Upon our arrival, we proceeded to the reception desk to present ourselves. The courteous personnel at the front desk facilitated a prompt check-in and provided us with wristbands for access to the dry attractions (bowling, rope courses, miniature golf, rock climbing) and the indoor waterpark. There is also an arcade where one can accumulate points in exchange for a variety of prices. The cost of the arcade is shown in my photos. Most of the games cost 11 credits. The dry attractions and the arcade are open til 10 pm.

Ample parking spaces were available for a fee of $15.

The lobby area was spacious and bustling with children and various activities.

There are several restaurants located within the facility for your convenience.

Towels are provided by the wave pool. Wristbands are required to enter the pool area.

Several shower stalls, each equipped with foaming soap dispensers, are available for use. Additionally, a spinner is provided to remove excess water from swimsuits.

The waterpark operates until 8 pm and appears to be adequately heated. It features a variety of slides, water play areas, pools, a wave pool, and a shallow pool for toddlers, providing ample recreational opportunities.

The hotel is conveniently situated, allowing for easy access to various dining options within a short driving distance.

In conclusion, I recommend securing your reservation in advance to avail the most favorable rates.

Wishing you a successful and enjoyable vacation.

Best Family Getaway Experience. The family and I had come here as the initial catcher was it was a water park attraction as both our kids enjoy being in the water. When we arrived we had received so much more not only were there different activities to do at the water park for various ages, but they also had non-water activities that they can enjoy doing. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay and were impressed by how the staff ran the facilities smoothly and professionally we plan on continuing to come in the future stays.

Just returned from GWL two days in the waterpark area one night in the hotel. We were a party of 9, 4 adults and 5 kids age 8 to 15. The Hotel was very nice one of two rooms was available at check in (1pm) the second room right next door, about 30 minutes later. Rooms very nice and clean comfortable size. Two queen beds and a fold out couch. We were able to use the water park at arrival very nice for an indoor waterpark, wave pool and a variety of slides. All the kids had a great time in the wave pools and on the slides. Chairs were hard to find and their very short. (hard to get out of) all of this was good and as expected. Although we were prepared for high prices. (captive audience) prices were still shocking $8. for a kids sized drink at the pool. Personal pizza and a drink $12.99. Breakfast for 3 teen girls at the on site Dunkin Donuts was just over $50. nothing excessive other then the price. They do make it very convenient to charge things to the room or you must use credit card no cash accepted. The good, the staff is not expecting a TIP. There is a good selection of restaurants in the area with good food at reasonable prices. If we return in the future we will pack a cooler with food and drinks, there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Our time at the Great Wolf Lodge was short but very expensive, we did enjoy ourselves and the kids all had a good time.

Having to leave a bad review makes me really sick. We were looking forward to this stay. First the positive, it is in a great location . The waterpark is perfect for kids of all ages. There are several restaurants inside, Magiquest, and other fun things. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. However, the bad… paying premium prices you expect premium service. The air conditioning did not work in our room. We realized this around 9pm when it never cooled off. My husband reported this. They sent someone to fix it. They “pretended” to fix it. We ended up having to get a fan. An hour or 2 later, a burning , rotten smell began to leak into the room. My husband calls them again. They come back and say that it is way hotter than the hallway as they begin to “fix” the problem. I overheard something about lime in the pipes or something causing the smell. They “fixed” the issue and left. The smell took forever to go away… the air still did not work properly.. and what should have been the restful night we paid for turned into only a few hours of sleep. No offer to move rooms. We had a 12 hour drive the next day and this was suppose to be our enjoyable stop. The next day, we notice a $60 charge we were not expecting. The 3 towels that my children used at the pool.. and returned.. were charged as if we took them. My husband called, gave the time stamp of when he returned the towels so they could look on the video…he even scanned his bracelet. They are suppose to be looking into the matter.
You will be charged for parking as well.
I would not recommend this hotel and we, who travel often, will not stay here again.

To answer questions I had before going, but could not find clear information on: this hotel does not have a hot tub or a gym.

The good:
- Upon check-in, guests are assigned a chipped wristband. This serves as your room key, access to various services, and a means of charging to your room.
- There are plenty of available activities on-site.
- The buffet food is pretty good with nice variety.
- The housekeeping staff are wonderful. Polite, responsive, and keep the facility very clean.
- Location conveniently near I-25.
- Scenic with beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains.
- There are lots of outside dining and shopping options very close by.
- Rooms are equipped with refrigerators and microwaves, providing opportunity to stock up on healthy groceries and saving you $$$.
- Rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable.

The bad:
- This place is a money-suck. Everywhere you turn, stuff costs extra, and everything is overpriced. Never felt like I was getting a deal anywhere. (A regular beer will cost you $8-$10/ea, depending on type.) At least the wrist band made flushing all of my money easy.
- Elevators... There are 3 for a hotel that should have 6. Of those 3, only 2 were operable during our 4-night stay. Waits for the elevator were beyond rediculous and we ended up using the stairs 90% of the time, even when hauling luggage. Fortunately, all of our party were able-bodied, but anyone reliant on the elevators must have had a miserable and inconvenient stay.
- Everything felt consistently overcrowded. The parking lots were regularly at capacity, the water park was jam-packed, lines were long, patrons were consistently irritable with the situation.

Bottom line:
The Great Wolf Lodge is a great place for families with kids 10 and under. If you like the Disneyland experience, it's probably up your alley. Bring your patience and a willingness to spend for overpriced extras at every turn. The staff were all great and seemed to care about giving the customers a positive experience. Overall it's an all-in-one family fun park probably best suited for a 2-night stay.

I so badly wanted to love this because I have heard such amazing things about it. We booked a fairly last-minute trip here a couple of days ago and noticed there was actually a discount that was available. So, what better time to book, the discount made our booking about 35.00 cheaper which seemed significant. After going to the checkout to pay for our one night stay the total then jumped back up almost 40.00. The extra 40.00 charge that increased the bill was for taxes and resort fees. Thats fine I guess but seems like a steep charge for an already expensive stay. Upon arrival there was a huge line that was moving extremely slow, making our total wait time almost 35 minutes. I know that may not sound like a lot but in the grand scheme of things when you know you consistently have a high volume of customers (I know this because during our 24 hours here the line was so long a huge amount of that time) efficiency is super important. Not to mention this was a Sunday so in theory you would think this would have been a "slower" time for check ins. I can't imagine what the line is like on a mid-weekday or a Friday or Saturday. I was also bummed that after I waited almost 20 minutes in line, I reached a sign that said I could do a mobile or express check in at one of their machines. That would have been great to know from the moment I walked in the door. It seemed as if no one knew this machine was there except for one other family that had used it at the time I was waiting in the line. After getting to the front desk the lady checked us in then said that we didn't pay for parking???? I asked we have to pay $15.00 for parking. That seems so outrageous when we already paid for our resort fees etc. I could understand that charge for the customers who are coming just for the pool use. But not for your customers who are already paying a resort fee. The pool was fun, the bleach was so strong that the fumes made my eyes burn almost immediately upon entering the pool area, but other than that it was fine. The adventure park is much smaller than I anticipated and with a 3-year-old there was a plethora of activities he could not participate in which was a bummer but really, they should just have more activities for kids of all ages if possible. There was a mixture of options for food but not many or any healthy, organic, or dairy free options (ice cream). Overall, for our 24ish hour stay we spent almost $700.00 by the time we did the arcade add Ons, build a bear etc. With that being said I would have definitely chosen to do the upgraded package and that likely would've saved us a couple hundred dollars. Uncertain if we will go back but we were able to create some memories. I think for the price I would probably choose to go on a trip to the beach and spend a few hundred more since we weren't far off cost wise on what we could've spend on a family beach trip.

We stayed in a queen room with a queen sofa bed for New Years Eve 2024. The sofa bed in the first room we were given smelled so strongly of pee that we could not stay there and had to request a new room. The second room did not smell, but there was dried poop on the folded blanket in the closet and poop smeared on the mattress protector on the fold out sofa. They offered to bring us a new mattress protector and blanket, but should have replaced all of the linens in the room. Housekeeping has failed at this property.

We complained and our 5 text complaint’s were ignored until I made a stink about it. This was our 7th stay at this Great Wolf lodge, and might be our last. Having clean linens and responsive customer service should be expected, regardless of how busy they are on a given night.

The hotel rooms where not as clean as they should have been. Dirty vents. Balcony Windows are filthy and gross. Also, there is no housekeeping during your stay. You will need to put your trash outside the door and ask for more towels and bedsheets to be put on the floor outside of your room. Housekeeping will not enter your room to clean during your stay no matter how long you are staying. Will not go back to this location. Also, the ladies in build a bear are not nice. Why do something you hate? Ben and Jerry’s also ran out of ice cream and we were not able to fulfill our pup passes. I feel like this location is just no good, especially for the prices I paid. Do better!

We only had 2 days available off, so we booked Tuesday and \Wednesday, best prices of the week and less people overall in all areas. Recommend the Dunkin donuts shop for breakfast. The room was very comfortable and spacious, clean , coffee, microwave and mini fridge to keep any beverage cold and leftover food ready to be eaten later (amazing), especially if you travel with little ones.. The staff were amazing, helpful, friendly , and respectful (most of them very young by the way which is great), because less people were at the park the wait times was minimum but all the "rides" were great, you can do them alone of in a group setting. They keep strict look at the children's requirements to be in the different areas and the lifeguards are always vigilant and professional. I will go again and will stay longer but within the middle of the week for better prices, they allow you to stay on your checkout day until 8:00 pm in the waterpark if you choose too, which works if you , like us, have a hyperactive child having a great time. Would recommend it , no need to leave the premises to look for good food. It isn't cheap but it is worth it for convenience and the quality is good.

We've stayed at three lodges over the 10ish years. This location is not as "lodge designed" as the others but still nice hotel. Water park seemed smaller than the others but also everything is inside, from pool areas to ropes course, miniature golf, etc. May call and ask about booking over the phone. Did not inquire but we received an email after we booked about $99 for an additional night and also heard a few adding a night onto their stay for that price.

Pros:
Attentive : plenty of lifeguards, text service if need something for room and good response time.
PLENTY to do : could get trapped doing everything and not explore much of Colorado
Clean :
Location Access : Didn't eat at the hotel, but there are plenty of places to eat that are easy to get to via a short drive. Also, easy highway access to get to areas to explore, Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, etc.

Cons:
Elevator to Floor Ratio (3 to 10) : ask for a lower floor or prepare for full elevators with multiple stops.
Arcade: Fun but expensive (prices go up sometime late in the afternoon evening) Also there's no Great Wolf items to select from
Seating in the waterpark : didn't price but renting a cabana maybe worth it if staying in the waterpark for hours at a time. There is additional seating but good luck finding a table that people "claim" by leaving towels or drinks on. We'd set our stuff in an open chair so that wasn't a problem for us.
