Property's Favorite Review
We came across St. Mary’s Inn in 2021 searching reviews here on Trip Advisor.
Reviews, Pictures made us book our stay for 6 nights in the Cherrywood Suite. Didn’t disappoint. Now in July 2024 we returned for another 6 night stay in the Cypress Suite. Innkeepers/Owners Pam & Jay make your stay ‘First Cabin’. Great attention to detail in the Charm quality of the rooms, surrounding sitting and community dining for Breakfast. Each morning is a well crafted culinary delight prepared by Jay, with help from Pam. So good we skipped Lunch, full until Dinner.
Great location allows for easy access to to walk or short drive to many Restaurants in the area. Looking forward to our next future visit!

We stayed here last week for my birthday, our first time here, and it was wonderful! We were in the Cypress Room. The owners were very welcoming and remembered that it was my birthday, which I'd mentioned when I called before arriving to ask for restaurant recommendations. The bed and bedding was very comfortable, and the towels were soft and fluffy. The room was spotlessly clean, large and comfortable and I appreciated all the provided amenities. Parking was easy, in the provided lot in the back. We were told to make ourselves at home in the Inn, which I definitely took advantage of after getting settled, with an afternoon coffee and snack on the beautiful front porch. Breakfast the following morning was so delicious! We'd definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at St. Mary's very much. It was a wonderful location with wonderful accommodations and a wonderful breakfast every morning. The owners of the B&B - Pam, Jay with their son Luke were also wonderful in making sure everyone had all they needed make their stay a pleasant experience. We highly recommend St. Mary's and if we are ever in Colorado Springs again, without hesitation, we would stay at St. Mary's.

Overall this inn was cute but I would never attempt to stay here again. First of all, our room (sycamore) was very cramped. I think it was a small room but it was also over decorated (e.g., lots of plastic fake wood things everywhere, large pieces of useless furniture). Second, the temp was not great. There’s a window unit and so all the mini rooms (e.g., area with the couch) were quite hot whereas the bed area was cold. Bathroom was tiny with virtually no counter space.
I wish I could comment on the breakfast but unfortunately we were asked to leave before we even were able to spend the night. After we finally settled in and unpacked after a long travel day, one of the owners took a look at my daughter and without even saying hello, told me “kids aren’t allowed.” When I explained that I booked on a 3rd party website and it didn’t say that (even pulling it up and showing the owner and her son) she said “it’s all over OUR website.” Obviously if you book on a 3rd party site you’re not really doing a deep dive into the website. Anyway we had prepaid for everything and the husband said “too bad that’s our policy and you can take it up with [3rd party].” The woman was annoyed that we were annoyed and loudly complained to her husband on the phone repeatedly as though we weren’t standing there. At the end of the day, despite them only having one other guest at the hotel, they kicked us out. We had to contact Expedia and urgently find a hotel for the night (it was already evening at this point) and were worried we’d have to spend the night in our car. If you’re going to have a policy that’s hostile to children then that should be in the first line of every description on a third party website. For example “This adult-only inn…” Overall it was a very upsetting situation and the lack of professionalism just took it to the next level. Absolutely terrible way to start a vacation.

The St Mary's Inn offers an adult only experience, with no children under the age of 16 allowed. The reviewer booked a suite for two adults, but arrived with a small child. We were unable to accomodate the guest stay due to our adults only commitment to our guests. We aided the reviewer in obtaining a full refund from their On-line Travel agent. We strongly discourage guests from booking only adults, arriving with small children, and expecting that exceptions will be made to the adult only policy.

We had a wonderful four nights at the Inn. The room on the first floor, king bed, was very comfortable. The large bathroom , well stocked with great amenities, was great.
The breakfast every morning was delicious! Fantastic fruit plate, presented artistically by Jay each morning was something to look forward to…. Not to mention the lightest pancakes ever!
Pam was so accommodating in every way. The owners Pam and Jay went out of their way to make all the guests feel comfortable.
We highly recommend this Inn. Location perfect. A short walk i to town.

This is how all B&B's should be...It was lovely.
Frmo the moment we arrived Pam & Jay made us feel extremely welcome. We stayed in "Cypress", which was a lovely room, plenty of space and an extremely comfortable bed.
Each morning Jay was in the kitchen creating amazing breakfasts which Pam served with to us with a huge smile to brighten up the start of the day...
The Inn is set in a quiet residential area, but only a couple of blocks from downtown, where there are loads of restaurants (our favourite was Bonny & Read).
Thank you so much for an amazing stay.

This B&B is in a lovely older home with lots of history, spacious common areas, well appointed rooms, great location, free on-site parking--pretty much everything a traveler would want. The icing is great breakfasts and charming, accommodating hosts! We truly enjoyed our stay. Can't think of a single complaint or missed touch.

We spent a night here while checking out Colorado College for my high-school student. Everyone was very nice, the room was clean (if a little funky), as was the bathroom. Breakfast looked good though we didn't have time for it unfortunately! Given the price, I would have appreciated a few more amenities on arrival, such as some fruit, crackers in the room for late travellers, more bottled water, and since there is a little fridge, some milk for tea or coffee. Also, the fan was VERY noisy so we had to turn it off to sleep -- and then it was suffocatingly hot. So we had to open the windows to breathe, then it was cold. This was in dead winter so the level of heat was controllable inside (but not by us, there was no way to regulate in the room.).

My husband and I wanted to find a special place to spend a weekend of
relaxation, sight seeing and warm hospitality. Luckily, the St. Marys Inn opened just in time for us to stay with them after closing for months because of the Corona virus.
The room we chose was perfect. There were lots of windows and a comfortable couch to make calls to our friends and family and enjoy a celebratory bottle of
champagne. Every morning we woke up to wonderful smells emanating from the kitchen which inspired us to get an earlier start on our day. St. Marys Inn exceeded
our expectations and we are looking forward to return visits.

Our family stayed in the 2-bedroom Ironwood Suite which was perfect for 4 family members. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The mattress is excellent.
A highlight of St. Mary's Inn is its wonderful owners, Pam and Jay. They are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. They provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and activities. And Jay cooks fantastic breakfasts! His blueberry waffles are so light and fluffy; I was not a fan of waffles before I tried Jay's ... then I ate two of them! On our 4th day there, he created a special breakfast for us so we didn't have to repeat what we had the previous days ... but each day's breakfast was so good, we wouldn't have minded repeating them!
We highly recommend St. Mary's Inn when you are in Colorado Springs!
