Great place to stay on the way to Mesa Verde NP. Room was clean and spacious and quiet at a good price. Didn't have the free breakfast due to Covid, but got a discount at local coffee shop that was pretty good. Simple and good, that's all you need.

Awesome, we so appreciate your entrusting us with your stay! COVID-19 has been such a struggle for everyone, particularly travel-related small businesses. We chose to promote other businesses in town by offering a discounted breakfast option at Durango Joes Coffee. They in turn are selling breakfast burritos from a small local diner. Locals helping locals that’s what it’s all about! Durango’s a great town to visit on your trek to Mesa Verde, a UNESCO world heritage site that is rich in Native American culture and history. *For those of you who have not been to this National Park, it is well worth the drive to visit this historic treasure*. Thanks again friend, we hope to see you in the future. Take care and safe travels!!

Hotel's Favorite
Let me start by saying that I asses hotels for a living (no joke- it’s a real job!) and this was one of the very best hotel stays I’ve had in years - and I have stayed everywhere. Everything about our stay was wonderful! I was impressed before we even arrived: the over-the-phone reservation process was clear & efficient and the woman I spoke with was lovely. Upon arrival, the late-night check in process was seamless and intuitive. Within the room itself, the space was cozy, well appointed and spotlessly, blindingly clean. And the bed... oh, the bed... it was soooo comfortable. Slept like a baby! Our room was well-lit, the HVAC worked perfectly, water pressure was strong and we loved that the shampoo/soap was provided via pump dispenser to be environmentally friendly. Staying at the Adventure Inn was a stroke of luck and turned out to be a highlight of our cross-country road trip. Quite honestly, I would go back to Durango just to stay there again! Maybe one day soon... HUGE thank you to the Adventure Inn for a wonderful stay and a beautiful reprieve for two weary travelers.

We daily check our online presence and reviews to evaluate where we, as a team, need to improve. Reading this we were immediately in tears...COVID-19 has definitely presented challenges and driven home the need to communicate and at times be met with resistance for taking care of our guests remotely. Needless to say, words can't adequately express our heartfelt thanks for your glowing review and acknowledgement we are doing a good job! Thanks for sharing with other travelers but most importantly for entrusting our small mom and pop (and phenomenal team) with your treasured Durango memories! We look forward to your return... take care and safe travels friends!

I booked this hotel online. Received email with clear instructions for check up but when we drove there I called the hotel to make sure all was in order and they had our keys and room ready to go. Contactless check-in. I booked the king bed room it had a fridge and microwave. The room was clean in its entirety. Bed was very confortable and blankets were really warm. Its located very close to the main part of town but far away from the crowds, it has restaurants and coffee houses very close by. I really enjoyed my stay. Will book again if I'm in DUrango again.

The owners of the Adventure Inn have it all figured out. Great location, great value and they have all the little things that most other motels/hotels haven't figured out. Easy check in/check out. Towels to abuse (dirty boots, vehicle, etc...) Industry grade APC charger, Diagram of the TV remote, Super Clean, a coupon for the coffee shop next door...To boot the staff checked in with prior to my arrival....Highly Recomend

How incredibly kind, thank you so very much! It has been a struggle to survive the pandemic and all the multiple hurdles it has presented for our small mom and pop business. We've tried to focus on what we believe to be the most important issues: staff and guest safety by being contactless, very clean rooms, being diligent in sharing information, and most of all making sure guests feel comfortable and well cared for by being just a phone call away. Since we are contactless and not offering breakfast we felt the need to help our fellow local businesses during these trying times. Locals helping locals! Durango Joe's coffee kiosk is very close- within walking distance and they are selling breakfast burritos (so good) for another local restaurant. Win-win! Again, our sincere thanks for staying with us and for the wonderful review! Take care and safe travels to you friend!

This was a great place to stay in Durango. It's an older motel that has been well maintained. Our room was very clean with a nice bed, TV, microwave, and refrigerator. They did not have a coffee maker though, which we would have liked. The staff was friendly and attentive if we needed anything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
