Very nice Marriott Hotel. The service was very friendly and professional. Free parking and free breakfast in the morning. Very clean rooms and up-to-date amenities. We upgraded to a suite and I would definitely stay here again
I was in town for a couple days on a work trip and stayed here. The location is perfect just a couple minute drive from the downtown area with all the restaurants. Also do quite a bit of fly fishing and it was a short walk to the Animas River with several good holes close. The fishing was great. My only complaint is because of covid restrictions hotel workers had to dish up my breakfast plate where I took it back to my room to eat. The eggs and sausage were cold and inedible. Other than that great hotel.
This Fairfield Inn offers spacious rooms, larger than most other hotels. The room is clean and equipped with nice amenities that look modern. The breakfast offered was not bad, but we encountered badly prepared food like hashbrown that was still frozen in the middle. The hotel staff are in general courteous and helpful.
We stay at this chain most of the time and this was by fair the most disappointing. Our room had an air conditioning unit that roared like a jet engine on and off all night long . The breakfast service crew was most unwelcoming . They made me feel like I was bothering them . The little bit of premade eggs bacon and hash brown was cold. Good thing the microwave in room worked. Management needs to retrain the staff on this December 1 shift for sure . The toiletries was sufficient and nice to have full bottles of shampoo etc in shower.
Stayed one night en route to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Newer building, typical of Fairfield quality. Comfortable and in a good location for visiting downtown for dinner. Only drawback was breakfast service. Guests stood in line, many without masks, to get take away food. Unsafe and time-consuming. They should go with pre-packaged rolls and yogurt/fruit instead.
