This small boutique hotel in West Hollywood is friendly, safe, comfortable, interesting, convenient and has almost everything you need. Everyone who works there is accommodating and helpful - we needed extra towels and tp and it was brought to us immediately, on two separate occasions. The rooms are amazingly large and comfortable and I really appreciated that the bathroom had a separate shower area so that others in my party (partner and 2 teens) could wash their hands or apply makeup at the same time. As others note, it is odd that there is a full kitchen with no utensils or plates, but we scored some from the restaurant and used them in our room. The location of this hotel is fantastic - within walking distance to cool cafes on Melrose (Urth and Zinc) and Santa Monica Blvd. Even a walk in the neighborhood is fun, and it makes you feel as if you live in LA. Parking was a breeze. We reserved a spot underneath the hotel online before arrival and could come and go as we pleased. The rooftop pool area is lovely but I was disappointed that the bar was not open, (only open in summer), and the pool's heater was apparently broken. But the hotel's restaurant, although small, is good, and I took my glass of wine (free between 5pm-6pm each day, poured by the nicest man from Eastern Europe) and my delicious Caesar salad to the rooftop and enjoyed it in the sunshine. For sure I'd recommend Le Parc at Melrose to anyone who is visiting LA! Our entire family loved it.

First thing to say is this is NOT just a hotel, its lots of spacious suites which are more like little apartments in a good quiet location in WeHo. The staff are very friendly, courteous and efficient and are very helpful.
This was my second stay this year for 10 nights and I loved every minute of it. I decided to stay in and cook for a few nights as there was a good fridge, microwave and 2 electric hobs, one call to reception and a box of kitchen supplies was delivered. Toaster, plates, cutlery, pans etc and most importantly for an Englishman was a kettle for my tea!
Le Parc has very good eco credentials, there's no daily room clean or bed change but towels can be changed if asked. As I'm quite independent I managed to find some recycling bins so my glass, plastic and cardboard went in there. Worth noting there are laundry facilities under the the hotel which are quite cheap but they do do a service wash too.
On the roof you'll find a small pool and bar and tennis courts, there is also a gym in the hotel. There is a small restaurant and bar, I never ate there but did prop up the bar on a few nights!
There is a small business centre which was free to use and Local & U.S. domestic long distance phone calls are included as is a reasonably fast wifi connection.
Hopefully my work or holiday will bring me back soon.
The question you should as yourself is why pay for a hotel when you can have an apartment?

Enjoyed our stay at Le Parc. The room was very spacious with contemporary decor. The bathrooms are nice and grateful for the large lighted mirror seating area outside of the main bathroom so two people can get ready at once. The hotel is located in a very safe, walkable area with Urth Caffee and several other restaurants and shops close by. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend paying for the upgrade to the top floor, as it can be very noisy depending on who stays in the room above you. We must have had a dog upstairs as we heard lots of activity upstairs during our stay. Overall, a great stay and will likely return with the upgrade to the top floor.

The hotel has Apartment sized rooms so lots of space, although could do with a little more lighting as sometimes it was quite dark. The hotel is in a residential area so nice and quiet, but I felt that it lacked atmosphere because of its location. The shops and cafes on Melrose Ave and Santa Monica boulevard are all in walking distance.
Apart from the lady who checked us in, who was not very welcoming, all the staff we came across were lovely. So friendly and helpful, always stopped to have a chat.
The room we had was great and well laid out, the was a dressing room area with dressing table so easy to sit and get ready. My only complaint about the room was the shower, the water pressure was terrible and the water didn’t get hot, it was barely warm.
We stayed over Christmas & were disappointed to find that the restaurant would be closed on Christmas Day, this meant we could not get breakfast… We were not told this before or during the checkin process, we only knew because we saw a sign in the hotel the day before. All of the restaurants and cafes around the hotel were closed also and anywhere that was open was already booked up. More notice should have been given about the closure of the restaurant
The rooftop has a pool and bar area as well as a tennis court. Also has great views!

The hotel is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, which means that to reach any type of service (market, restaurants, bus stop...) it was necessary to walk about 10/15 minutes on foot. The suite is really huge: balcony, kitchenette, living area, walk-in closet, but for a 4 star hotel, this is not enough. Upon our arrival, the room was only equipped for two guests and not three, so the staff immediately worked to prepare the third bed and bring more towels. After our first day around LA, when we returned to our room, we noticed with great amazement that it had not been tidied up. When we went down to reception they told us that we should have requested it in the morning! Honestly, something like this has never happened to me! It could also be a policy with its own logic, but it would have been appreciated to have said so at check-in! Among other things, there were no signs in the room to hang outside the door so as not to disturb or to make up the room. The courtesy kit is lacking: only shampoo, shower gel, body cream and conditioner are present. On the last evening, upon our return to the room, we noticed that everything had been tidied up (bathroom cleaned, rubbish removed...), but they hadn't made my daughter's bed! We flew over and she still slept! On the roof there is a small swimming pool, where you can find towels, sun creams and aloe available to guests (a very welcome service). The beds and sofas could have needed a deep clean! We also took advantage of another service made available: breakfast. A good breakfast, but with really embarrassing prices even by American standards (cappuccino 7 dollars; empty croissant 7 dollars; two slices of toast with two sticks of butter 6 dollars). The staff is very friendly and, during breakfast, seeing that we had run out of butter, brought more. The hotel has great potential, but it has not been fully exploited.

5/5 Accommodating, pleasant, friendly, clean, well appointed venue with very helpful staff in excellent location in West Hollywood. There is a rooftop pool, tennis court, and an excellent third floor restaurant. There’s parking on site. On request, the kitchen is supplied with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans as well as paper towels , and dishwasher soap. There is a microwave and refrigerator. Also bedside Internet Access ports and electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. A television in the living area and the bedroom area, an outdoor balcony and an effective HVAC mini split. There’s also free Wi-Fi. I have stayed here for years and have never been disappointed.

We spent 6 nights here as a family of 4 (1 teen, 1 tween). We had the 2 queen suite and it was a really great space. 2 queen beds and a large sofa bed. and a balcony. Having the kitchenette was ideal ( you do need to request the plates and cutlery etc).
Lovely hotel amenities - we used the rooftop pool and ordered food there. We did have breakfast in the restaurant one morning which was great and good portions. They have a self serve laundry which we did use a couple of times, machine takes quarters (there is a change machine).
Location is perfect. It’s a nice quiet residential street - lots of sweet looking houses and the type of place people like to walk their dogs or go for a run. We didn’t have a car but it’s only 5 min walk from Santa Monica Blvd for catching buses (or in the other direction for Melrose Ave/ Fairfax). Trader Joes is opposite the bus stop on Santa Monica Blvd to get some supplies or a takeaway pizza which we did.
We only realised on the last day that if you head towards Melrose Ave and turn right there’s nice little places to eat (seem quite reasonable) and a little further along there’s a park if you want somewhere for your kids to run around.
Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you, we would recommend.

Nice spacious, clean room. Some parts like the bathroom and kitchen area quite small and dated but generally served us well for our 3 night stay. Would recommend upgrading room - we were on the top floor and noise was minimal but have heard the lower floors can be very noisy. Gym facilities are not really mentioned on the aparthotel’s website but pretty good relative to how small a complex it is - there’s even a peloton bike in there! Pool area very lovely to chill with some good views out over the hill, not really a ‘proper’ pool for actual swimming though. Only major criticism I’d have is that on arrival, the hotel charged us the full fee despite us having paid already via booking.com. They were quite dismissive and just told us we have to pay then take it up with booking.com. Fortunately booking.com were more receptive, although we did spend our 3 days there trying to resolve this issue with back and forth between the hotel and online booking provider- would recommend to Parc at Melrose management team that they put better measures in place to prevent this happening to other guests as it put a real dampener on our stay from the beginning.

Kirsty, It's great to hear that you enjoyed the spacious, clean room and appreciated the amenities like the gym and rooftop pool at Le Parc at Melrose. It’s unfortunate, however, that the issue with double payment caused frustration during your stay. That’s definitely not the kind of experience anyone hopes for when on a getaway. We appreciate your candid feedback and we hope to welcome you back so we can make this up to you!

We loved our short stay at Le Parc. Fun decor, super clean, spacious rooms, warm accommodating and friendly service, rooftop pool with fun hang out couch areas was expensive use of Los Angeles in the Hollywood hills where we had brunch after a dip in the water in our robes from the hotel's lovely restaurant. Just a one block tree line quiet residential street walk to Melrose, where you can shop, grab a coffee or eat just about anything you desire. It was nice to feel like you were in a neighborhood and still have quick access ability to commerce and activity. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I've been staying at the Le Parc for almost 25 years, consistently. I've been through several ownerships during that time. I have to say, my most recent stay was excellent. I find the staff to be completely professional, the hotel is immaculate, and we used the roof deck pool area a few times, and it was delightful. We were not told about the on-request housekeeping feature on check-in, but the room was made up when we asked, and it wasn't an issue going forward. The rooms are quite large, the location cannot be beat, and the price is reasonable. I highly recommend Le Parc to anyone considering it.
