Here's our take on Palm Canyon Resort: Pros: Despite some concerns about room conditions from other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. While the rooms are a bit dated, they're clean, and there have been some nice cosmetic updates. Our spacious room with a huge balcony and kitchenette suited our family perfectly. In fact, the bed was even more comfortable than the ones we had at the Westin earlier in the week. Plus, the resort's proximity to downtown Palm Springs, just 3 miles away, was a big plus. Cons: If you're here for the pool, brace yourself for an early morning rush. Folks start lining up at 8 am to snag chairs, and by 8:30, they're all gone. This can be frustrating if you're hoping to relax by the pool during peak times, especially during spring break when the resort seems to be at full capacity. As for dining options, the only choice within walking distance is the pool grill. And if you're a coffee lover like us, be prepared to make your own in-room brew, as there's no coffee available onsite. Overall, Palm Canyon Resort offers a comfortable stay with some minor inconveniences. It's a solid choice for families looking for a mid-tier option with ample space and amenities, but be prepared to strategize your pool time and dining options accordingly.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your accommodations, regarding the pool chairs, we are implementing a new system that won't allow guest to reserve lounge chairs, we hope this helps with this opportunity. We appreciate your insight. Have a great day!.

Hotel's Favorite
We had a two bedroom unit with 1 bathroom. The tub was HUGE! The kitchen was quite large as was the dining room/living room area with a nice balcony (overlooking the street). The second bedroom did not have a closet, so we shared the master bedroom closet. Not really a big deal if you are family.

The resort is outdated, the staff is friendly and they do the best they can with what they have. They could use more chairs around the pool as there was plenty of space for more chairs. It was a mad scramble to try to find a place to sit pool side every morning. The food is descent and the rooms are roomy.

This is an older complex. 2 bedroom condos have 1 bathroom. Our condo was immaculate, mattresses were very comfy but living room sofa and chair cushions needed replacement and were too uncomfortable to sit in. However, we were gone most of the time so the living room furniture wasn't much of a problem. The condo is conveniently located and there is a choice of underground or above ground parking. We did not use any of the amenities so I cannot comment on them. We did not request any service while we were there so I can't comment on it other than to say the condo and the complex were very well maintained.

This resort was recently purchased by Hilton. As such, they will be updating the rooms over the next few months which will improve ones experience. While the size of the room was nice, the furniture was very uncomfortable (too soft) and the carpet was frayed. It was great to have a kitchen on which to cook some meals, though having only one fry pan and saucer made certain meals more challenging to pull off.

Professional, clean, and friendly environment. You are treated like family from the moment you arrive. Vanessa (VIP check-in) is top notch. She welcomed us as though we had known each other for a long time. The establishment was clean (rooms, elevators, pools, parking structures). The resort is close to many fine dining and entertainment locations.

We stayed here one night. The room is so junk, outdated and smells. The couch is dirty and torn. Furniture is old. Won't come back nor recommend to anyone. Pool pictures on web is very misleading. Got headache due to smell (I think it's mildew). Shame on Hilton name!

We've stayed at multiple Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs and never had a room experience this poor. Everything felt at least 30-40 years old. Carpets were dingy and matted. Furniture was lumpy, old, uncomfortable and unsightly. The bed was pushed up against the outdoor entrance. The in-room coffee is undrinkable. The bathroom shower head came up to the middle of my chest and hot water would run out. Yet someone they felt emboldened in asking us to attend a presentation for more points. Total joke. The only thing the door person did upon my arrival trying to squeeze three bags and a stroller through the door was ask about a presentation about upgrades. Didn't offer any help or a cart. My brother's family's experience and room were somehow worse.

We had a nicely sized recently refurbished 1 br unit. Pool was very nice. Location was very good for visiting the many sites in the area . Staff was very friendly . This was a timeshare exchange and we were surprised with a “ resort fee “ of $240 which has never happened at any other time share exchange before. The only amenities were the pool and fitness room
