We had an amazing stay at this location. The property owner, Property Manager and Inn Keeper really made sure that we had a wonderful stay. Well maintained and artistic location, every inch of the property is tastefully done.

My son specially enjoyed seeing the bunny, deer on the property which we rarely get to see in Bay Area.

Well it is really like the garden of Eden in the beautiful area of Paso Robles. We had a blast staying here and Tova is simply such a gentle and helpful person. She made our stay so enjoyable really. We stayed in the 3 bedrooms house and really loved it. The swimming pool area is absolutely marvellous as well.
Inn Paradiso location is perfect as well as it is literally 5 minutes away from lots of shopping options.
If you stop by Paso ( and you should if you love wine), you know where to stay. Inn Paradiso !

Inn Paradiso is a small B & B located just outside Paso Robles. It is not set in the beautiful area of vineyards as some of the other B & B's are. This was a negative for us, although being close to town was convenient for going out to dinner. Our room, the Carlo Moleno, was large, had a fireplace, and a beautiful four-poster bed which has luxurious sheets and an assortment of comfortable pillows. There is a large shower and soaking tub. Small details like an in-room French press, scented candle, robes, & a snack plate are nice touches. We enjoyed the great books and iPod docking station.

The grounds are lovely and reminiscent of Tuscany: pebble walkways, lavender borders & flowering trees. The pool is a pleasing addition to the property, although the plastic chairs distract from the elegance of the surroundings.

A healthy farm to table breakfast is offered and served at a community table in the dining room. Unfortunately, the room is dark and was quite chilly on the cool mornings we dined there in March.

Our only suggestion would be to offer guests a complimentary glass of wine upon arrival. Since many visitors to the area are there to visit wineries, it's an appropriate and welcoming gesture, as well a common practice at B & B's we have stayed at in Tuscany and Napa.

Despite the positives described in this review, we would choose either Orchard Hill or Creekside B & B for a future visit because of their location amongst the vineyards. We also felt the room rate of $350 a night too steep for the location and accommodation.

Very disappointed, spiders everywhere the room, old ice cream in freezer, wondered if room was cleaned. Slanted ceiling in bedroom & bathroom, no ventilation. No instructions on coffee maker, no contact information for questions, no office or personal on property. Rough dirt road to property, our name & access code for steel gate was easily found at entrance. We are Airbnb host in Oregon and for the cost would never recommend.

Well this was an interesting experience. The Inn consists of three rooms in a two-story building behind a main house that is occupied by a full time caretaker. We stayed in the Maria Sabina Room. For the positives the room was very attractively furnished with a comfortable bed, antiques and attractive furnishings and interesting art. It was visually pleasing, comfortable and clean. The bathtub was open and located rather centrally to the room. When you walked in the front door, you directly faced the door to the toilet room that was a freestanding, small room, and was the visual center of the suite, which we found odd. It also lacked insulation so there was no soundproofing which we did not appreciate. There were Oil of Olay gift sample packets in the room but they were all empty. The grounds are attractive but in need of upkeep. Lots of dusty open areas, and older, unused unrecognizeable remnants of previous things scattered aout. The swimming pool had no furniture or shade of any sort so you couldn’t sit or lounge around it. There was no trashcan outside. There was no TV. The breakfasts were quite good however. One night we were the only guests present which felt a little uncomfortable. If you enjoy this sort of unique experience, and I’m sure many people do, then you will find the Inn Paradiso to be paradise. For us it was a little too quirky.

I am loathe to write a review of a place I have never been to, a review that is based on an experience that never got passed the booking phase, but I need to share it nonetheless.

I booked a weekend at the end of September, based on a recommendation from a friend. The woman who took my reservation is Amber, and she never told of their cancellation policy at the time of booking. In addition to that, their cancellation policy is not listed on their website, nor did I ever receive the confirmation email they claimed they sent (they mistyped the email address in their system).

So when it came time to unfortunately have to cancel the reservation due to work, I called five days before our reservation, thinking that was more than sufficient. The owner Dawna told me at that time that they had a 14 day cancellation policy but since they were going through "managerial problems" at the time of my booking, she would give me a full refund.

I was not given any refund.

And now Dawna is in Mexico and the new manager, Tanner, says I was never promised a refund (as per their booking notes and some correspondence between him and her). He says he has to follow policy, period, despite the fact that I am fully certain I was promised differently due to bad management at the time of booking.

Now this is the kicker: During our correspondence about why the credit wasn't given, Tanner sent me a copy of the confirmation letter that was supposedly sent to me when I booked the room. I pointed out to him that AMBER HAD ENTERED THE WRONG EMAIL ADDRESS - the reason I never was made aware of their cancellation policy - and STILL they will not acknowledge that this is their mistake, not mine, and he will not refund me the $763. All he has offered is a credit for ONE night, not the two that I already paid for at the time of the booking. I tried to follow up a couple times and they have ignored me.

I'm sure the place is gorgeous, and that if you go you will love it, but now I don't even want to use the one night's credit because the whole experience has left such a bad taste in my mouth. I don't want to go out of obligation; I want to go with a good feeling in my heart. I want to be as excited as I was at the time when I initially made the reservation.

I am thoroughly dismayed and disappointed at how this whole situation was handled. I don't know why they didn't just own up to their mistake and refund me the full amount, or give two night's stay. They have handled this situation so incredibly poorly and it's a real shame. Hopefully their customer service has improved since this happened. Hopefully they will note their cancellation policy on their website. Hopefully they will honor their promises. Hopefully...

If you need to cancel - make sure to do it 14 days in advance, or else...

Your experience saddens us as we put a tremendous amount of time and effort into consciences customer service as evidenced by our overwhelmingly positive reviews. After sending an email confirmation we did not receive any indication of incorrect email address nor did we receive any subsequent inquiry regarding our cancellation policy. We are a very small independent business, not a large hotel. Our two week cancellation policy is consistent with most reputable B&B's, in fact many have a three week cancellation policy. We couldn't stay in business without such a policy because of the unfortunate few who make various reservations only to cancel close to their arrival date leaving innkeepers with empty rooms. We turned down two different interested couples in the weeks leading up to your arrival. We appreciate how difficult it is when life gets in the way of plans, consequently we credited one nights stay. As promised at the time of cancellation, had we been able to re-book the room we would have refunded the entire amount. We are truly sorry for this unfortunate situation and can understand how upsetting it may be.

We stayed two nights in Feb. as part of a long President's Day weekend. We had stayed here several years ago, once, when the property was under a previous owner. A nice visit, the room very nice, but the property was then in serious need of a lot of attention. The grounds were untended, the house had lots of things not working, etc.

Based on all the recent rave reviews, we decided to give Inn Paradiso another try. What an amazing transformation. The potential of this magical place has now been fully realized. The grounds are impeccable, the stonework detailing and masonry is beautiful, the house has been fully tended to with beautiful woodwork complementing the original timbers and architecture. The pool area looks most inviting as well, surely an added bonus if one is here in the heat of a Paso summer. A visual delight all around.

Cyndi has replaced Dawna as the resident hostess. She is a delight. Charming, engaging, hospitable, and accommodating. She is a wizard in the kitchen for breakfast, yogurts, spelt pancakes, oatmeal, all simple (as we had requested) but delicious, filling, and as fresh as could be. Her broth, tofu and fresh greens soup our second morning was pure magic. And, thanks to Judith for her most able assistance in the kitchen in the mornings. Oh, special kudos to Cyndi for her marinated olives in the evening.

We had the place to ourselves given our mid-week visit. The Inn has 3 rooms in total in the main guest house. Each room is well separated from the others, so even if the Inn is fully booked we expect all guests would have complete privacy. There are so many alcoves, spots to sit and simply unwind, both inside and out, that one can easily get lost in the tranquility and calm of the Inn.

And, of course, it is perfectly situated as a home base for wine touring. We most highly recommend this gem. The Inn now truly lives up to its name.

Came to Paso for a one night stay and wanted to be at a B&B. Contacted Inn Paradiso early in the week based on the good ratings and they were nice enough to allow a one night stay instead of the normal two night minimum. I know this isn't optimal for them but I will definitely be back.
Arrived on Sat in the early afternoon and was greeted by Dawna who gave us a quick tour of the property. The place is hard to put into words, Funky, artistic, grand, charming, it just feels comfortable. A great vibe. She took us to our room on the second floor and I was blown away. Large room, beautifully appointed. Great tub, shower, bed. The cool rustic feel of the outside is completely different from the rooms themselves, which give you a experience you would expect from a high end hotel. Great linens, towels, robes, etc.
Swimming pool was great and Dawna even offered to take us downtown herself for our dinner reservations when we asked about having a taxi come pick us up.
The next morning we had a great breakfast and were wishing we could stay a few more days. Next time. We will be back.

My girlfriend and I planned to spend a couple days in SLO and Paso Robles and she fortunately came upon this gem of a place secluded in the Paso hills. The magnificence of the setting must be seen to be appreciated with the scents of fresh lavender and pine wafting in the air. The inn's hostess Tova greeted us ever so warmly and owner Steve was equally welcoming. There's something so nostalgic about this place, rich in its architectural detail with countless outdoor areas to retreat to under porches or a canopy of trees. We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a late afternoon swim and peace & quiet beyond compare. Our
beautiful suite had a sitting area
and luxurious bathroom, and opened directly to a magnificent Great Room with big picture windows designed to bring the
outdoors in. Breakfast the next morning was incredible, a real feast and Tova graced us for the
duration with her engaging personality. It was an experience
that ended far too quickly, but one that guarantees our return. Loved,
loved it!! Thank you Steve and Tova for making it so memorable!

Answer from Inn Paradiso

We have one suite that is pet friendly. It is our Antonio Gaudi suite. There is a one time, $75 pet fee. Our pet policy states that you may bring one pet with you to this suite, and the pet must weigh under 40 pounds. Also, the pet cannot be left alone in the suite at any time.
Answer from Inn Paradiso

Thank you for your concern and your interest in staying with us at Inn Paradiso. The ownership of the inn remains the same. I am the new innkeeper, and I moved here from the East Coast in the beginning of December. I assure you that the quality and philosophy of the inn remains the same. We strive to provide the best service possible and serve our healthy, organic, garden to table breakfasts to our guests. A lot of thought and attention went into our breakfast menu and we strive to add more delicious meals. Like our attention to our breakfast offerings, we also strive to make the environment aesthetically pleasing and relaxing to all of our guests. As far as Trip Advisor reviews, you are correct, there haven't been many. We received our first one on 4/13/15, and then another one a couple of weeks after that. You will see they are both 5 star reviews. Well guests chose not to post on Trip Advisor, they have been commenting on booking . com (a site associated with Trip Advisor). Please go to booking . com to see the reviews there, if you would like to confirm your original instinct of booking your stay with us at Inn Paradiso. We would love the chance to meet you and to have you experience all that we have to offer. Thank you, Tamara
