We have stayed in some budget accommodation on our 3 week road trip but they were all ok. This place I wanted to leave the moment I got there. I would have too but my partner insisted we stay as we’d already paid!
The bed was a foam mattress on a wooden pallet so was almost on the floor. The foam was not nice and made it warmer to sleep plus there was a half flannette sheet on for some unknown reason.
The courtyard that we paid extra for was ridiculous, a table and chairs in a dust bowl, with everyone walking past looking in. We had to close the curtains as again everyone could see straight in. Most of the downstairs rooms would be the same.
The room was a good size but no storage space no desk.
The shower was ok but water came out of both heads.
The floor hasn’t been mopped in some time, in my opinion.
I did ask to move rooms the next morning but was told “it was too difficult”.
The first morning they also had the gardeners with blowers going at 8am!
Disappointing

Service was friendly and efficient and rooms are relatively cheap compared to local competitors but the bedroom was old, old-fashioned decoration and fittings . It desperately needs redecoration and modernization. Stale smell throughout three-day stay and carpets were old and stained.

Room was somewhat dingy. Cheap prices aside I would have preferred they took better care of the property. There were food stains on the stairway up to my room all weekend that had not been addressed. There were stains and damage on the walls in the room as well as a bath tub that had been fixed many times and just looked like a patch work solution. Front desk staff are very friendly but the property could use an overhaul on most of the rooms.

We enjoyed three nights at the Travelodge. Most other hotels were charging much higher prices, so we desided to try Travelodge at a superior price. We reserved a premium two queen size room facing the swimming pool. I called ahead before check in to upgrade to a suite. We got the upgrade to king size bed suite and it was great. Again at an exceptionally good value price.
The building is older and exterior looked older. That was fine for our stay since we are not trying to impress anyone.

Staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the view of the grassy field next to the hotel. It was quiet too.

Excellent value, great staff in an older motor inn style. If you need a fancy hotel, this is not for you.

This hotel is in need of MAJOR upgrades ASAP. Cons: Our bed was all springs with scratchy sheets. The shower faucet handle was in two pieces (one for pressure, one for heat). The door didn’t seal. The A/C unit blew the curtains open (which faced an outdoor hallway). The wall outlets wouldn’t hold a cord so we had to use extension cords from the coffee machine and lights. Pros: the A/C cooled well. Large vanity in the bathroom. Fridge and microwave worked.

had requested a non smoking room only to find I had been allocated room 133 which was directly below a smoking room . The smell of the room was disgusting, even after the reception ordered a deep clean the following day. I had to endure 3 nights before I was moved. R133 also had holes in the curtains and the carpet was badly stained , not what I was expecting from a motel with the 'Wyndham' brand. So if you can't find another hotel, sleep in your car!

The staff's attention is good but not the best. The place was clean, but there was no hot water in the showers during the three days we stayed. We reported the issue, and they only told us they had problems, but nothing was ever resolved. Later, at the pool area, there was a Mexican family, the kind that drinks and makes a scene, shouting and cursing without considering the children present. They were drinking and eating in the pool, and the hotel staff never said anything to them, perhaps because of the cheap meat dish they were given. There were other groups of people as well; some Italian friends were also there and they felt very uncomfortable because the pool was treated as if it were their own. It's 11 PM, and those bunch of ghetto Mexicans are still there, tarnishing the hotel's reputation and disturbing other guests with their awful Mexican music. Yes, I'm Mexican too, but I have manners and know how to respect communal areas.

Regarding the room:
There is no phone to reception, and there were no bath towels upon arrival.

If you stay here, please know they’ll charge you before your stay. The room was old, dusty and smelled like mildew. Please look for other accommodations if you can. Stay away. The management says if they charge you already, their system will not allow them to refund you.

Pet-friendly motel with brightly colored exteriors, the Delos Reyes is well-located for visiting both downtown Palm Springs and surrounding towns. Ample free parking and common area with swimming pool and sun loungers. The room was spacious and equipped with an American coffee machine, mini fridge and microwave. We didn't appreciate the few towels provided to us but, once we asked the staff for more, we were immediately satisfied. Cleanliness could be improved.

this place needs a serious facelift. Credit to cleaning staff for making this place feel clean, not an easy task. 1 plug in entire room with extension cords for lights. cant charge phone without unplugging something and even then plug wont stay in wall. door to washroom wouldn't close and at least 5 broken tiles on bathroom floor. A few more stains on the carpet and may have a fancy new modern pattern. I realize this is a budget hotel, however during Modernism they were demanding over $250.00 a night for their rooms as others were sold out. All things in perspective they had a great pool area.
