Nestled in an idyllic setting with fountains and flowers, the Best Western Plus Las Brisas Hotel has won the hearts of many travelers with its cleanliness and captivating atmosphere, despite occasional complaints about loud music. The hotel's prime location is frequently celebrated for its proximity to local attractions, and guests relish the complimentary breakfast and serene courtyard. While the service is generally regarded as friendly, there have been mixed experiences with management. Room comfort is noted, but noise from nearby bars can be a drawback for light sleepers.

So this is the third time I’ve stayed this year and it’s always a great getaway! Ashley and Jeanette at the front always welcoming, the breakfast crew always working hard with a smile on their faces and then having Stephanie behind the bar just makes our pool days more complete! And then as I checked out I was so happy to see Mr Scott back! Sure did miss his pleasant voice! See you soon lol

We wanted somewhere to stay during Modernism Week 2023 and were aghast at how high some hotels were. We needed to be close to the action in downtown Palm Springs, and needed parking too, so we picked Best Western Las Brisas. It turned out to be a good choice and we could walk to many Modernism events. The place isn't fancy, but is pretty with greenery and bougainvillea. We had a large room up front and were always able to find parking. The free breakfast was substantial enough and food could be taken into their patio. The pool is nothing special. All the local hotels get filled during Modernism Week (every February) and prices go up too. Most events are based in Palm Springs, so staying outside that (like Rancho Mirage or La Quinta) can involve a long drive. BW Las Brisas is close to downtown Palm Springs and offers very reasonable rates.

Location and grounds are very good. Poolside service was fun and friendly. Bed was comfortable. My first downside, in my opinion. is we should not have paid extra for a room with a pool view. Seeing the pool as you walk the breezeway to room or seeing pool after going out door and looking over the side of breezeway is not room with a pool view. Floor of our room had sticky spills and we had empty soap dispenser in shower with one small hand soap available outside shower area for sink. Soap issue was taken care of immediately after advising desk. Very musty smell from A/C. Just feel like with such a beautiful grounds and pool area management needs to step up their value of housekeeping.

We stayed for 2 nights and found the hotel clean and well maintained. The location is great for exploring all Palm Springs has to offer. Unfortunately this is where what would have been an otherwise positive review ends.....due to noise and disinterested, apathetic service.

Our initial room, was in C Block and featured an interconnecting door. The noise intrusion from the neighbouring guest room and nearby bar venues led to a severely disturbed night.

As a result, the next day, we requested a room swap. The Manager did not seem surprised at our concerns, even going so far as to say he didn't know why those rooms were still allocated to guests! He did however advise his team would identify a quieter room for us.

After breakfast, we visited the reception desk. We were advised a new room was not yet available and in the meantime, we would have to clear our previous room and store our luggage at reception. On returning to the reception desk at midday, we were advised a new room in B block was available and we could take our bags there.

There was no offer to assist with the logistics of transferring to a new room nor any sign of a proactive approach e.g. moving our bags ahead of our return nor any apology. We pressed for some form of restitution, Brenda offered to liaise with her general manager and true to her word, kept us updated which I appreciate. Unfortunately her colleague Ron was disinterested and apathetic. The new room in B block faced the pool, did not have an interconnecting door and was much quieter.

On checking out, again Ron was on reception. His apathetic service continued, I was not greeted nor acknowledged. My key cards were simply taken and a receipt printed. No apology, no thank you for your stay or wishing us a safe onward journey etc.

In summary, the levels of noise intrusion and customer service are not commensurate with a nightly rate approaching $200. This has not been our experience at other Best Western Plus branded hotels.

The hotel is fine but we (me and wife) were left with mixed and bad feelings when we were sent final invoice by e-mail. We realized that we were cheated by poolside Bar/Grill - the barman charged us for food we never ordered. We were not offered to sign the bill (we ordered drinks on the hotel room number). My advice for hotel guests is to pay for drinks and meal at the Bar/Grill directly with credit card, not to assign your order on the hotel room, otherwies you may be cheated.

We spent 5 days during Christmas week at this property and found it to be close to restaurants, bars and shopping. We requested a room on the "quiet side" of the hotel because there are late night bars facing the other side. Because of this, we did not have any problems with noise. The grounds and pool area are beautiful well-maintained. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast, and we were pleasantly surprised that they had a person that was serving the hot foods. After getting pink eye from handling common serving utensils, I normally avoid eating at places where food is served buffet-style and several people are hovering over the food and handling the serving utensils. The hotel staff was welcoming and accommodating.

The hotel has lovely grounds, is centrally located, and the breakfast featured the typical hot & cold offerings for a hotel of this type. The pool area was nice. I used the fitness center 4x and it is adequate but tight on space. Dumbbells up to 50lbs, a cable machine, bike, treadmill, and elliptical. The elliptical could use a tune-up. The staff were helpful. There is a bar in the lobby.

The unfortunate issue- there is an entertainment strip next to the hotel, and depending on your room, you will be listening to the music and noise of the bars until 2AM (weeknights), and then the sound of 6000 beer bottles going into a recycle bin will follow. I used noise-cancelling ear buds and white noise to sleep but my co-worker had to move a different room. Building A is farther from the noise. Rooms ending in 02-12 in B and 01 & 02 in C face the pool vs. the bars.

I realize the hotel cannot do much about this but it is an issue if you are a light sleeper.

We extended our stay after a business trip in Palm Desert and moved to this hotel. The location was amazing, the hotel itself was very nicely designed on the exterior, and the staff were kind and courteous. The location is very close to a quite rowdy gay bar so depending on what floor or what side of the building you are on, this excess noise can keep you awake in some cases. The rooms were basic but functional - the bed was comfortable. A short walk from the strip for Thursday Night market or to catch the Forever Marilyn statue, the location cannot be beat. There are food options nearby to accommodate any dietary restrictions, and the staff are happy to give recommendations. Happy Hour is lovely and the pool side bar is great. The pool deck itself is clean and well organized. The room didn't have a safe, which I found strange. Overall, if you are looking for a downtown Palm Springs stay that is close to everything, this hotel can't be beat.

I normally stay at boutique hotels when I visit Palm Springs but this time I was traveling with my friend and her 13 year old daughter. I wasn’t sure what to expect staying here but I was impressed how clean and spacious the rooms are. I did ask for a quiet room since I’ve read reviews about the clubs nearby. The location of my room was quiet (though on one of my nights I did hear the loud pipes).I was impressed, breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, coffee, waffles, fruit, bagels/toast/english muffins etc. I appreciated they had a lobby bar and gazebo bar (for those of us who enjoy a cocktail or two)! Overall, the employees are genuinely nice and happy. You can’t beat the location, it’s a 5 min walk to Palm Canyon Drive where the restaurant are and shops. Overall, my experience was pleasant.

We stayed at the Las Brisas for three nights in early February. Upon arrival we were impressed with the attractive look of the hotel and the spacious parking area. After a friendly welcome at check in, we settled in our room, located in building 2 (there are 3 buildings but they are all connected). Our room had a very comfortable king size bed, with a large sauna bath. The room was quiet and conveniently located in proximity to the pool and breakfast dining area. Due to cool weather, we did not use the pool, but enjoyed the nice complimentary breakfast provided each morning. The hotel is conveniently located a block away from the maIn strip of the downtown area, and thus it was just short walk to shopping and restaurants. We were also impressed with the staff in the hotel, providing suggestions for dining as well as other attractions. During our stay it was short ride to the Tram, the Air Museum, and just over an hour to Joshua Tree National Park. I would highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, good value, and professional staff.
