Such a great stay at boutique bungalows. So close to the beach, so much wildlife around the property and amazing facilities. Each room/bungalow is private and is well equipped with a bbq, small washing machine, lounge area, extremely comfortable bed and more. The pool is beautiful at night time with twinkle lights. The owners are so great and also run a wildlife rescue so if your interested in animals they are great to talk to. Will 100% recommend to friends and will be returning on my next visit to mission beach!

We have just spent 3 wonderful nights here and even though the cold snap was bad we were cosy and warm in our bungalow. The property is a rainforest heaven with wildlife all around including cassowary and chick. The bungalow was well equiped with all you could need and very clean. There was a bowl of fruit and breakfast goodies on arrival more than enough and a nice thought something we have not had in other places we have stayed. Our room was made up every other day a nice extra little something we did not expect. There is a lovely deck to sit and watch the passing wildlife and to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the property.
The owners Steve and Sharon are lovely and have taken every care to make sure your stay is comfortable. they also take care of wildlife and are only too happy to chat about it if you are interested. we will most certainly return soon.

Wonderful B&B, beautiful clean bungalows with very comfortable beds and furnishings, set in an amazing rainforest garden. Steve, Sharon and family were very friendly and helpful hosts. Great egg and bacon breakfasts served under the verandah next to the pool. Sharon is a wildlife carer and would bring out her baby wallaby for us to cuddle. Then every afternoon Sharon would greet us with a delicious freshly baked caked. North Queensland is renowned for its beautiful butterflies and I was thrilled to see two of it's best, the Ulysses and the Birdwing, here at Boutique Bungalows. Several nearby restaurants offer a courtesy bus but having a car does give you more options. Wonderful stay and the weather didn't matter, we enjoyed swimming in the rain in this beautiful garden as much as the sun.

Beautiful and clean, but we did not feel very welcome after the second time. Future guests beware! If you go with friends and book 2 bungalows, after 6:00pm you are not allowed to quietly drink a glass of wine together on each other's verandah. Also, anyone under the age of 18 is again not allowed to literally "set foot" on the property and a big fuss is made about it. It's not even a question of rowdy children, this was a 16 year old young lady who wanted to briefly drop in (30min at most). If you are willing to accept to be treated this way, you will definitely enjoy the place!

This B&B is spectacular. After a week of tent camping at Kakadu and Daintree National Parks, my wife and I needed a place to recharge our batteries. Boutique Bungalows turned out to be the perfect spot. The three bungalows are spaced far apart and the tropical ferns along the garden path ensure you have complete privacy during your stay. Our bungalow had an excellent king bed, a large bathroom, lots of windows and light, a couch, a TV and DVD player (free DVDs are available for borrowing), and lots of little B&B amenities like a toaster, a water heater, a microwave, plates, cutlery, etc. The blue-themed art and wall accents are quite stylish! Our bungalow also had a large porch where could relax and read books in the sun.

Breakfast was great as well -- a delicious assortment of eggs, bacon, pastries, cereals, yogurts, coffee and teas. The only thing better were the home-baked goods that Sharon prepares daily! Actually, cuddling with their baby wallaby is pretty awesome too. Everything about this B&B is kind of amazing.

The B&B is a 5-minute walk to Wongaling Beach, which might be the best beach in the greater Mission Beach area. It's a long walk (~20 minutes) to some of the nearby restaurants, so having a car definitely helps. Steve and Sharon have a binder in each bungalow with all the local menus included, so it's easy to choose a place to eat. (FYI, the best meal we had during our stay was at The Sand Bar in downtown Mission Beach.)

Steve and Sharon are incredibly friendly and made us feel at home right away. It was by far the best place we stayed during our Australia trip. Do yourself a favor and stay here when you're in Mission Beach!

We planned to stay just for one night, but as soon as we arrived we decided to stay two. This is an amazing place, so beautiful! Steve, Sharon and their family made our stay even better by giving it a personal touch. They were incredible hosts. If we would live a little bit closer we would definitely stay here more often!

My husband and I spent two nights at this property and had a wonderful time. We are not great fans of traditional bed and breakfasts as we do not like being in other people's houses. But this place was amazing, in that we had the privacy of having our own bungalow but with the warmth of fantastic hosts in Steve and Sharon. They supplied us with enormous breakfasts, afternoon tea, a pool, advice on where to go and what to see, as well as an amazingly clean, cosy and delightful place to sleep and relax. And to top it all of it is all located in the middle of the rain forest.
Mission Beach is quite spread out so a car is necessary if you want to see the area.

This was truly a great place to stay. Not only were hosts Steve and Sharon friendly, but they also cooked filling breakfasts and magnificent afternoon teas of home made cakes like the delectable pineapple and coconut cake. They also gave us a daily itinerary of places to visit and attractions to see. With a comfortable room and hot shower and bath, with privacy, peace and quiet, it is the perfect place to stay.

The Boutique Bungalows would be worth a visit even without staying there over night. The beautiful oasis with a pool in the middle and the wildlife are an experience in itself, spending the night in one of the bungalows in this environment is like a dream! The owners are very friendly and helpful when it came to planing our trip further north, and the welcome-cake was just great. I can highly recommend this place.
