From the beautifully designed property grounds to the thoughtful room design, my stay at Casa Cody could not have been better. I especially loved the tile used in the large studio room – terra cotta floor tile and a lovely deep blue glazed tile in the shower and kitchen area. It was a joy to wake up to the birds chirping and watching the sun light up the mountains. Casa Cody is only a few blocks from the main road through Palm Springs, but just far enough away to be an oasis of calm. The entire staff was warm and friendly, and I appreciated the fresh baked croissants and delicious grapefruit juice at breakfast. If I'm ever back in Palm Springs, I will definitely stay here again. Thanks to all at Casa Cody for making my stay so wonderful!
I am not a big review writing kind a guy but after my stay at Casa Cody, I felt compelled to offer my review. In the past have often been a guest of The Parker but with no availability for the dates I was staying in Palm Springs, I was forced to locate a different spot to chill and decompress. Casa Cody is a very special place and this will be my spot in future escapes to Palm Springs. The rooms are actually more luxurious than the Parker and the service is multiple times better. Kennet and Diana were more professional and attentive than I have experienced in 5 star luxury retreats that cost triple. Seriously, no exaggeration! I felt they sincerely cared about offering the best possible treatment. Every detail was taken care of. The multiple pools and secluded location with the backdrop of the mountains in the back was something magical. The place was completely renovated and the investment can be felt in every detail. Seriously folks, even breakfast was made with love. In conclusion, if you are looking for a secluded place that makes you feel like a rockstar, then look no further. Casa Cody is my new home away from home in Palm Springs.…
An excellent location for walking to all the restaurants. One of the original property’s with plenty of history. Unique rooms..some still old style tiles for flooring and counter tops in some room…very comfortable beds…simple breakfast of fresh fruit, cereal topping, yogurt, croissants, and perfect blended coffee- strong but smooth. No coffee or tea in room but they bring it to you on request or you may stop by at front desk. We did adults family vacation. Relax by pool with lunches after local hikes and walked every evening to the restaurants. Will book again!
The Good: The grounds and birds are wonderful. The service is friendly. The breakfast is better than the old days. The bed is outstanding. The hot tub actually works. Bicycles are available. The Bad:The construction noise. The spartan furnishings in the room. The piped in music to the pool. Parking is tight. The Ugly: The $30 "Resort Fee." The $100 pet fee per visit.
At present the bathtub in the house is not functional, there is a built in stopper that is broken, I asked over NYE for a plug and was told there wasn’t one. This would be fine if it was mentioned at check in and I didn’t find out as I was getting ready to take a bath. For almost $1000 Per Night I found it not only strange but negligent. That price point usually warrants excellent service. Similarly, we had to ask for cups, there were none in the full kitchen or bathroom, not a single fork, mug or plate and again we were not told this at check in. A simple “all flatware etc is upon request” would have been helpful. The breakfast is simple/fine. The property is nice, parking when the hotel is full or on a busy weekend takes a few extra minutes. I am hesitant to book again.
