Stayed here two nights over New Years and had a fabulous time. I have been to the property many times over the years for various events and meetings but never actually stayed overnight so this was a treat. The valet staff got our stay off to a lovely start with their courteous, professional manner and attempt to go above & beyond. One of them (so sorry I forgot his name) even lugged around multiple heavy heat lamps to where we were sitting outside on the patio one evening as it was a bit chilly. They are efficient and super friendly--especially Jon, Abel and Charles. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and check-in was seamless. Our room was gorgeous and the complimentary bottle of Angeline Chardonnay was a nice surprise. We appreciated all of the extra space in the bathroom and the plush robes, too. Coffee and pastries at Blend each morning were on-point and the little gift shop has some really cute things. The property is definitely taking Covid precautions (i.e., the staff wears masks at all times, guests are required to wear masks in public spaces, etc..,) but it's not over-the-top intrusive. You still feel like you are on vacation. When it was sadly time to check-out, Steve the bellman was super helpful and personable. We certainly appreciated the VIP treatment from everyone. Even the maintenance/facilities worker who happened to be passing by when we discovered we forgot our keys and were locked out of the room. After this stay, we are definitely BBC fans for life.…
A fabulous experience from beginning to end, and I cannot wait to return. Isaiah at check in was fantastic; our room was sparkling clean + spacious; hygiene throughout the hotel was outstanding; the pool was refreshing; A&O Kitchen +Bar was lovely (ate there twice, and Johnny took excellent care of us both times). Thank you for running such a wonderful property. Everyone deserves to be commended for delivering a topnotch experience.
From the moment you arrive to the time of departure, you are treated like a celebrity. The staff is professional and always accommodating. The private gym was open by appointment only, thus we had sole use of the gym for two hours. The restaurant and bar are great for people watching. Drinks are on the pricey side but a great view during the day time. Live music on certain nights. The rooms are plush and big. Great location to food, shopping, and site seeing.
Horrible experience. Room Service took 2 Hours when my brother arrived from LA. This weekend was a gift from me to him for Xmas. So I wanted his experience to be perfect. He must have called over 4+ times to find out where it was, while we were opening (or trying to) gifts in the room and trying to watch the boat parade. They said they took it to the wrong room. But it was still 2 hours late. Finally at least they comped us for it; but it seriously. Put a damper on our xmas gift opening, as he was so hungry he was VERY low blood sugar by the time it arrived. Paid for a Winter Wonderland Package which was a HUGE disappointment and not worth it. They say they refunded me, but I will see. I paid over $2k for 2 Bay View Rooms and one was a gift to my Brother, Wife and Nephew for Xmas and they charged his card vs. mine for the room, when he put his card down ONLY for incidentals. I had even called 4 days in advance of our reservation and put my fiance's card in place of mine for one of the rooms, and that change never happened. Asked them to reverse the $980 charge to my brother's card upon checkout and the girl at the front desk left me standing there for over 20 mins (with no updates). Finally, my fiance came in and demanded I leave with him, so problem is STILL NOT RESOLVED. I am beyond frustrated. Any resort in the world, should EASILY be able to reverse a charge on one card, and put it on another card. When I asked the bell boy where the front desk girl was, after she left me standing there for over 20 mins, he said "they are on the phone trying to get the charge reversed". (SIGH.....Seriously!?) Super-frustrating and disappointing. An upscale resort like this should not have this kind of Customer Experience. Won't be back.…
This Resort is EXQUISITE⚓️🛳🏩💘!! The grounds are beautiful & the rooms are DELUXE!! I was a Flight Attendant for a Worldwide Airline & had the opportunity to stay at terrific properties- however this is the MOST EXQUISITE💘🏩!! Separate Bath & Shower with in room robe & bath salts. I felt so VERY, VERY spoiled! I will return & feel like a Queen💘!!
