The staff was extremely helpful and always friendly. The physical plant and food was mediocre. The CoLap Thursday night dinner was quite decent but the other meals were not. The grilled chicken and brisket served at lunch were inedible and it would have been nice to consistently have yogurt at breakfast. The room was clean but it lacked any nightlights so that getting up in the middle of the night required putting on a full blast of light. Also, the ceiling was so thin that I could easily hear the person in the room above me whenever they moved. Finally, the Wi-Fi did not work on my computer and another guest had the same problem. I could get signed on but then the signal would drop. The very helpful IT person tried hard to fix the issue but concluded that there was a problem with my computer. However, when I was traveling home last evening I had no problem using the WiFi at the BWI airport.

We had a last minute change in lodging crisis and ended up at Cheyenne Mountain. We were greeted by Navaeh at the front desk. She was more than helpful. We were easily booked into a room for our stay. Each time we needed assistance we made sure to wait for her as she was helpful and kind. When the staff at the pool were needed to step away from their post they personally spoke to each person at the pool to be sure they didn't need anything before they left. we did need fresh towels in our our room and needed to call the front desk several times (hours apart) before we found a worker in the hall and had to ask for them personally. We enjoyed the singer that was in the restaurant at supper time and our waitress was funny and friendly. Great location. Close to so many attractions. easy access. Be aware: We stayed for 4 days and there were only 2 disposable cups in the room. We had to change rooms during our stay and our second room did not have a microwave. They advertise several pools and activities on site but it is quite a walk away, even a drive truthfully.

Our stay for a ministry conference exceeded my very low expecttions based on the many recent, poor reviews. It's a nice property. The daily breakfast buffet is one of the biggest & best & cheapest ($23) I've seen at a nice hotel, so I don't understand the negative comments about it. Per the bad reviews, I advised our entire group to each request at check in a top floor room (due to the thin ceilings) in a building with reliable A/C (due to many people in hot weather having unworking A/C). Impressive gym & private adult pool (appreciated the unusually hot jacuzzi & cool pool) down by the lake with an adjoining snack bar. Did purposely not eat in the TA2.5 restaurants on property. Odd to not have lemon for teas or sparkling waters at our retreat sessions. Of the 2 lunches & 2 dinners for our group, all buffets, we had dry, overcooked trout, salmon, tri tip & also dry "BBQ" pulled pork with NO sauce. Understand now why The Broadmoor & Garden of the Gods Resort are each booked out 1-3 years.

The lobby area was huge, well-maintained, and offered ample seating options. There was a restaurant and a bar located in the lobby.
The outdoor pool and hot tub are situated on the lower level, conveniently located near the lobby. I was told the outdoor pool was heated, but due to the weather, we were not able to use it. The lobby features a spacious terrace that offers breathtaking views of the majestic mountains. The indoor pool is located inside a building that is the farthest building from the lobby close to the outdoor pickleball courts. It is walkable depending on weather conditions. The inside pool has lap lanes with a slide. The pool water was kept at 86°.
The check-in process was efficient, and the front desk personnel were courteous and professional. We were given 2 room card keys.
The resort's extensive grounds are conveniently laid out, with buildings in close proximity, facilitating effortless pedestrian movement during favorable weather conditions.
However, due to the snowfall, we encountered difficulties in locating our designated building, despite the provided map.
Our assigned room was number 333 in building D. Complimentary parking was available directly in front of the building. Upon arrival at our designated building, we observed the absence of an elevator. The parking level is conveniently situated on the same level as the second floor of the building, necessitating only a single flight of stairs to access our room from the parking lot.
Our room was adequately sized and well-maintained. It featured a king-size bed, multiple lamps, nightstands with electrical outlets, a flat-screen television with a diverse channel selection (please refer to the attached photos for the channel lineup), a full-length mirror, a closet, a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea, a mini-fridge, an ice bucket, a small table with a chair, a single seat couch, a safe, and small balcony with chairs.
There were 2 complimentary water bottles provided inside our room.
There was no microwave.
The bathroom was spacious. The sink, located outside the bathroom, offered ample space for our toiletries. The bathroom was equipped with three sets of towels (body, face, and hand), a hairdryer, and wall-mounted dispensers for body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Hotel-sized lotion and a bar of soap were also provided.
The staff demonstrated a consistently positive and helpful attitude when responding to inquiries or requests for assistance.
Have a relaxing stay!

My husband and I decided to stay at this resort to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. When the reservation was made in February, I requested a honeymoon suite. I was told that this property did not have a honeymoon suite, but that our reservation was for a deluxe luxury room overlooking the golf course and mountains. A week prior to our arrival, I received an email informing me of the option to upgrade to an executive room for an additional per night fee of over $100. I inquired as to the necessity of upgrading when our reservation was for a deluxe room, and I was told that our room was “very nice”, and that we would be delighted with the accommodations. WRONG. The room was the opposite of deluxe. The room had a refrigerator, but no microwave, and the A/C did not work properly. There was no sitting area or room, just a chair in the room. Luxury? I think not. Our first night there, we had the A/C set at 64°, and because it wasn’t working, my husband didn’t sleep well and soaked the sheets with sweat. The next morning, I requested for the sheets to be changed, and housekeeping did not arrive until between 7:00-8:00pm to complete that task. It could have easily been done when housekeeping had been at the room earlier in the day to change out the towels. We also requested for maintenance to come look at the A/C. We were told that it could not be set lower than 64 degrees, and that we would need to move the chair that they had placed in front of the unit to a different location in the room for the A/C to have proper ventilation for a more efficient performance. The resort’s website and TV menu indicated that the Mountain View Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We had originally planned to have our anniversary dinner there, but when we checked in, we were informed that the restaurant is only open for breakfast and that it is buffet only, you can not order off the menu. For the price of the accommodations at this resort, we were severely disappointed in the lack of “luxury”, as the room as described, in addition to the amenities not being as described in the marketing materials. We will not return to this resort, and we certainly wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone else.

Price is too expensive, they knew there’s a wedding going on for the date (on a weekday) and decided to increase the price and then drop it down on the weekend. It was $400 per night on weekday and then when we check the weekend it’s only $180. They don’t even allow any discount especially for wedding. Plus they don’t even provide breakfast.
Staffs were rude. Asking for tips in order to serve us.
On the day of the wedding, bride and groom pay for all you can drink which is $500 per person but we were limited on how much we can drink. Staffs said 1 shot in 10 minutes per person. And then later we heard they said they going to ran out of shot so they starting to add ice on the shot. And then within 1hours they said no more shot in the next hour, when we come back, they said they don’t serve shot anymore, only mix drink. They also ran out of beer. What kind of bar ran out of liquor and have the audacity to said “all you can drink”!!!! Not worth the money. The groom tried to talk to them but all they said is that we overdrink! Who are them to say that when the groom already paid them for all you can drink!!!
This is not worth your money. Go to DR or Cancun, they are so much better.

Paid $200+ for a room with my wife and 2 kids expecting that being a highly rated resort with an advertised 2 restaurants and room service. Upon check in I was informed only 1 place to eat was open a sports bar/ lounge. Nothing is worse for a family with 2 young kids than a screaming loud bar with a sub par menu for anyone with severe allergies. So then we decided to do room service. Long story short it took over an hr to recieve 2 ribeye steaks. I have never had such a salty overpriced steak before. The broccoli was so fibrous we could only eat the top. My potatoes had the sprouts still in them. Then the room had no microwave so I called the front desk and they informed it cost $20 for a microwave to be in our room. After that mess we tried to take a shower only to find the shower handle was broke and we couldn't get warm water. Throughout the night it was clear we were sleeping in a moldy room. We all woke up sick. Such a disappointment. I will never return and I would advise everyone to stay away

The toiled in the bathroom is low so if you have dangling parts they will get a wash in the toilet water. I had to go to the meeting rooms when I needed to go to the restroom. Otherwise it was comfortable stay with a beautiful view. All of the personnel were courteous and helpful.

Not what I would expect from such a large 4 star resort.
Pros: The lobby is great, the check-in experience was lovely. The Front desk staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. The overall property (golf course) looks great and the cranes in the pond were a pleasant sight. Breakfast was ok, no complaints but nothing really special about it. View was splendid.
Cons: The mirror is chipped and sharp. Basic cable. The drains sound like a vacuum most of the night. The backing plate for the showers temperature is coming off, could cause a leak and mold. Water temperature while in the shower is very touchy. Water temperature doesn't stay hot long enough to fill the bathtub. Door hinges are rusty. Paint peeling in the corners.Scuffs on the walls. Cracks in the trim. No trash can liners. Booked 2 beds, 2 people, only had one robe which was also very stiff and abrasive. Would be nice to have had a microwave in room. Balcony light doesn't work. Called the number they had to book a spa appointment, automated message said to visit website, website said to call the number... eventually someone picked up. The desk staff in K building were rude and helpful at the same time.
Neutral points: Beds are really soft. Blankets are very light. Enough towels.
At best, I could describe this venue as quaint. Definitely not what I was expecting. Poor cost to value ratio. Would recommend to stay somewhere else and book appointments to the other amenities they offer here separately.(Spa, golf, restaurant etc.) Bring your own robes.
This review is made on day one of our two night booking, I may update after the whole stay.

As soon as you walk into the front entrance, it's obvious the hotel takes high pride in their facilities. The place is very clean and the food/service is amazing as well. Strongly recommend for anyone looking to stay at a place with all an abundance of amenities as well as stunning views.
