    Great Location but lacking amenities

    I am unfamiliar with accessible rooms so I cannot answer. If you call Crystal Peak lodge they can tell you. Enjoy, it's a nice property!

    We're going next month and wondering if it's better to stay at Crystal Peak or closer to Peak 9/in-town for the summer. What are the benefits to staying near the gondola for the summer? Thanks
    We have shuttles into town from Crystal Peak Lodge but walking into town is not really feasible. At Crystal Peak you would be very close to Peak 8 and Epic Discovery. From Peak 9 you can walk into town but would have to take a shuttle up to the Epic Discovery activities at Peak 8, so all depends on your priorities.

    Is their an equipment rental shop located on the property? Do they rent googles as well?
    Yes there is. My husband arranged his rental ahead of time and they had everything ready for him when he arrived. You can buy goggles in the ski shop (in the same room as the rental shop) but I don't know if you can rent goggles. My husband brought his own helmet too, so don't know if you can rent helmets. You can call the ski/rental shop though, and they will answer all your questions. They were very helpful and friendly.

    We will be spending Christmas in Crystal Peak Lodge and will use shuttle service from Denver airport (i. e won't have a car in Breckenridge). Will Breckconnect and crystal peaks own shuttle buses operate during Christmas and what are the hours of operation? Thanks!
    Yes, there is a shared on-call shuttle that runs from 7 AM to about midnight each night and the gondola will also run from 8 AM to 5 PM during that time as well. We look forward to welcoming you to Crystal Peak Lodge in December.

    I need to know if there is an easy access to the ski school for my kids who have never skied before. They are 6 and 9 years old.
    Yes! Crystal Peak Lodge is an easy gondola ride away to Peak 8 and no more than a 5 minute rides. Take the gondola from Peak 7, Crystal Peak Lodge to Peak 8 and ski school is at the base of Peak 8. We look forward to seeing you soon.
