We only stayed for a night and had a good experience. The basic room has a kitchenette, sitting area, desk, and includes a hot breakfast. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Given the amenities, the room is ideal for extended stays, perhaps for business travel. We used our World of Hyatt free night.
While the bar/restaurant is currently closed, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hot breakfast includes juice, coffee, milk,oatmeal, eggs, hash browns, sausage, prepackaged fruit, yogurt, bagels and cereal. Gloves and hand sanitizer are provided, but unfortunately mosts guests are not using them.
There are few negatives. The hotel was fully booked so we couldn’t upgrade our room that comes with our WoH status. We also had the worst view ever. I’ll post a photo!
Overall, I’d recommend this Hyatt. It’s slightly better than a Hyatt Place but not quite a Regency.

The service is always impeccable and the staff are overall very good. The location is perfect to visit family and friends. We liked the large room that we were given. However, when we requested a specific person to clean our room, (which we have done before) the cleaning supervisor once again did not know her employee's schedules.

We chose this facility for its proximity to family, based on good reviews. We weren't disappointed. Our room was well-equipped with kitchenette, king bed and pullout sofa bed. The bathroom is small but well laid out, so someone can shower or use the toilet while another uses the sink. The workout room is also well equipped and lit. Front desk staff went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast included hot food options and fresh fruit.

Customer service was great. The employees at the front desk were very accommodating. Our suite was clean and the style was very refreshing unlike other hotels we've stayed at that tend to come of a bit dark and gloomy. Will book here again for sure!

The hotel is in a good location, I can say that. However, having stayed at other Hyatt House locations, my expectations were for it to be new/modern and very clean. I found this place to be neither.
Despite the various signs about mask wearing, I found several guests not wearing them (or not wearing them properly) in common areas. I also found the same with cleaning staff. This is a significant safety concern during COVID and should be better enforced for the health/safety of all guests and staff.
There was a strong marijuana smell coming from different rooms during our stay. This was despite the signs which clearly said no smoking. Staff members walked by all day, but I saw no enforcement.
Our room also had issues. The dishwasher broke during the first cycle and we smelled a strong smell of burning rubber. This is toxic and a health concern, given that we have young children.
My wife complained to the staff but I saw no effort to either remediate these issues or provide a partial refund for this inferior experience.

I love the design of this room. The large screen TV can be angled so it is visible from the vanity area, bed, couch, desk and kitchen. Since I travel alone, I tend to have the news on in the background. The TV also has the chromecast feature so I can connect the apps on my phone to the TV and watch Netflix. I love that the windows have 2 shades, a blackout shade and a heat shade. The heat shade allows some light in, but keeps most of the heat out. The kitchen is well stocked, too. It has a microwave, small fridge and a dish washer. I have never had a problem with noise, either.

The exterior of the hotel looked decent and I was impressed to have four EV charging available on a first come first serve basis. However, this hotel is not up to 2022 standard. Where the property still relies on magnetic key cards and no app based mobile key available. This render online check in via Hyatt App useless. The entire property has only ONE single elevator for ALL the guests PLUS staff as service elevator. Usually this renders a long wait at the elevator lobby. The room felt it was from a college dormitory. With faucets and mirrors belongs to an antique store. And a weird design door separate the shower / toilet from the studio. Breakfast was decent enough w/ scrambled eggs, sausage links, and either tater tots or french toast sticks. However, some hotels offered coffee all day long, Hyatt House removed it after breakfast hours. During the stay, I also noticed the iron was leaking, and the location of the faucet is right next to the power outlet, which could be a potential danger.

Our house is under construction so my husband and I are staying here for a few months. We are very comfortable in our one bedroom suite and the hotel is a perfect location for us to go to work as well as local businesses and restaurants.
Mostly, we are impressed by the friendly and responsive management and staff. Today the manager went above and beyond for us. I expressed a concern that my favorite cereal Raisin Bran had been removed from the cereal bar and learned that the supply chain issues were affecting the hotel food supplier. A few hours later a box of Raisin Bran was delivered to my door with a nice note from the manager. They sent someone out to buy the box! I did not expect or deserve such special treatment but I sure do appreciate it.
The front desk and cleaning staff is also friendly, helpful and very responsive. There is a spirit of service here that is rare these days.

Extremely sweet and thoughtful staff, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Before we arrived, they called to ask if I would need a crib for my toddlers; and upon arrival, they thoughtfully gave my 2 kids little teddy bears. They also kept the kids entertained with coloring books during breakfast. Special thanks to Claudia for being extra sweet! Awesome experience, will definitely recommend and stay again!

Yes, we are pet friendly with a few restrictions. We will allow one pet that is under 50 pounds and the room you will check in to does have to b e on the ground floor. The pet fee if you are staying 1-6 nights is $75. If you are staying 7 nights or longer, there is an additional $100 cleaning fee bringing the total to $175.

We stayed in San Ramon at the Hyatt Place because our daughter got us a good rate and we had access to her car the whole time. She lives in Walnut Creek which is probably 12 -13 miles from San Ramon. She uses the Bart station in Walnut Creek for her daily trip into the city to the Embarcadero, about 35-40 minutes.
There are more places to choose from in the San Ramon area.
