This is a great bargain for hotel in the area. Needs a bit of updating but what is missing is made up for by the staff. They also offer the opportunity to use a washer and dryer if your in need. Breakfast is good as well.
Noisy AC, very loud plumbing from room upstairs... Literally shakes the walls. Weird strict policy about not taking any breakfast items out of the dining area... Mgr said it was to keep bugs from being attracted to food in rooms. But there is mini fridge and microwave in rooms and most people bring take out or pizza etc to eat in their rooms anyway! Silly rule. I let mgmt know I wasn't happy with my room and requested to change but they would not change without charging considerably more just to move to opposite of the building. Communication with the front desk and mgr was strained at best. I won't be staying here again.
Upon check in, Sherry was great. She made sure to tell us how to turn the lights on and have us a run down of all complimentary amenities. Pool was amazing. View is great from the third floor. Beds are comfortable and there are enough pillows and an extra blanket in the closet. Towels are also enough and there's a pair of robes behind the bathroom door. Nice! Alex, the breakfast cook was great! We asked him a few questions and he answered them with a very detailed explanation. This place is great.
We stayed here just one night on our way up the coast. Our room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The gym had a treadmill, exercise bike, and stair climber. There was one weight machine, but no free weights. It was adequate for our needs. There was a full breakfast available the next morning. People were even gathered around the bar in the evening even though it was a small bar. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re passing through Paso Robles.
We left an expensive computer charger in our room. We called 90 mins after checkout and nobody could find it. Housekeeping never found/returned it. Ridiculous since it was less than 2 hours from when we left it. I’ve never had a hotel not find something the same day you check out. Housekeeping never found/returned it. It is really frustrating to lose a $150, and have a highly regarded hotel lose it or not return it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, as if you forget something you will never get it back.
Disgusting hair in my bed. I contacted the front desk when I saw it at 11:45 pm they said we can change your room which it was too late to do. I was told I could speak to management in the am I went to ask for a manager and they said she’s not in she will contact you. Two days I kept calling until I was able to speak to her. (She never reached out). Very rude unaccommodating. Side note my shower water wouldn’t get warm either.
Booked this hotel last minute for July 4th weekend. This hotel was the cheapest option for a last minute booking, and did not disappoint. Parking: lots of parking, no issues at any time. Multiple entrances, so it’s still easy to get in when you park in the back. Check-In: Easy and quick, even for a late night check In. Room: Clean, matched the photos. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathrobes we’re provided, along with enough towels for two people for two days. Room was huge! Breakfast: Included every morning. Wait staff for breakfast was AMAZING- so on top of it. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast hours ended at 10am, loved that it was later than some other places. Would definitely stay here again, far exceeded expectations!
This hotel is merely average. Not bad, but nothing recommends it over others in the area. The good: spacious rooms, covered parking (with solar panels), it was clean and the breakfast had protein, fiber and fruit choices. The front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and efficient. There was a night light type ceiling light in the bathroom for safety. The mattress was comfortable. The less good: TV wasn’t working when we turned it on. The front desk said it was a hotel- wide connectivity issue and it should be working within the hour, which it was. But by then the news program we wanted to watch was over. I had trouble getting more than merely warm water for my shower. I got it hot once, then the temperature promptly reduced. Too many people taking showers? The area where the hotel is situated wasn’t great. Homeless people were walking through the parking lot, talking to themselves, when I took my suitcase out to the car. The room had one of those below - the-window a/c units that pump out only freezing air onto your bed, even if the temp is set to 68 degrees. The pillows were small weird square ones filled with torn-up foam, 6” high. I don’t know how anyone is supposed to sleep on those comfortably. We won’t be back.…
No Kleenex, no magnifying mirror, no nightlight but the A/C compressor did kick on with hurricane force regularly throughout the night as did some loud mechanical noise. Breakfast was adequate—guarded extremely closely-unimpressed!
From check in this hotel is style. Publc rooms are plain. Rooms are well appointed. Large and spacious with gigantic double bed, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Bathroom is of a good size and the air conditiondr is self controlle. All in all faultless. Breakfast is more than ample with helpful staff. There is a swimming pool and work out room.
