I stay at this hotel periodically, as it is a good combination of economy, convenience, cleanliness, and staff concern for guests. The manageress is particularly attentive to guests needs. The hotel is part of the ABVI chain, and is one of the best among the many in which I have stayed. It has excellent mattresses, satellite tv, fridge, microwave-----all in all, a very good remodel of the earlier motel

Spend the extra $20 and go down the street to LaQuinta, you will not be disappointed. If I could give this a negative star I would. I will never and I mean never stay here again. We booked stays for 2 days and then one day in the same week. On our first stay the lady couldn’t find our reservation for the first stay but could for the second, my husband tried showing her the confirmation number and email but she wasn’t interested. She tried calling the manager but couldn’t get ahold of her so she gave us a key and said she would figure it out in the morning and if there was any issues she would contact him. When we went back for our second stay they said since they couldn’t find us for the first stay they used the second reservation to cover that stay and after they called their manager the manager said if we wanted to stay there we needed to pay when we already pre paid for the two separate stays. So we asked if there was a corporate number and they said there was not. We had used points from our credit card to book these hotels, there was a hotel stay in the middle. It went like this: 2 days there, 2 days out of state, next day there. So we called the credit card company and they attempted to contact the manager. After 4 hours the story we got was that we never left the hotel and was there for 3 days and then the story changed to 4 days. My husband was like call the second hotel they can verify we were there and was not in their hotel. At the end of the day we ended up having to get another room at a different hotel. We will NEVER do business here again!!!

Do not waste your money at this place.They need to upgrade the plumbing.The carpets haven't been cleaned recently.Black mold lives in the jets of the bathtubs.The coffee goes right through you.Toilets barely flush.The bed will make you itch.There are plenty of other motels in the area.Pick any one of them and it is sure to be better than freezing your buns off here.

I'm torn on how to review this motel. The owners & staff are wonderful. They really are the positive in this place.
The wood ceiling and laminate floors were attractive (and so much better than carpet) and the bathroom was very clean with plenty of towels. There is a microwave and fridge in the room, both clean and working well. The A/C unit worked well also.
However, we will not stay here again. The sheets & pillows had other people's hair on them (although they smelled and looked laundered). There was no blanket, so we really only had a sheet once the comforter was pulled down, and the mattress cover was really stained. There were crumbs and large accumulations of dust/particles/debris bits under the bed and at the base of the headboard. The room also smelled of old smoke from a time before the building became non-smoking. The bathroom door did not fit in the jamb at all, so is just open.
The location is good, just a short drive from Old Town. And, as stated, the staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. They were just great. It all comes down to what you expect in a motel room. In our case, we were glad we were not staying long.

Wood plank ceiling provided ground floor unit with every noise from top floor. Upon arrival cleaning chemical odor very strong, objectionable. Missing towel bar, broken microwave handle, blobs of tar on floor. "Continental" breakfast was coffee and sweet rolls, nothing else. Bathroom door would not close. We will not be back.

I stayed here last night and it was so great. They had muffins and coffee at the morning and room was clean and quiet. The manager is kind and nice. Affordable price too! The general manager is really nice and kind.

Thanks for the room. It was very clean and the staff are nice and helpful. The new ownership is doing a great job of remodeling and renovating. I stayed here with my family under the previous ownership and was unhappy about my stay. Keep up the good work.

I’m constantly traveling for work, but when I have a chance to be back in Colorado I enjoy staying here. Good rates. New ownership, and amazing management from Tyler, and his family have really turned this place around, and it’s definitely still on the rise! Perfectly located around any amenities you could imagine. As well as being extremely close to downtown, I’d highly recommended staying here.

I visited this exact hotel 2 years ago then again last week. Looks like the hotel is now under new management and in better condition. The room I stayed in seem like it was recently renovated and very clean. All 3 nights I stayed there were very quiet and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Fort Collins.

Clean and great value. Nice location (the motel is on hwy 287). Oldtown is also nearby. We stayed here before visiting Rocky Mt National Park. We loved this place. Definitely will come back to here again!
