Thirteen lushly planted acres in a desert climate is probably the most defining and remembered quality of one's stay here at this luxury resort. Sense of place is shaped by walking these planted paths beneath arches of green, through tunnels of hedgerow that periodically open up to the spread of a lawn, the shade of a tree, a cluster of tall pampas grass or a court of palms. A fire circle, a tiled fountain, fruit trees and herb gardens -- hammocks, strung between palm trees, hidden niches -- just some of the finds along the way. Whether exploring the entire weave of walkways throughout the Estate or simply following the path that takes you from your room to breakfast at Norma's, a drink at the MiniBar or a poolside chaise, they are their own suspended moments -- sometimes heavy with scent in the night air, bright with morning sun overhead, or thick with the warmth of a late afternoon.

The Parker Palm Springs is often celebrated for its elegant amenities, such as the inviting warm pool and beautifully manicured grounds, and guests are particularly impressed with the hotel's cleanliness, noting the spotless conditions and pleasant scents. While the hotel's atmosphere is recognized for its stylish decor and chic vibe, some guests have faced inconsistencies with room quality and service, experiencing noise issues, occasional disorganization, and service lapses.
Despite these hiccups, the opulent bathrooms and overall ambience often leave a positive impression, although the cost is sometimes questioned in terms of value.

My wife and I came for our anniversary and had an amazing time! The restaurants are fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is unbeatable! The hot dog at counter-reformation is one of the best I’ve ever had. The service by the pool makes it the perfect place to chill during the summer.

The Parker Palm Springs is a genuine gem. It is where you can find a truly immersive experience...dive into a Wes Anderson movie scene. There is eclectic art in every corner of this property. Beautifully designed with the artful eye of Jonathan Adler mixed with the perfect blending of meandering natural pathways leading you to majestic Bali like pools, European Lemondade stands to a one of a kind Spa. Each bite and sip at Norma's and the Mini Bar lounge will entice all of your senses. The thing that stood out the most is the special staff. The exemplary teamwork to serve guests professionally but in a warm and friendly manner was a perfect balance of space/privacy and attentiveness. Everytime I looked up I was attended to. Front desk Managers Peter and Jeffrey helped us resolve some noise issues due to unavoidable solar panel installation seamlessly with a generous room upgrade to an amazing poolside room. Erin at the mini bar made us feel special and her Pink Heather drink was transcending. She remembered my husband from his visit last year...amazing service. Matt the outdoor grounds Manager and all of his staff including Ernie our pool attendant were so sweet and accommodating and had a towel ready for me before my kids even knew they needed one. We came to celebrate our artistic son's 8th birthday and left fully rested and with an amazing basket of memories to cherish. We are definitely going to return for more.

This is really a cool hotel to experience. The grounds are lovely with the gardens and foliage. Not what you expect to see in the desert. The public areas such as the lounge area, 2 swimming pools and a small 6 seater bar counter were great. The rooms were well designed and with ample space. Bathrooms are due for a renovation as are a bit dated and def not upscale. I have a couple of rubs here which prevent a 5 star rating. This is our second time here and both times trying to get a drink in the lobby area seating area took forever. And I mean forever. There was one person working both times which clearly is insufficient. They miss out on so much business. We watched this group of 8 waiting to get a drink for 20-30 minutes. They kept turning their heads trying to flag her down. Enough is enough and they left. The other thing is coffee in the morning. When you pay what you do to stay here there should be a complimentary coffee stand outside the restaurant where you can get your coffee and be on your way. Nope. Need to go in to the restaurant area and they clip you $6 for a cup of coffee! I hate nickel and diming when you are already paying top dollar. Customer service besides the lounge area was top notch. Very friendly, courteous and helpful.

This was my second time returning to this property; this was our two year anniversary that we were celebrating. As always, the grounds were lovely. The food is a bit pricey, but I like to think that’s what comes with this high end experience. Our negative experience was that we were accused of taking two throw pillows from the hotel room and charged 700 dollars without calling to consult us. Management has still not reached out to us after we disputed and reached out to them about this. The management has shown us how flawed they are in resolving conflict. We also had issues with noise at 6am with what seemed like a mechanical issue that woke us up. Additionally, house keeping kept removing our personal dog bowls from the room and we had to keep calling to track down our property.

+1
The Parker Palm Springs is top notch. From the moment you arrive you are treated very well by all of the staff. Everyone is friendly, polite and helpful. We visited the Lemonade Stand for fantastic refreshments, Mr. Parker for a delicious dinner, Norma’s for the best fish tacos, and the lobby bar for crafty drinks with our favorite bartender, Tony. I love that room service comes later throughout the day so you don’t feel pressured to get up and go. Also, the nightly turn down service is magical. Fresh towels and slippers placed just so when you return from dinner is such a nice touch. I can’t recommend The Parker enough. The hospitality makes it impossible to stay anywhere else!

Parker looks great in the pictures, but that’s about it. They were completely empty when we went and we asked for an upgrade. They told us we had to pay $200+ a night for an upgrade if we wanted one. We ended up sticking to the room we had initially paid for, which was a deluxe room, but got a room that had no light in the shower so you’re stuck showering in the dark. When we complained about this we were told they would send an electrician to the room to fix it. Then I was told that all the deluxe rooms don’t have lights in the shower but they could downgrade me to a worse room that does have a light in the shower. Finally they conceded to comping my breakfast charge as an “apology.”
Some apology because they charged me not only once, but TWICE for that $100 breakfast on my credit card. They claimed to refund the claim but haven’t, which is why I will be disputing the claim with them.
In general the room was cute but not cleaned thoroughly. Also worth mentioning that mosquitos are swarming all over the property and you will get eaten alive by them. After I got three bites in 10 minutes the staff gave me some bug spray.

After reading many reviews, I was anxious to bring my two small children with me for a family wedding at the Parker, but the hotel and staff were absolutely wonderful. We paid for an upgraded room at the time we booked to accommodate a room that would fit a couple, a two year old, and an infant. Our room was large and well appointed to accommodate our family. The staff was also incredibly attentive ensuring all of our needs were met. There is no doubt that the hotel is expensive - especially during peak season, but I felt like our experience matched the price of the room. My only feedback for the hotel would be to have some additional food options besides Norma’s/room service. A small cafe or a place for grab and go items would be super helpful.

The review by TXMMc a few days ago really said it all. Flying home from Palm Springs as I write this. I have stayed at many hotels around the world at the $1,000 price point and the Parker was a major disappointment. After one night in the north building we asked to be moved into the south building where the bathrooms had been update. To say the bathroom in the original room needed updated is an understatement. It was downright unhealthy with black mold growing on the pvc pipes under the sink and moldy dust bunnies dropping from the fan when turned on. The pool situation was also unacceptable. The adult pool is dated and needs to be torn up along with all the overgrown landscaping around it. Only maybe 10 seats in the sun at any given point in time during the day. The other pool is newer, smallish and like a daycare filled with many children. Mr Parker speakeasy was the highlight.

It’s hard to make every guest feel truly special but they nail that here at the Parker, wow! The concierge is amazing, they can arrange what ever you need thru daily texts to check up on you. The pool service is fun And absolutely amazing, the valet guys rock. Even with one restaurant and the spa closed we still feel as tho it was worth the price tag. The only thing I’d say is that they could update the showers and new beds ( they Weren’t uncomfortable) but could be better. We stayed in the hammock room but when we come back we will stay at a pool patio room, the second pool is where it’s at! So fun, thank you!

The grounds are stunning. The food and cocktails are creative and delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The toiletries were high end. The room decor was stunning. The spa is one of the most fun and beautiful I've seen, I enjoyed a 90 minute massage and it was worth every penny. I was a little concerned that our room was off the pool that allowed children, but noise wasn't a factor at all. Can't recommend this hotel enough, thank you Parker!

The Parker does not have a shuttle service. Rent a car if you want to see the surrounding areas. It is very easy to navigate and the roads are excellent. Use Uber or Lyft. I asked the bellman to call a taxi and it was a 20 minute wait. The bellman said no one around there used taxis. Used Uber on the way back and it was super quick.
I was there in July 2019 and the parking was included in the compulsory resort fee. So no, there’s no extra charge for parking. It’s valet too which is nice.
I am not sure. I stayed in a room.
