Best non-vaction hotel experience .
Comfy bed, far enough off the highway that there was no traffic noise. Patio area was beautiful. Walking distance to several restaurants. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, it was good but expensive. Lots of parking. Staff was pleasant.
Much more than I expected not knowing the hotel or the area, we even took walks/runs thru the nice neighborhood that surrounded the property.
Only thing negative was the tiny, indoor pool with poor ventilation.

We enjoyed our stay after the manager, Jonathan, made things right. Our room hadn't been prepared for 3 people, only 2, regarding towels and sofa bed linens. There was also only 1 single packet of regular coffee, an almost empty box of facial tissues, and an on-wall shampoo that ran out after our first day. The linens provided were adequate for only the 1st night, with only 1 towel exchange allowed every 3 nights. I've noticed that almost all the Choice hotels no longer provide daily housekeeping and clean linens and have no restaurant or lounge, nor the hot breakfast. Cold grab-and-go bags are a sorry substitute. (Actually, I did stay at a Clarion last month that provided guests with hot breakfasts that were prepared by staff and given to each customer. That was very nice and should be the standard.) The rates at the other Choice hotels, IMO, should be cut accordingly. Definitely on the plus side, the bed was VERY comfortable, and the TV screens were big. The coffee, when it arrived, was Starbucks and FAR superior to other Choice hotels. The pool was open by reservation. And, as I already, said the manager made things SO much better!

We got our room through Hotwire, so did not expect a great room. We were traveling with our daughter for a college tour of Co State Univ. Our room turned out to be very nice with 2 separate king size beds, one in its own bedroom. The room was clean and very large with a mini fridge and microwave. The hotel normally offers a free breakfast, but since it is covid time, we were told we'd receive pre-packaged food in a bag. We weren't even going to go pick it up, but my daughter and husband were awake so decided to go check it out. The breakfast turned out to be very good! It was a croissant egg sandwich which we warmed up in the microwave, a yogurt, and an apple. We all ate them and were very happy! We were only there one night, but we would definitely stay there again if back in the area!

We were in town for a second time for a nearby seminar. The first time, we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn across the parking lot. This time, we stayed at the Cambria because it got higher ratings and cost only a little more. We did not think that the Cambria compared favorably and were surprised that it wasn't rated lower. It was just average. The room was dated, the furniture in the room felt cheap, including a computer chair that felt unstable. They had cards in the room indicating that they would only provide room cleaning service once every three days. The coffee setup had the bare minimum, and we had to go downstairs to restock since they weren't providing daily service. The people there were friendly and seemed to be doing the best they could, but it felt like they were barely getting by with a skeleton staff.

For the prices this property commands, I’d have expected more than a relatively neglected space. The bathroom needs serious attention with torn up walls and tile that moves under your feet and lack grout. There were two bath towels for a room that allegedly sleeps 4. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash are in containers attached to the shower wall. Conditioner was empty! If you prefer bar soap you should bring your own.

You can hear the people walking above you and the television of the rooms next to you.

Cheap uncomfortable hide a bed where you can feel the springs.

Next, the pool is very very small! I’d say no more than one family at a time can use it. The hot tub wasn’t working during our visit. The tiles that surround the pool are doubtfully meant for a pool because they are so slick you must walk delicately. If your kids jump in, the splashes will completely wet the tiles. Don’t plan to come to this property and use the pool but if you do, beware of potential slips!

If I had paid about $75/$85 for the night I’d probably give the property one more star because then it would be on par with a Motel 6 or a Super 8 and I’d say then you get what you pay for. But at prices close to $200 per night, this property completely misses the mark!!

Pro: staff seemed nice upon check in. King bed is ok (not great like a high end hotel, but comfortable enough).

I wouldn’t stay in this property again unless the nightly rate was much much lower!

The Cambria was extraordinarily clean, and the rooms are spacious. However, the rooms are starting to show their age with peeling wood trim and spackle stains on the wallpaper.

In the public spaces, there were two glaring issues. One handrailing had come off of the first-floor stairs. Maintenance patched the holes left; however, they didn't vacuum the drywall dust from the repair.

Second, the left side of the entrance awning had a huge break in one panel. It was exposed to the point visitors could see insulation.

In the end, they need to pick up the maintenance. The Cambria is in an area with a large number of hotels. They'll continue to lose business if they don't keep up.

Upon check in our sofa bed was missing a mattress and both TVs did not work. They did fix this issue with a stained mattress and fixing both tvs. At 2am we woke up sweating to realize the heater/cooler was broken. It was the middle of winter and our room was 80*. I went to the front desk to see if they could help and they suggested cracking the door in the hallway open. He mentioned they had just done work to this room. There was no way I would leave my door open to the hallway I have two small children and who knows who could try to walk right in to our room. He did not offer to switch our room, he said since we’d be checking out soon. He did visibly feel really bad.

After over an hour of trying everything to turn the heat off and open the window we managed to get the window open. We spent the rest of the morning going from freezing with the window open to sweating with the window shut. I brought it to the attention yet again of the front desk at checkout to make sure they fixed it before rebooking that room and they viability felt bad. She said she could not refund me since I booked third party but her manager would be reaching out either via phone or email. That has not happened at this time.

While I understand they felt bad, nothing has been done to remediate this horrible stay. We got less then 3 hours sleep. I did expect an amazing room, however, I do expect the advertised amenities to work and to not have it be so hot in my room that I’m sick.

This is our new favorite place in Fort Collins! The absolute best customer service, hands down, we’ve had in years! My mom and I come from hotel/hospitality backgrounds and these days you cannot find this kind of service. First interaction was with Meghan at the front desk. She has a personality that is made for hospitality. Outgoing, helpful, and “above and beyond” to a whole new level. Mandy works in restaurant/lounge and she catered to us while still keeping up with the rest of the area. The location is perfect, clean and tidy rooms- but again the hospitality at this location has made this our new stop in Fort Collins. Also- Matthew came to our rescue once as well! These people were not put out, they were happy to help us and make our stay wonderful. We were together to get away for the 1 year anniversary of my fathers death so I have to add that we weren’t sure how anyone could make us happy and enjoy this time- but these people did it! Don’t miss out on visiting and staying with these people!

Bed & pillows were very comfy. We booked a standard king suite but we’re given a handicap king suite. The sofa was very uncomfortable & looked like it had come out of a frat house. Decor was very worn & shoddy!

Shower/tub didn’t drain & by the time we finished our showers the water was well over our ankles.

A/C didn’t cool properly. The note taped to the thermostat said to see instruction in the desk drawer but there were none. We like our room cool at night for sleeping but it never cooled down below 72 until morning.

This room wasn’t worth the $274 price. $129-149…maybe.

Very disappointing.

I paid $400 a night for a room with stains on carpet and a workout room that was dark and most machines didn’t work. Plus you had to pay $12 for a breakfast that looked from a freezer. Room was dark to cover up stains, air conditioning didn’t work. This was a complete rip off for parents of a college student
