We really enjoyed the Del Marcos. It has a cool mid-century vibe and is in a great location - walkable to downtown Palm Springs, but on a quiet street with the stunning mountain view behind it. Fun decor, clean, with the pool right outside most of the rooms. Pleasant service as well. My only complaint is that we paid what I think is a high rate for a fairly simple place - about $450/night. I expected something more high end for that price. I looked at the rates for the week after we stayed and they were around $180-$250, more the range I would expect for this hotel. Not sure why prices were so high when we booked. So if you can get it for $250/night or less, you have a good value.

Thanks for the kind words about our property. We have worked hard to preserve it's mid-century integrity. Our rates do tend to fluctuate based on the season and demand as do most hotels in Palm Springs. We hope to welcome you back again very soon.

This was our first trip to Palm Springs- and we loved it! Originally, we were booked at one of the big chain hotels. No sooner had I made the reservation, when my partner started having second thoughts about staying at a large hotel with lots of people and small children. So, I cancelled the reservation and booked us for 6 nights at the Del Marcos. We were a bit nervous going in, as we have never stayed anywhere this small before, however- pretty much everything was great. There are only 17 rooms on the property, so you never have to worry about it being crowded. The pool is a dream, and we spent our mornings and afternoons there every day. Breakfast and happy hour were well laid out, nothing extravagant but more than adequate. We stayed in the Bill Cody room. I think it’s

We absolutely loved our stay at the Del Marcos Hotel. I just knew when we arrived that we had made the best choice. We were looking to experience the mid-century vibe of Palm Springs and this hotel delivered in every aspect. The rooms were super cool and all dressed in furniture and decor to represent the era. Loved the adorable kitchen, Eames chairs, private patio, luxurious bedding and towels. The beds were comfortable, but not great. This would be our only negative comment as every other items on our list was perfect. We loved the quiet setting with the mountain views and the complimentary cruiser bikes. The Happy Hour was definitely our highlight everyday from 4-5pm by the pool. And, the complimentary breakfast bar. Every detail was carefully curated from the

Spent 5 nights at this beautiful hotel and didn’t want to leave. The location is perfect, just moments to the bars, shops and restaurants. We had a large spacious room complete with kitchenette, the bed was super comfy too. A light breakfast is available and you can help yourself to coffee all day. Rose is an exceptional member of staff and takes real pride in her work, she’s totally on the ball with everything that’s going on.

A lovely quiet old style hotel with rooms facing the pool. It is an old property so don't expect a decent bathroom! The issue is that it has lost it's raison d'etre I think. Gone are the little things that elevated it to something special; the breakfast was a shadow of what it used to be (thing light rather than continental) and the evening drinks were the same (think plastic food compared to the treats they used to send over from the restaurant next door and no bubbles on Sunday). The problem is it is a very expensive place to stay and without those little special elements you are left with an old decaying place with dreadful bathrooms. Hate to say it but why wouldn't you then stay in a modern hotel if they aren't offering anything different?

We're sorry to hear we didn't meet your expectations. We still offer an amazing breakfast and have a happy hour that most guests rave about. Our prices do fluctuate based on the time of year and we're currently in the busiest time of year. We do suggest your next visit is during a slower time where you will find lower rates.

I thought this hotel was really special. It felt like a slice of history and I fully appreciate the preservation of this unique hotel. Lots of great details; breakfast bar with great coffee, happy hour beverages and snacks, and very helpful staff. We also dined next door at Azucar which was outstanding. Even the music by the pool was the perfect vibe. We also used several of the bikes that are available to guests and pedaled to the Night Market around the corner. We will definitely stay at Del Marcos for a future vacation.

Have stayed here 4 times and hope to come back at least that many. Love the vibe and inclusiveness, and of course décor. What stood out was the over-the-top helpful and friendly service by Rose. She was very accommodating to my requests (dinner rez, use of microwave, late check out if needed..) and engaging to chat with. Helped to make us feel very comfortable in this special hotel. The Brut at check in for being a returning guest--even though it's been too long!- was a nice touch and much appreciated.

This was our second stay at the gem of a mid-century hotel in Palm Springs. The Del Marcos has everything, comfy and spacious rooms with a mix of original and updated mid-century mod styling, a perfect pool, yummy breakfast and happy hour offerings, attentive staff, cruiser bikes for rides through eye-popping neighborhoods and easy access to restaurants and shops. I can recommend both the Christopher Kennedy and Albert Frey rooms and I'm sure the rest are just as wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

Great location 1 block off Palm Springs prime business and entertainment district. Great staff, especially Edgar at after-hours check-in for providing a thorough tour and tips and Cornelio the waiter at the sister property La Serana's restaurant, Azucar. Rooms are clean, mid-century mod, and all situated around a central courtyard with a pool that features low-volume lounge music during the day. We were in the E. Stewart Williams room which opens directly to the pool level. The included continental breakfast and happy hour were better than expected.

We loved this place. Super cool. Retro chic without being kitschy. Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious and very cute. We love seeing the old mid century buildings cared for so well. The absolute best thing about this place is it incredible location. Once we got here from the airport we barely needed the car at all. You can literally walk to anything you would want to go to in town. Just a couple of blocks from the museum and you could throw a stone and hit multiple restaurants. You have to check this place out.
