Lovely experience. I stayed here 17 years ago and enjoyed it. We were upgraded to a lovely room and the front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly. Parking was easy- it’s $30 but hassle free. We really enjoyed our stay- easy walk to downtown and tons of restaurants.
Room 379 standard 2 beds The room was very comfortable, blackout curtains, comfy bed, clean, quiet, coffee maker, mini fridge, safe box, patio with nice Mountain Views. There is a charge of $18 for self parking or $25 valet parking. Nice pool with their own bar and food service, I would suggest a little more shade areas at the pool but omg. It was great and fun. Casino is right next door if you like gambling. Right in the middle of all major entertainment like bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Staff super friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed from the moment I opened those doors.
It gives me no pleasure to write this however I have to warn my fellow travelers. If you got noisy kids, this is a family friendly place which is right for you. If you are looking for peace and quiet, I’d avoid this place. I’d go to an adults only place. The first night I was there, there were kids by the pool yelling “Marco! Polo!” until midnight. The next nights a girl next door was crying until the wee hours of the morning. Got no sleep that night either. I heard a couple complaining to the front desk about how terrible the service in the restaurant. I paid over $300 a night for this place and they have the gall to add $30 on top of that. I’m not staying here again and neither should you.
We booked this location because it was walking distance to downtown and had a heated pool. I was disappointed are room was run down, missing full length mirror, broken off hook I’m bathroom. Room was lacking USB ports. The thing that was concerning about his hotel, is security and non friendly front desk staff. There was person not mental well hanging out in the pool. We left but came back 3 hrs later and she was half dressed and still there. When I call front desk, was put on hold twice, finally got through before they would send someone. I was surprised that the pool does not require a hotel key. I was also waken one night to pounding on my door, saying house keeping. I would not open the door and told them I did not order house keeping. After a few minutes they went away. When I approached front desk about it, they did not seem concerned. Any time I ask front desk questions about the area, I seem to be a bother. People at the pool were amazing, but only saw them once while we were there.…
This hotel was very disappointing, especially considering room rates of $350 to more than $500 a night for NYE. Maybe that is par for the course in Palm Springs but I expected a resort experience and instead found it a very average hotel experience with many little things wrong that added up to irritation. Our first floor room had a stench at night, like sewage. A drawer for clothing didn't work properly. The shower head made for a very unsatisfying shower. You had to request maid service daily to get it. They were initially stingy with towels until I asked for extra coffee one night, at which point they brought towels for an army but no coffee. Small bits of debris in the hallway were there two days before being removed. With the emphasis on the pool area I would expect robes, but no. The fitness room had no area to do floor work, so it was just as well that they didn't have yoga mats (or the headsets that a sign says you can get at the front desk). Only free weights, a couple single-function weight machines and some cardio equipment. Also no scale. Although the facility is older, the rooms and common areas were ok, nothing fancy but not unattractive although hallways look a little worn. The servers were unfailingly friendly, which is the reason I give the place two stars; the restaurant and bar were good But this is nowhere near a luxury resort as the room prices would suggest. (Also, they said they were full and couldn't provide a room upgrade but the facility didn't seem to be anywhere near that busy; I could be wrong about that though).…
My hubby and I enjoyed a short relaxing stay. We highly recommend the rooms with a poolside patio! The Patio had a table with chairs and 2 loungers. We were steps away from the pool, had the privacy of palms and also gorgeous mountain views. The grounds are well kept and the outdoor dining and bar area is very nice. The pool was warm, there are 2 hot tubs and also seating around a gas firepit. The downside is this property is very dated and our room had an unpleasant odor. It was also not the cleanest. The plusses made up for the minuses. We would definitely return!
The staff was incredibly nice! We enjoyed every minute of our 2 night stay! Bill and Hattie at the pool were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. The food in the restaurant was delicious and Jorge our server was excellent. Jeanette, the hostess was delightful to talk to, and greeted us with warmth and hospitality!!
The hotel is very nice, located in a great location near downtown good restaurants and the casino. There is a beautiful pool and 2 hot tubs. The staff is great especially Jason at the front desk and Haddie at the pool.
I attended an event in Palm Springs and this was the partner hotel, so otherwise I probably wouldn't have selected it. As a Diamond HH I did received an update to a larger Jr Suite that was oddly shaped, but in a quiet location (not facing the pools) and close to easy parking (which you do have to pay for, though if you come back to the hotel and there is no parking they still guarantee they will find you a spot). There aren't a lot of food options for late dinner (after 9pm) so you do have to walk a few blocks towards the main street of Palm Springs which you do walk past a few deserted blocks. The breakfast was nice, but of course as typical Diamond food & beverage credits you still need to pay an little extra + tip. The service was very good. The room itself was a bit outdated, but plenty of space and places to sit. The TV was not a smart TV, but there was a decent option of channels.…
The carpeting was stained. The furniture was scratched and chipped. The AC vent was dirty. The bathroom was updated but the shower tile cracked. Bed and pillows were fine. You need to call for maid service otherwise the trash will pile up in your room. I requested trash removal one day but that didn’t happen. Had to put the trash out in the hall for collection. All-in-all, the room was dinghy and would greatly benefit from a complete renovation. The pool and hot tubs were nice. Front desk and bartenders were nice. Location is great but not worth the price I paid.
