We stayed here for just one night because we were flying out the next day. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Close to the airport. Although not close to downtown SF, there are shops and restaurants nearby. So many outlets! Plugs galore! Charge to your hearts content! Lots of pillows and towels. Great water pressure. Super friendly staff. Very clean. Cons: No business center. I usually don't need it but I did on this trip they they didn't have one. Just an iPad in the lobby. Breakfast cost $15 per person but it was no better than the included breakfast at any other Hilton brand and there were no waffles anyway. It was fine but not a $15 breakfast. The toiletries are the kind bolted to the wall. I prefer the individual ones.
I checked in late and was greeted by the front desk clerk (I think chinese) super sweet! I had a top floor room it was clean, sanitized with kitchenette. Had no room cleaning but when I needed towels, toiletries it was a simple call and they delivered or I went down for pick up. Upon check out Mark another front desk clerk super nice guy helped me with an oversight and resolution in my favor😃 Customer service alone I’d recommend this Hilton again.
We had family stay here for a few nights as they were flying in from overseas and we needed a place for them. Hotel is safe, clean, and has the amenities you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Definitely not fancy but it served its purpose. Just note there isn't a whole lot around the hotel in terms of restaurants and shops. You can walk to a few gas stations and some fast food joints. The staff were friendly and let me check in several hours earlier than intended. The hotel served the purpose we needed it to. One knock on the hotel is that room cleaning is by request only and you need to give 24 h notice. Since we are 2 + years into the pandemic you would expect this to have been resolved / made easier. Equivalent hotels nearby do offer regular room cleaning.
I would like to be contacted in regards to my stay in SF. My significant other and I were out on our anniversary during this stay. We had an EXTREMELY busy week and looked forward to having some good rest especially considering it was our first ‘parent night out’ without children in years! We stayed one night and was told check out was at 11. We planned our next day accordingly but unfortunately the housekeeper had other plans. We were woken at 8:30am!!!!!!! We we sounds asleep and startled that someone was knocking. We could hear the housekeeper going to every room on our floor!!!!! We never answered the door and I called the front desk to confirm checkout time. At the time of check out I let the front desk know it was very unacceptable for staff to be knocking on our door. I was told it was to check to see if we had checked out!!!!! At 830 am!? Let’s just say we didn’t get our rest, started the day with headaches and didn’t have a pleasant stay due to this interruption.…
The name deceives us, reached around 8:00pm very unfriendly staff, she just needed me to show my I’d and then pay for the hotel. Nothing explained even when asked she just not in a mood to serve. House keeping needs to be booked 24 hrs ahead, the corridor lift super unclean, the rooms are not as shown in picture, too old fashioned rooms, toilets too low for not up to the mark.At the corridor there is carpet that’s even worse super dirty. Bathroom towels with lipstick mark not washed well. Definitely not worth the price at all. Biggest disappointment.
We had our wedding not far from this Hilton Garden Inn. The staff were accommodating and efficient! Our whole bridal party, friends and family stayed here. They offered great suggestions and options for our gatherings before the wedding. Everyone was friendly and kind!
I stayed here for one night because of it's proximity to SFO and based on reviews I read here and elsewhere. I have to say I have never been so eager to check out. The hotel is very very worn down and dirty. The common areas are extremely dirty. The carpet on the 7th floor leading to my room is coming up and dirty. The carpet in my room was dirty and worn. I thought about leaving, but it was late and I did not have the energy to start looking for a new hotel. I cannot stress enough, this hotel needs a deep clean and a makeover . There are other hotel options in the area that might be better.
I had a good stay, the hotel was convenient and room very clean, the paid breakfast can be better with more variety but what they had was good… been that I came from out of town I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay to park at the hotel’s parking lot.
This property is on the old side and could use an immediate update. Walking down the hallway you'd think it was decent. However, upon entering the room you'll see that the room is a time capsule from the late 90s! The plastic of the phone had turned yellow (or is it actually yellow? I don't know...) Walls are very plain with lots of empty space. Adding some art or color above the bed would help some. In my room (a regular king room) the wood flooring at the entrance was beat. The molding that broke up the flooring and carpet was beat and was starting to come up and apart. The bed was springy, not for me. Pillows were kind of weird as well. The extra lock on the door had a loose screw. Views were of a parking lot, so don't expect to see the bay, even from the 6th floor. As I was on a business trip, I didn't spend much time in the hotel (I guess it turned out to be a good thing). I literally got there, showered, went to bed, and checked out in the AM. Can't say I'd really be back at this property until it goes through some renovation. I can't justify spending $250 for a room here.…
As other reviewers have said, we found this hotel to be a little worn down. Nevertheless, our room was clean and comfortable and all the people we encountered at the desk were helpful and friendly. However, getting food in this area was a real challenge. Usually airport hotels have lots of choices of both fast food and restaurants, but the offerings in this location are minimal. It compounded our disappointment to learn the hotel's restaurant was only open certain days. The cook-to-order breakfast that HGIs usually offer was totally missing, since the restaurant was closed on the two mornings we were there. I did not see this ANYWHERE on the website or would certainly have chosen a different hotel. Even though we had a car, there did not seem to be many places to eat; several we might have gone to were closed. There are several other hotels, even in the Hilton family, close by. I'd suggest picking one of them.…
