Comfy bed, far enough off the highway that there was no traffic noise. Patio area was beautiful. Walking distance to several restaurants. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, it was good but expensive. Lots of parking. Staff was pleasant.
Much more than I expected not knowing the hotel or the area, we even took walks/runs thru the nice neighborhood that surrounded the property.
Only thing negative was the tiny, indoor pool with poor ventilation.
You can hear the people walking above you and the television of the rooms next to you.
Cheap uncomfortable hide a bed where you can feel the springs.
Next, the pool is very very small! I’d say no more than one family at a time can use it. The hot tub wasn’t working during our visit. The tiles that surround the pool are doubtfully meant for a pool because they are so slick you must walk delicately. If your kids jump in, the splashes will completely wet the tiles. Don’t plan to come to this property and use the pool but if you do, beware of potential slips!
If I had paid about $75/$85 for the night I’d probably give the property one more star because then it would be on par with a Motel 6 or a Super 8 and I’d say then you get what you pay for. But at prices close to $200 per night, this property completely misses the mark!!
Pro: staff seemed nice upon check in. King bed is ok (not great like a high end hotel, but comfortable enough).
I wouldn’t stay in this property again unless the nightly rate was much much lower!
In the public spaces, there were two glaring issues. One handrailing had come off of the first-floor stairs. Maintenance patched the holes left; however, they didn't vacuum the drywall dust from the repair.
Second, the left side of the entrance awning had a huge break in one panel. It was exposed to the point visitors could see insulation.
In the end, they need to pick up the maintenance. The Cambria is in an area with a large number of hotels. They'll continue to lose business if they don't keep up.
After over an hour of trying everything to turn the heat off and open the window we managed to get the window open. We spent the rest of the morning going from freezing with the window open to sweating with the window shut. I brought it to the attention yet again of the front desk at checkout to make sure they fixed it before rebooking that room and they viability felt bad. She said she could not refund me since I booked third party but her manager would be reaching out either via phone or email. That has not happened at this time.
While I understand they felt bad, nothing has been done to remediate this horrible stay. We got less then 3 hours sleep. I did expect an amazing room, however, I do expect the advertised amenities to work and to not have it be so hot in my room that I’m sick.

Shower/tub didn’t drain & by the time we finished our showers the water was well over our ankles.
A/C didn’t cool properly. The note taped to the thermostat said to see instruction in the desk drawer but there were none. We like our room cool at night for sleeping but it never cooled down below 72 until morning.
This room wasn’t worth the $274 price. $129-149…maybe.
Very disappointing.
