My husband and I have stayed here three times, the last two we brought friends with us. It's lovely and quiet, away from the tasting room, but on the vineyard property. It has only 3 rooms, which are very comfortable, and share a common kitchen with ice, water, tea, coffee, bottles of wine, etc. But the setting is what makes it so special. It's adjacent to a beautifully laid out vegetable garden & fruit orchard. And a chicken coop of interesting-breed chickens. Every morning, someone harvests the eggs & garden, and makes us breakfast. Every evening, there's a platter of appetizers left for us in the kitchen refrigerator. And a friendly cat that owns the place comes to socialize with us on the deck. And my only regret is that after posting this review, they may not have room for OUR party, when we want to visit next.

We've stayed in other places in Paso Robles in the past - hotel, Air BnB - and both agreed that this is where we'll be staying in the future! The Inn is nestled away from the tasting room and feels very private. The rooms are beautiful, with a large bathtub, separate large shower, lounging area on the patio outside. The bottle of wine and appetizers were such a nice touch, and we definitely appreciated the snacks after a day of wine tasting. Breakfast is also included and was delicious. The view of the stars at night was stunning. I couldn't recommend staying at the Inn more, but be warned that there are only three rooms!

The Inn at Opolo was a wonderful start to our stay in Paso Robles. Sadly, we were only able to spend one night here as the three rooms book up quickly. Book your reservation early! While you arrive at the tasting room for "check-in", you are quickly escorted up to the lodging area away from the parking lot and up a separate road to the rooms. Rooms are comfortable with gas fireplace and veranda (deck) with lounge chairs where you can enjoy your complimentary bottle(s) of Opolo wine and your welcome charcuterie tray. Staff is gracious and welcoming. Best views are when you leave your room and take a sunset or early morning walk through the quiet, rolling vineyards, or when you step out of your room late at night and gaze up at the stars against the fully darkened sky. This is a beautiful place and a great value with generous wine tasting, bottles of Opolo wine, welcoming tray and wonderful, fresh breakfast included. Inn is well located to many other excellent Paso wineries, but is a 25+ minute drive, along some very dark, winding roads, to the great restaurants in downtown Paso.

We were lucky enough to find an available night at The Inn at Opolo during Harvest Week and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Rick Quinn and his staff. While the room was nicely appointed, the real treat is all the extras Opolo has to offer. The appetizer platter the night of arrival was abundant and paired well with the complimentary wine and a tasty pizza from the wine tasting venue. We met Rick who shared his love of the winery and his deep attachment to his heritage, culture, and cuisine. Breakfast was delicious and Anne thought of everything to make us feel like family.
If you spend a little time at Opolo, where the wines are excellent in quality and diversity, you can't help but appreciate the family-owned spirit and attention to its guests. Next October, we will try to get tickets to the Harvest Weekend festivities to enjoy Balkan music, dancing, and food with plenty of wine!
Thank you, Anne, Rick, and staff!

The winery and distillery are great on their own. However they have three nicely appointed rooms on a hillside near the winery. The setting is among acres and acres of grapes. We had a nice long walk one morning before the excellent fresh cooked breakfast. There is a bottle of wine in your room as well as chocolate chip cookies and chocolate candy. There is a nice deck with lounge chairs, a perfect setting for sipping wine at the end of the day. In addition, you receive a large tray of assorted cheeses, shrimp, ahi, grapes, and other goodies each day. A very nice experience especially at the end of the pandemic. Also a 10% discount if you join the wine club. We definitely will return. (in room fireplace)

This was the second stay here for my wife and I, and it was just was excellent as the first time. This time our friends, another couple, booked another room here during the same weekend and it was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with privacy, autonomy, fine food, and beautiful scenery.
The town of Paso Robles is a short ride away, and on Friday evening we were able to get a rideshare app ride to and from The Inn for dinner reservations.
The beds are perfect for our preference, with plush linens and soft yet firm mattress. The room we booked has a deep jet tub for a good soak, and the included bottles of wine and appetizer platter each day were perfect for idle grazing.

We had a great stay at the Inn. They handled our wine tasting booking and provided us with over the top service. The breakfast and charcuterie platter, we had the night before, were first class quality.
The room was very comfortable and the shower had a unique design to keep your body covered in water, not just your head.
The setting was quiet and peaceful in the middle of the West wineries.

There are three rooms a short walk from the tasting room and on the edge of the expansive winery in the middle of vegetable gardens. Each room comes with a bottle of wine and a large tray with cheeses, salami, etc. A second bottle awaits you in the community kitchen and dining area where you will be served a delicious breakfast. Wine tasting is also complementary and there is a discount if you are a wine club member

This was our 3rd time staying at the Inn. We love it. The grounds are amazing and so tranquil. They have a beautiful garden with vegetables and fruit trees. The daily breakfast is better than a 5 star restaurant and after eating the daily appetizer platter, we never feel hungry for dinner! It’s such a great relaxing atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Really a special place.

Entire experience was delightful - easy reservations, friendly check-in, wine in room, wonderful appetizer tray before dinner (including a bottle of wine), excellent breakfast cooked to order, with mimosas of course! The dining room was well-equipped, with espresso machine, water, sodas available 24/7. Very pleasant view from our room and lovely area to walk around. Staff was friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit!

Does your property have a swimming pool
Answer from Rick Q

While we do not have a swimming pool on site, two of the three rooms have luxurious soaking tubs. You can sit back, relax, and enjoy a glass of Opolo wine while letting the stress of everyday life melt away! We hope to see you soon.
