An adorably retro and historic hotel with wonderful staff. While lounging poolside you can enjoy food and cocktails. However, to save some cash, you can also wait for happy hour, which features free drinks and food. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We slept great on the bed. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to everything. There is also on site parking. Really cant go wrong with a visit to the Del Marcos!

This small over 21s retro hotel is surely THE place to stay in Palm Springs. We stayed there in 2017 and were so taken with it, we planned the itinerary for our 2022 trip to stay there again. Lazing by the pool with 50s music softly playing and a 'no phone' rule takes you back in time. Complementary drinks/cocktails and nibbles at 4pm tops the day off. Then there is a related restaurant next door or others only a few minutes walk away.

Loved our stay at this perfect retro MCM hotel! The front desk staff were great, Rose in particular went out of her way to chat with us as we came in after a day away. She gave us Great suggestions on restaurants, hikes in the area, walking trips, etc. The cocktail hour every day 4-5pm was such a nice touch! It was the time the guests all chatted and it felt like a welcome back every day. The place is spotless, maintenance was always being done overnight it seemed, as we’d get up on the morning to freshly made pool chairs and towels. The funky vibe of each individual room was really fun. Will be back! And I hope Rose will still work at the hotel!

This was a great small hotel. It was in a perfect location - close to all the action, but far enough away to be quiet. It was within a 3 minute walk from the main strip in PS, but felt a million miles away. The woman at the front desk was so helpful - I am sorry I don't remember her name! She was awesome! The restaurant at the sister property next door was also excellent. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at Del Marcos Hotel, and it has quickly become our favorite annual getaway! Love the mid century modern decor of the rooms, which all have their own personalities! The amenities are fab: Morning breakfast muffins, croissants, fruit, yogurt, juice and coffee are perfect, and the 4pm happy hour of chips, guac, hummus, pita, carrots, olives, crackers and cocktails is a nice treat! When we were at the pool, fresh margaritas were brought to us! We love the pool and outdoor firepit lounge area where you can chat with other warm, happy guests. Complementary bikes are available to take around the neighborhood to tour the beautiful homes, including Elvis' honeymoon hideaway and Liberace's home. It really is a perfect getaway!

Staying at The Del Marco is a really fantastic experience. It’s such a relaxing place right from check In and to ordering food and a lovely happy hour between 4 and 5 pm! We had the Johnny Costa room which has a bit of a view of the mountains, it was clean, spacious and had a comfy bed. We also had a chairs and a table out front to sit and relax in the sun. The pool area is really relaxing, clean with everything on hand all the time. It’s even open from 8am to 11pm! All the food & drinks come from the Azucar restaurant next door which is a high quality restaurant / bar. Breakfast is from 8 am and it’s basic has everything you need from delicious drinks to fresh fruit and oats. Parking is really easy as there is a few spaces that belong to the hotel on site however most of the streets or around are all free parking too. The location is also a fantastic benefit of the Del Marco Hotel. Within five minutes of leaving the hotel you could be sat down having a drink or food very easily many restaurants in the downtown area. We definitely used to hire car less than we thought due to the fantastic location. Overall we had a beautiful break here and we are already looking at when we can return!

We really enjoyed the Del Marcos. It has a cool mid-century vibe and is in a great location - walkable to downtown Palm Springs, but on a quiet street with the stunning mountain view behind it. Fun decor, clean, with the pool right outside most of the rooms. Pleasant service as well. My only complaint is that we paid what I think is a high rate for a fairly simple place - about $450/night. I expected something more high end for that price. I looked at the rates for the week after we stayed and they were around $180-$250, more the range I would expect for this hotel. Not sure why prices were so high when we booked. So if you can get it for $250/night or less, you have a good value.

Thanks for the kind words about our property. We have worked hard to preserve it's mid-century integrity. Our rates do tend to fluctuate based on the season and demand as do most hotels in Palm Springs. We hope to welcome you back again very soon.

This was our first trip to Palm Springs- and we loved it! Originally, we were booked at one of the big chain hotels. No sooner had I made the reservation, when my partner started having second thoughts about staying at a large hotel with lots of people and small children. So, I cancelled the reservation and booked us for 6 nights at the Del Marcos. We were a bit nervous going in, as we have never stayed anywhere this small before, however- pretty much everything was great. There are only 17 rooms on the property, so you never have to worry about it being crowded. The pool is a dream, and we spent our mornings and afternoons there every day. Breakfast and happy hour were well laid out, nothing extravagant but more than adequate. We stayed in the Bill Cody room. I think it’s the only room which does not face the pool. The entrance is on the front of the hotel and separate from all the other rooms. While it was nice being away from everyone- this is a landmark hotel and as such- tourists come by to take pictures. More than once we were relaxing in our room and people were in front of our door taking photos. I found that to be very rude and intrusive. That said, most everything about the room was fine- except for the pillows on the bed. I did not sleep well at all and woke up with a sore neck each morning. The pillows were way too soft. Location-wise, it can’t be beat. You’re only a few blocks from downtown Palm Springs and within walking distance to many bars, restaurants and attractions. You’re about 15-20 minutes from the airport. It wasn’t always easy to find an Uber or Lyft early in the morning, but no problem later in the day. Hotel staff was always helpful and friendly. The cleaning crew did a great job on our room, and we never needed anything extra or had to call them to come back and correct anything. WI-FI internet access was super-fast and stable. The TV in the room was pretty small and a bit dated, but we weren’t there to watch TV so, it didn’t bother us. I pack a streaming stick when I travel, so we used that to watch Netflix and chill. All in all, we really liked this hotel and plan on returning next year and booking one of the other rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Del Marcos Hotel. I just knew when we arrived that we had made the best choice. We were looking to experience the mid-century vibe of Palm Springs and this hotel delivered in every aspect. The rooms were super cool and all dressed in furniture and decor to represent the era. Loved the adorable kitchen, Eames chairs, private patio, luxurious bedding and towels. The beds were comfortable, but not great. This would be our only negative comment as every other items on our list was perfect. We loved the quiet setting with the mountain views and the complimentary cruiser bikes. The Happy Hour was definitely our highlight everyday from 4-5pm by the pool. And, the complimentary breakfast bar. Every detail was carefully curated from the esthetics to the warm staff and overall experience. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable stay, I would highly recommend this hotel. It's close to Palm Canyon Road where you will find restaurants and shops. Love Love Love!!!!! Can't wait to go back!! Thanks for the experience! Jeff and Karen Malcolm, Vancouver, B.C.
