The perfect men's resort in the desert!
Traveling alone it is always nice to find a welcoming staff. To. Greeted me and gave me the tour. Loved my room and when the had a minor issue with plumbing they moved me seamlessly and upgraded me without cost.
Chris does an amazing breakfast and they served a homemade just right soup every day for lunch.
The property is beautifully maintained...pools kept at 94 degrees the hot tub and steam room always going strong and cleaned daily.
The vibe is friendly and playful as well as peaceful and serene.
Aaron and the other staff members are gracious and have just the right approach to customer service.
The property is almost 40 years old and they are constantly upgrading and changing with the times.
Owner Robert is to be congratulated on keeping this a first class resort in paradise. Can't wait to return!

The Vista Grande Resort was such a great experience. I would 10/10 Recommend if you need a weekend away at this all gay men's resort. The rooms were spacious and super clean and the staff was beyond amazing. The breakfast in the morning was great to enjoy by the pool and you also have the option for lunch by the pool as well. Sanitizer was everywhere all over the resort and the chairs were spaced 6 ft apart. Masks were required while walking around the resort which was great. Tom and Calvin were great and always willing to answer any questions we had or concerns. I'll definitely be looking to stay here again on another weekend.

This was our second trip here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the ground and amenities are well maintained. The bed is comfortable, the rooms are clean and the food is good.

The owners and managers are clearly working hard to keep the property in great shape and providing a fun and relaxing experience for their guests. There are a lot of repeat guests which speaks well to the work of the management

This is a great casual choice for travellers to the Palm Springs area

An initial 2 night stay morphed into a 30-day residence thanks to the kindness and generosity of the staff who are working creatively and with vision to make things “go” under pandemic pressures. The steam room was understandably closed but the hot tub was hot (and sexy) and the pools heated. They were perfect for both midnight swims and ogling all that flesh during daytime. Vista Grande’s landscaping is lush and well tended. The grounds are spacious with plenty of paths and spaces to roam. If you’re frisky or reserved, there’s a room to match your mood.

The staff was a great resource for travel/restaurant/advice and the location was great for me as a First time visitor to Palm Springs. Grocery store was near and so was
Downtown.

I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

“10’s across the board”

This is our little piece of paradise. It has been 3 years since last we stayed here and Tom and his crew never disappoint. Even with the current state of affairs with the global pandemic everything was as enjoyable as always! Ralph’s is less than a 5 minute drive for groceries so I was able to prepare home cooked meals for my husband in the full kitchen in our one bedroom cottage! We HIGHLY recommend this piece of California Paradise!

My husband and I decided on a nice getaway for our anniversary, and since I'm not a Key West kind of guy, we figured Palm Springs, off season, was a nice change of pace. While July can get pretty hot, we still enjoyed the 2 pools (24 hour access, the grotto and other amenities. The staff was amazing, and between a very decent breakfast, and satisfying lunch, we were only left to having to provide ourselves dinner, which was a nice change of scenery. The grounds are well cared for thanks to a great crew, and the tropical feel made it a pleasure to wander the grounds. The rooms were clean (with a complete kitchen) and they were always on top of any issues if anything were occur. If you plan a trip, take a look at the layout, and find a room that works for you. I could basically roll out of bed and wander out the door to the pool. So whether it's for a big event (which I'm sure is amazing) or a quiet get-away, definitely give them a go. We'll be going back again, for both!

My husband and I decided to stay in town a few extra days with another couple after the rest of our friends went home. We previously had a house rented so we needed to find a new place to stay. We went online and found Vista Grande which had some great recent reviews.
Upon our check-in we knew we had made a good choice. I cannot say enough about Tom and Ernesto who work at the front desk. They make you feel so welcome and appreciated. Every member of the staff went out of their way to say hi and asked if you needed anything.
The grounds were very well kept and the pools were sparkling clean. Our room was a bit dated but it was VERY clean. The continental breakfast was the best it could be due to regulations on what and how things can be served due to COVID. I ordered the box lunch twice and was not disappointed. The cookie alone was worth ordering it!
The other guests were very nice, outgoing, and there to relax and have a great time. This was exactly what we needed before returning to our normal routine and cold weather on the east coast. We will definitely be coming back to stay on our next trip.

Spent a long weekend here with my husband over my birthday this year. It’s our second time staying and it’s always really great. The staff is incredibly friendly and always available. The breakfast is much more than a basic continental breakfast and there was an option to order a lunch to your room as well. The grounds are gorgeous - both pools and the hot tub are well maintained and everything is clean and very pretty. The other guests were all friendly. Was even given a small gift in my room for my birthday! Would definitely recommend as a relaxing spot for your clothing-optional stay in Palm Springs!

I had a terrific time at Vista Grande this past weekend. The town has just re-opened from a COVID-19 lockdown, and the good news is that everyone seems to be taking things very seriously. That was true around town, at outside dining locations, and at the resort. Masks were worn in public places, and for the most part the other guests were very thoughtful about personal space.

The property is gorgeous. I've been here before, many years ago, and I can say for certain that they've done a beautiful job of fixing up the property and making it beautiful. The grounds were stunning and clean. The room was comfortable. Think Mid Century but nicely updated for comfort.

The highlight, however, would have to be the great folks who work at Vista Grande. Mike and Tom made the trip really fun with their attentive service, their kindness, and their generosity. They are the kinds of employees that make a difference, and clearly I'm a convert and will be staying here in the future.

Hi - this was our first visit to a clothing optional resort and we shared the same concerns. We had a great time. Pretty laid back and many opportunities for conversations with other guests. Plus the staff was friendly and very helpful. Hope this helps.
