Three letters describe this place...WOW!!!! Being local and looking for a getaway for the new year weekend I had heard a lot of good things this place over the years and decided to try it. When we got there we were greeted by Monica who was so welcoming and gave us such great care I ended up nicknaming her MOMICA:) As she took us around we couldn't believe how clean it was. We were shocked to learn the age of the building as it was spotless and modern but still had character and a story. Full of decorations, and comforts you want on holiday we took over the common room and enjoyed football on a huge screen, fireplace, the most comfy furniture to lounge and spend time relaxing with loved ones. An elevator made loading in easy. Our room had a steam room in the shower, and what a way to start and end the day. Our next stay will be in a room with a hot tub for sure! Steps away from the main st. in downtown we parked once and the rest was taken care of by Old Town Guesthouse. Such a turnkey experience to have, it cost less than the airbnb our friends stayed in just down the street....and we had breakfast from a chef every morning and were treated like family. Kind of a no brainer and highly recommended!! M and R

We enjoyed five nights in the Indian Paintbrush room on the third floor (elevator available) which has nice natural light, small private balcony with hot tub, fireplace and view of Pike's Peak. Several of their eight rooms have these amenities. The B&B has a great location to sites. Close to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Olympic Museum, Red Rock Open Space, Glen Eyrie Castle. Our room had a coffee maker and small refrigerator. On the second floor is a microwave, filtered water and supplies. The Inn is located in Old Colorado City which has a small historic main area a half block away. We enjoyed the delicious onion soup at La Baquette Restaurant, the cozy, friendly atmosphere of Pizerria Rustica and the Italian restaurant, Paravincini's (make a reservation). Thoughtful services are available at the B&B such as comfortable common areas inside and outside to bring takeout food, share a glass of wine or just relax. In the basement there is a pool table and pin ball machine. DVDs are available to borrow and watch in your room. You can order a cheese tray, wine, chocolates delivered to your room. We had a beautiful cheese, fruit tray we enjoyed during our visit very reaonably priced. The B&B will have new owners at the end of September but I trust they will provide a wonderful experience as well. We look forward to returning!

This B&B surpassed our expectations! Having gone to several B&B's in the past, I must say this had the little touches and additions that made it extra special. I loved the beverage area in particular. In addition, there is a quaint little library with books, movies, and games. The game room downstairs is a fun addition with a pool table and ping pong machine. It was definitely worth getting the room with the private hot tub, and I don't use the word private lightly! No one can see you, but you have a gorgeous view of the peaks from the balcony with a cute little table and chairs. Even the heat lamp in the restroom added a cozy ambiance! Also, Monica was the most welcoming, and the sweetest hostess one could ask for. She accommodated my annoying dietary restrictions well, and I still was able to enjoy every bite of her specialized breakfast! I literally would not have changed anything! Lastly, the location was prime in a fun area to walk around, even though it was brisk, we enjoyed our walk to eat at Paravacini's for dinner, which I also highly recommend (just make reservations)! You could always find a hotel that is cheaper, but hands down, it is worth every penny coming to this place to relax, enjoy, and make memories!

We stayed here for 5 days and picked this hotel because it was a less than 10 minute walk to our son's home. We were a little concerned that they had waterbeds, as in the past I had found them unsatisfactory, but these were extremely comfortable. Even the pillows were fine - not too thick. It was quiet, despite Territory Days occurring over Memorial Day weekend. We slept 8 hours plus every night!
The shower was good and all the amenities were there. There is onsite parking, which was fortunate since our visit coincided withTerritory Days. We never had a chance to use the hot tub on the balcony, which has great views of the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. Breakfasts always included fresh fruit and were ample. Kim, the owner, was helpful, offering to refresh the room and suggesting places to eat or visit locally.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here--the hosts are warm and friendly, the room was tastefully decorated with interesting memorabilia, the homecooked breakfasts were spectacular, the wide variety of complimentary beverages was so appreciated, and we could not have dreamed of a better location for easy access to so many sites. We felt comfortable inviting our local daughter and her husband join us in the game room for a round of pool and a game of spades. This will be my first choice for accommodations on any future trip to Colorado.

Amazing location, great parking,, and the quietest coziest room. The helpful inn keeper was the most dedicated, proficient, and hepful I've e ever encountered. The Inn was constructed in a way where you don't hear others in your room and you can barely hear them as you pass by their rooms. No loud banging noises, doors close quietly, so peaceful!!! The hot tub on the balcony and fireplace were my favorites. I will definitley be booking again!!

My husband and I have enjoyed this B&B a few times. Monica and Tom are excellent hosts and the location is perfect for exploring restaurants and shops, while also being close to outdoor attractions. The rooms are each themed and offer great views but we think the biggest appeal is the service and welcoming atmosphere. We’re looking forward to visiting again.

We stayed at the old Town Guesthouse in the Victorian Rose, the room exceeded our expectations , and the host Tom and Monica treated as like long lost friends. and we left actual friends. One of the owners, Brandon was available for conversation a tour of his B&B. We enjoyed the new private hot tub for two on most of the balcony patios . The views to the west are fantastic this time of year! They let us now what some of the best attractions are and a few great places to eat, they even have a great farmers market a block away which runs through the summer months and ends mid October if you like playing billiards, they have a nice 9' table down in the "man" cave ( that area looks like would be comfortable for family reunions or other group gatherings!) if you Play a game of pool with Tom or Brandon, you may want to practice up a bit ;-)
Monica's freshly prepared breakfast was excellent.

First of all, the photos on the website do not begin to do justice to the Old Town Guest House from building itself to the rooms and the views from the rooms. The Guest House was built as a B&B and not simply an old house that has been carved into rooms. Each room has a different theme appointed with perfectly coordinated décor. It even has a conference/rec room great for meetings or a friendly game of pool. The Innkeepers, Monica and Tom, make you feel like a member of the family. Each breakfast was delicious and different each day. The location provides easy access to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and many nearby attractions.
