This is our third year in a row spending Labor Day weekend at The Ranch House at Croad Vineyard and again, we had a wonderful time there. The kitchen is well stocked, the bed linens are high quality in each of the four rooms, the grounds with the hot tub and swimming pool are comfortable and just waiting for a big group who loves to laugh and hang out. We especially appreciated the Santa Maria-style BBQ and grilled all weekend. Martin, our host, is super responsive and helpful. It's an idyllic setting on the West Side and just lovely...stay here. you can't go wrong.

This is a gem of a place to stay when heading up or down the coast, or just to explore the wineries of Paso Robles. Beautiful rooms, great location, nice wines--lovely decks and views to enjoy your wine tasting and lovely cheese plate, included in the room price. Breakfast is wonderful, such nice staff and owners. Highly recommend. Everything is clean, rooms are very well done. Will definitely return! We took the recommendation of the owner to get takeout at the local seafood place, and ate dinner out on the deck overlooking the vineyards. It was a perfect accompaniment to the Croad wines. Felt safe during Covid surge.

This has been an incredibly stressful year for all of us, I have been concerned to travel but needed a break from home.
I am grateful we took a chance and made the trek to Paso Robles. Discovering The Inn at Croad Vineyard was the best find in Paso! Isolated from other properties, up on a gentle hill, vineyard views,a beautiful Inn & Winery and did I mention, only 4 lovely, comfortable rooms.
There was no worry about being near crowds, just a truly peaceful property with views and seating options that bring you inner peace.
Breakfast is included, Rosie, who takes care of the inn & breakfast is mindful of social distance rules and safety. Each morning she set options for seating both inside and outside that gave each couple their own space, there was zero worry about being near someone. Breakfast was lovely and so is Rosie.
Martin, the owner of the Winery and Inn makes a point of making sure you have everything you need to make your stay comfortable and care free, he even asked us what a good time for breakfast would be each day. He was always available and is a very generous host. You also can have a free daily glass of wine and cheese plate at the Winery. Of course my husband purchased some Zin wines from Croad Vineyards, to remember our stay.
I am grateful to have found a perfect place to actually relax and unwind, I did not think that was possible! We have found "Our place" in Paso!

We chose this particular inn, without every staying in Paso Robles and no one to recommend us as to where to stay, based on its location out of town and its Mission style architecture. We wanted a quiet respite and the Inn and its Innkeepers far exceeded expectation. The owners, Martin and Patti Croad, and their hostess, Rosie, are genuine, warm people who naturally understand hospitality. We wanted quiet, and it was delivered in a most gracious manner. The splashing fountain was soothing during the heat of the day, the room beautifully sized and appointed with personality, and the public areas of the winery beg for events while being warm and homey. The hiking paths around the hilltop, in the shade of oak trees, was a plus to enjoy the terrain. Then, there's the wine - excellent and inspired a hefty purchase. This is a real treasure and we plan to return and rent the Ranch House next time so we can swim and have even more privacy. Croad Vineyards is a real prize and worth the 4 hours drive from our home in Marin County. We'll definitely return.

This was a great first Covid getaway for us this year. Cute and homey Inn with expansive views, and a few steps from their tasting room with evening BBQ access - what more could you need? Cheese platters and wine each evening, and homemade breakfasts made with care set this place apart - especially the personable Kiwi owner who makes a point to make you feel more than welcome to stay and explore the grounds - even get into the rows of vines to watch harvesting. This is our new to go place.

Only suggestion to better an already amazing experience would be to portion off breakfast for individual guests rather than self serve in the open given the risk of Covid transmission.

That said, this place is spotless and clean, only a few rooms, much appreciated during a pandemic getaway! We’ll be back for sure!

Where do I begin? Fantastic views, awesome rooms and superb hospitality combined to make our getaway one to remember. I picked this place on a whim based on the reviews, and could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Ours was the downstairs room, and was large, comfortable, and well equipped, with double doors that opened up on to a patio where we enjoyed picnic dinners (you won’t want to leave here either). The owner and winemaker, Martin, was an amazing host and recommended other wineries to us and nearby hikes. I almost hate to write this review knowing the more publicity this place gets the harder it will be to get a reservation. We will definitely return.

The Inn is located off the main highway to the coast, via a backroad, but the views overlook the highway and the hills and valleys to the south. Our stay started with a glass of wine and a cheeseboard, as we checked in. The facility is great, with a comfortable room and wonderful great room and fireplace. The owner built us a fire the first night, and with our choice of music, we spent the evening reading on a big padded couch. The next morning, we had a simple but tasty breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and fresh fruit, along with lots of coffee! We were able to walk the property for exercise, and then we were in the middle of wine country for the day! That next night we were easily able to head to Paso for dinner, and return for another great evening at the inn, with another good breakfast before checkout. There is a great TV and cable if one needs them (both in the great room and in the bedrooms), but overall, it is simply a great place to unwind and relax.

We stayed in three rooms at the Inn at Croad Vineyards from Friday until Sunday. The place was immaculate, comfortable, well appointed, and felt like home ( if your home has a stupendous view over rolling hills and vineyards). The cozy leather sofas and huge fireplace were a perfect venue to enjoy a glass of wine and the cheese platter. The staff was warm and welcoming. Martin, the innkeeper and vintner, is attentive and friendly. He stopped by day and night. Rosie, the chef, became an immediate friend .

We will definitely be back.

I can’t say enough great things about the Inn at Croad. Everything was terrific! We stayed for 2 nights and I wish it was longer. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed and pillows so comfortable. Breakfast made by Rosie in the morning was just wonderful! Plenty of space to eat inside at a long welcoming wooden table or sit outside and take in the views. We started each day with a walk on the beautiful grounds then had coffee in the chairs overlooking the vineyard.
Because we were staying at the Inn the tasting in the tasting room was complimentary along with a delicious cheese board. We enjoyed all of the wines poured
and we joined the wine club. Our host and winemaker Martin and his wife couldn’t have been nicer! They sure know how to run an Inn and make their guests feel
very welcome. We cannot wait to return!

We had a beautiful, relaxing stay at the Inn. We arrived after check-in time due to traffic issues on our long drive, but they were very accommodating with late checkin, sent instructions, called us, and even left a cheese plate and wine in our room. I can’t begin to describe how beautiful the vineyard and mountain views are. There are countless seating areas outside to relax and take it all in. Rooms are large, well-appointed, comfortable, pretty, and very clean. The continental breakfast was perfect. We will definitely be back!
