We were booked at another hotel in Angeles as our family decided to spend New Year’s Eve in an out-of-town place to maximize the long weekend. My husband asked me to look for a place to spend the New Year’s Eve countdown. So my son and I searched social media sites and google. We found several hotels inside Clark offering the NY Eve Countdown party but mostly were in the Php 2,500 and up range. Till I chanced upon the FB ad of Xenia with a package of Php800 per person to include a buffet dinner, NY countdown, live band and fireworks. We were uncertain at first but we relied on the Tripadvisor reviews about the Hotel and mostly it was positive. We were a bit hesitant too since it was not such a good experience attending the NY Eve Party of a hotel in Alabang last year. Still we…
Stayed for 3 nights. The family suite is located at the faaar end of the corridor. The room is spacious enough for 5 adults. There are 2 bathroom showers with the bigger room having the en suite. The rooms inside the suite have their own ACs so it might get too cold. The suite has a veranda too. It is equipped with a kitchenette too. The beds and pillows are comfy enough to give one a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet is ok. It has a convenience store at the side of the building. Check in requires a security deposit though. Reception staff is cordial. The hotel is near duty free stores and restaurants.
Good points - staff is friendly though some looks like a bit lost; venue, lobby and lounge area is nice and clean unlike the 6th floor where we stayed which smells like water from the drainage, poorly maintained room; creepy space with electric heater control and door control can be found... poorly maintained faucet and toilet at lobby area; elevator took aged to open because only two is working... i cant believed it passed as any two star hotel... so far this is my worst ever... cleanliness is observed only st the lobby... parking is a fire hazard! Food is salty and hard to chew though some taste so-so... if not with the helpful crew and nice lobby this can be a terrible hotel.
Cons 1. Although we made a booking for a room with two beds, upon check in we were offered a room with a king sized bed instead. :( Also, staffs in the front desk appeared like they don't know what they were doing. 2. In our room, next to the door, there was an empty space which could maybe pass for the size of a small bathroom, with a faucet and wirings. Like what is that? Is that safe or something? 3. Towels are old. They looked like they have been used sooooo many times. Replace them! 4. We had a small sofa in our room. It would be really nice to lounge around but the pillows and the sofa itself didn't smell nice. It kind of smells like sweat or something. 5. There is a coffee station but there were no stirrers nor teaspoons. We requested but they didn't provide. Should we…
I was surprised to know there is another hotel in this area. We booked here because it is the most affordable hotel near the venue of the event we attended. Its a big property but needs maintenance. Staff are really friendly, surprisingly they greet you when they see you unlike other hotels in the area. Room is okay, 2 beds are all single. Bathroom quite small though. what they lack in the room is information about the hotel, like list of restaurants, where the gym or pool is. They need to have that ready for guests to read. The hotel hs good potential if managed well
Went here as part of a family trip to Clark. Enjoyed the Hotel - breakfast was plentiful and wide selection for everyone. However check in / check out procedures need to be reviewed as this takes too long. Others are better and quicker - thus only rates 4 out of 5. Other than that good.
I guess Xenia Hotel helped me dodge a bullet from a nearby, almost rundown hotel. Xenia Hotel caters mostly to East Asian guests (and gamblers, when it still had its casino?). They have spacious, condo-style rooms, but I wonder why they tried to fit in twin beds in my bedroom, leaving me with very little space to walk around. Lobby looks fantastic, but it's the opposite for their breakfast buffet.
when we got to the room on the 5th floor which took a while because only 1 small elevator was working the room was a bit dated feeling and the air conditioning leaked. The restroom was poorly designed and a taller guest can't actually sit on the toilet its actually worse than an airplane toilet. If you manage to sit down you will have a view of a dingy shower with bugs in it. The pool area is nice and my son loved playing in it and the service of the people was wonderful! Fortunately we only stayed 1 night here and this was the worst hotel that we stayed in during our 15 day trip.
so disappointed with this hotel, rooms are so so, corridor to the rooms are terrible like hospital,.room door are steel, hotel connecting with local resident,.corridor smells. rooms are dark, bfast are terrible sucks. foods are cold, every morning I just take toast, coffee are terrible too. no service for the coffee shop. everythings have to ask for it. swimming pool are disgusting , dirty only one chair and a table. jesus christ. they said gym are under renovation, actually nothing are doing there just close it, saw it with bad smells. nearby hotel just Korean supermarket, chinese restaurants but expensive, have seven eleven. nothing else. the good things are hotel have shuttle bus to SM mall. never recommend this hotel, very disappointed. old, outlook of hotel like hospital.…
We stayed during the weekend because this is the official hotel of the Classic Aspirated Club, a group of men who are into circuit racing. This is our home base for the Petron Motorsport Championship. Parking is never a problem in this hotel because they have an ample parking space in their basement. They also have a very huge lobby with a theme of Nami Island at it’s center. Free breakfast is inclusive of your stay and their spread is ok. Our suggestion is to add more breakfast food like bacon, pancakes , ham instead of lunch viands. They have a bar near the coffee shop which offers nightly entertainment. Rooms are very nice and huge. We got the one bedroom standard which can actually fit four people. It offers a nice view of Clark. Aircon is ok..beds are ok and bathroom is…
