We were there in Danville for a family function in Dec, 2021. We have booked several rooms at Sonesta Select for staying at night for our guests. I also stayed for more than 5 nights here. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They have provided coffee maker, steam iron and other necessary utility items in the room. Due to Covid, room cleaning services were on booking for next day. We did not use their restaurant and other facilities. Good place to stay at reasonable cost.

I was in San Ramon last week to run a college ID camp for San Ramon FC and as their preferred hotel I stayed here for five nights. In addition, we had several college coaches stay at this property. I wanted to take the time to say, that not only were the high expectations and standards of Marriott kept but the employees and service we experienced were exceptional. From the planning stages to the end of our stay everything was great. Thank you to the entire staff of the Courtyard by Marriott San Ramon.

I enjoyed my stay, large room and very clean. Easy to find. Never saw housekeeping but didn't need them. The room was loud, freeway very close so traffic all might. The lobby and front desk next to bar with no separation. Interesting to try and do business at the front desk in evening with the din of the large crowd in the bar. I mentioned it and staff said it didn't bother them but then could not hear each other as we discussed my question. They smiled and said, I get your point. I would stay here again but not ideal.

I’ve stayed at many Courtyards and this one is the worst. Feels like an older property, it is definitely not as nice as other Courtyards. I had a guy trying to get into MY room in the middle of the night, he was obviously confused and had the wrong room but it is freaky when something like this happens. What really put this hotel in the 2 rating instead of 3 is the breakfast at the Bistro. I ordered a yogurt parfait and fresh fruit, and their yogurt parfait did not come in the square dish with everything separated like the other Courtyards. It was pre-mixed, and everything was soggy and disgusting. The fruit in the fruit cup was sour and rancid. I ended up throwing everything away, it was completely inedible. Definitely won’t be returning to this Courtyard.

The hotel was pretty run down except for the lobby area. It was not super clean nor was the bed very comfortable. So there was no redeeming quality to draw me back. The cost was also very out of line for what you get.

All the staff with whom I interacted were friendly and helpful. There is a bistro onsite for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that had a good menu selection. There are also selections such as fresh fruit, fresh baked muffins, bagels, and multiple bevs incl a # of energy drinks. Was given a small water bottle upon check-in even though I'm not a high end Bonvoy member. Even numbered rooms face the highway, and the noise was very noticeable despite multiple windows to help drown it out. No issues with room. Good lobby area to hang out with co-workers. Everything in the San Fran area is expensive, so this would be considered a good "value" around $400.

The staff were very friendly and polite. Overall the hotel was clean. In the room there is no safe, microwave or refrigerator. You have free unsecured WiFi. There is a hairdryer, iron with ironing board, and a 1 cup coffee maker in the room. No complimentary breakfast but there is a place called The Bistro in lobby area where you can get breakfast, drinks and limited dinner menu. We went there in the morning for breakfast and the workers were very polite but it was obvious they were overwhelmed with the amount of people who were placing orders. I saw one lady get so frustrated she left without her order. There is a small fitness center and a outdoor pool. You can check in to your flights using a computer located in the lobby area. The hotel is located off of the 680 expressway. It is 1.2 miles from the Twin Canyon Shopping Center and 1.3 miles from City Center San Ramon Shopping. We chose this hotel because it was centrally located to visit family who live in Danville.

I stayed at this place for buisness tour last month. Found the staff a bit rude. Asked for a water bottle so manager was like we don’t give water bottle, you have to buy it. I mean seriously you can’t offer water to a guest. Giving one extra star for good food.

Having stayed in the Main Marriott across the highway, and the Residence Inn Marriott nearby, I was a little disappointed. The exercise room was small but good equipment and light. We got a fridge after asking, which had to be replaced. High ceilings. Facing the freeway was not best. Small part-time restaurant was a little challenged to get good food out in a correct manner. No buffet or free breakfast. Wifi was solid. No hot tub.
