real kindness and service to me in the moment. The room and hotel overall were very nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, and then I was on my way. This is my favorite brand of hotel to stay with my family on all our travels. Thank you to the very kind and wonderful reception staff for helping me.
I've stayed at Homewood Suites from St. Louis, MO to all over the west coast, and I find the service and value to pretty be consistent everywhere. But I think this incident with dinner easily makes the Fort Collins, CO Homewood Suites as my absolute favorite. Again, thank you.

It started out great with Sandy and the front desk folks. They got me a room with a bathtub, and early check in, assistance with our computer connecting to wifi. Clean room and great breakfast. On our day of departure, we arranged for a 1 pm check out and left the room with our cooler next to the fridge. We had food in the freezer and fridge that we didn't want to pack for a long car trip until the last minute. When we arrived to finish packing - everything was gone! Our very nice cooler and all the food for the road trip! The front desk claimed they didn't know but would try to find out. A bit later, housekeeping brought our cooler and a garbage bag with the items that were commercially prepared and unopened, but not all the other items. When I asked, they did not seem to be able to speak English, so I called the front desk again. They would try to find the rest. Then another garbage bag appeared with most of the other food, all jumbled and dumped together. Looked suspiciously like our very nice cooler was destined to be someone else's and food they deemed usable and unopened for someone else's refrigerator. All the other items that were to feed us on our road trip were deemed trash. I will never stay at thes property again. What a shame!

We opted to pay significantly more for a suite style room so that my son could sleep separate of us on our separate sleep schedules. Upon arrival, the living room was hot, and did not cool because the AC in the rooms was not working. In the bedroom, a portable AC unit was duct taped with cardboard to the outside through the window, and that unit had ZERO ability to cool the living room, especially when the door was shut! Clearly, management knew of the issue in the room, otherwise a portable unit would not have been there in the first place. Upon calling the front desk when I asked for another unit, the front desk said there were no more units in the facility. A true shame that I was sold a room without the amenities that were advertised, especially when our family’s sleep was affected.

We were in town for a high school graduation and selected this property and made travel arrangements to stay an extra night so our kids (6 and 2) could swim in the "indoor pool" that was listed. We got up early on our first morning and down to the pool to maximize their fun, only to discover that the water was absolutely freezing, not just cool, but FREEZING!. It was obvious that the pool heater was not on. We tried to let them play in the hot tub a little, but it was very hot and they could only dip in their feet for a short time. I inquired at the front desk to see if the heat just needed to be turned on and the gentleman (Dustin I think) told me that the pool wasn't heated and that it would "warm up when it got warm outside" which just isn't accurate. With the graduation activities, we weren't able to change hotels, so we basically wasted money on an extra night here. If you are taking your family and planning on pool time, don't bother with this one until they fix the obviously broken pool heater. On the positive side, the room was adequate, clean and comfortable for the most part. The curved rod for the original shower curtain was missing, but the broken brackets were still there. The $5 tension rod was perched precariously on them and immediately fell down on my wife when she attempted to close the curtain. I gathered the mess up, put the curtain back on the rod and secured it to the walls tightly. Another minor issue was the door to the room would not close securely on it's own because it would get stuck on the floor. Not a big deal for most people by any means, but when you travel with a 2YO, you have to constantly check something like that every.single.time...
