Beautiful views, beautiful atmosphere, beautiful resort, beautiful cabin 313. We accidentally stumbled upon the resort looking for a stop between Big Sky and Texas. What a wonderful surprise and much needed retreat! Amazing view of the Garden of the Gods! We are looking forward to our dinner reservation this evening.
I came with my husband on a business trip to Colorado Springs and we wanted to do some exploring in between his work commitments. We discovered Garden of the Gods Resort & Club online and decided to have dinner at the Grand View Dining Room. From the minute we pulled into valet we were given the warmest welcome and escorted to the dining area patio that overlooked a breathtaking, sunset view of Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak mountain range. The cocktails, wine, food and service were on par with the gorgeous surroundings. We are so impressed that we decided to come back the following day to take an e-bike tour through Garden of the Gods. When we returned the following morning, we were again greeted with the warmest hospitality. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up and we missed taking off with our originally scheduled e-bike group tour. Upon hearing this, Sara (GoG Resort Concierge) and Willie (GoG Resort Outfitters) jumped in action to help us. Willie was able to secure another e-bike guide (Everett of Pikes Peak Bike Tours) and he was onsite to take us on a personalized tour in less than 30mins. Talk about first class service and hospitality…everyone went over and beyond to ensure we had the best experience! I only wish there was a way to give more than 5 stars. My husband and I are already excited to come back to Colorado so we can stay at the Garden of the Gods Resort & Club because they far exceeded every expectation and gave us memories that will last a lifetime.…
Had an amazing overall experience at Garden of the Gods Resort and the Grand View Restaurant. Their hospitality, the amenities and especially their accommodations with the view was the highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs. This resort is a must stay if you're in the area.
Garden of the Gods Resort is a must stay! The ambiance, resort staff and accommodations are impeccable. Not to mention the views! There is so much to do in the surrounding area as well as the resort has great amenities.
We celebrated my parents 70th Wedding Anniversary at the Garden of the Gods Resort Grand View Dining Room. We went to the Sunday buffet and the food was very disappointing. The salmon was so dry I couldn't swallow it, and the ham was so tough that no one could eat it. I will say the shrimp and prime rib was delicious. The staff was pleasant but unattentive (we had a party of 12) - for the price, we were all very disappointed in both food quality and service.
We were greeted by Rebecca (front desk) who made us feel so taken care of. They even gave our 9-month old a souvenir backpack! The separate bedroom in the cottage suite allowed our baby to sleep (in a pack and play provided by resort) and freed us up to sit by the fire without disturbing his sleep. Sarah (concierge) called prior to our stay and was such a joy to talk to. She helped make sure we had what we needed prior to arrival. The resort is just a couple minutes drive from the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center. We couldn't have asked for a better experience for our baby's first Colorado trip.
Very disappointed in our stay. The property is very nice with beautiful views. Unfortunately, the decision by management to rent out casitas in a construction zone completely ruined our stay. Heavy construction was taking place right outside the bedroom window of our casita. We were not given any advance notice of this either when booking, at check-in, or at any point during our stay. Non-stop jack-hammers, heavy loaders ripping up and moving concrete, and construction crews yelling did not allow us to use the outside patio of the casita at all, and completely ruined the advertised "relaxing" atmosphere during our stay. In addition, we were called by the front desk on our last full day and asked to vacate the casita for 3 hours so that they could come in and "perform maintenance". When asked if it was absolutely necessary, or if it could wait until the next day after we checked out, they reluctantly agreed it could wait. Finally, upon check-out, we discovered we had been charged a room rate that was substantially higher than the rate we had confirmed. After multiple phone calls and emails proving the confirmed rate, the rate was adjusted. If you are looking for a luxury experience in Colorado Springs, I would have to recommend the Broadmoor over this place due to their completely lack of caring about their guest experience. Too bad, as it had great potential.…
Unbelievable place. Rooms were huge and well done, staff were beyond helpful. I was busy with the conference so didn't get to use the other amenities. I was there for a conference and want to now go with my husband!
The view is literally phenomenal, so if you're willing to pay almost $1000/night for it, then this may be your place. Unfortunately the resort accommodations and service don't come close to their five-star setting. Our room was dark and dated, and the service at The Rocks was among the worst I've encountered in my 50+ years. No one seemed to know what they were doing, orders were taken but not entered, food (when we got it which only happened at one meal) was mediocre at best. Canned black beans, overcooked fish, floppy, undercooked bacon etc. At both breakfast and dinner, a staff person eventually stopped by and in a creepy, overly nice way, offered us something for free to make up for the dismal experience. It always seemed too little, too late, particularly at breakfast which we never ended up eating because our food was so late, causing us to nearly miss our flight and go until late afternoon with no food. If you're in Colorado Springs, hike the park or stop by the overlook for a photo op, but stay elsewhere.…
Love this place! The concierge took great care of us for a spur of the moment (short notice) trip. Great staff, AWESOME views and great food!! We will definitely stay at Garden of the Gods Resort and Spa again!
