Excellent location, we walked just minutes to get to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row shops, etc.. The Victorian theme runs throughout the hotel and works, very well appointed. Lobby and breakfast area is a nice look and vibe. The continental breakfast was pretty good, some hot food available but mostly bakery & coffee when we went in Sept 2021. Nice staff, when all the luggage carts were gone on the morning of our departure, we called the front desk, and someone immediately found one for us to use. Parking on first floor underground, luggage carts available, little patio in room, nice courtyard areas, large room with sitting area and fireplace. Refrigerator. Didn't notice if there was a microwave. It was a "Best Western" when we first booked but is no longer a BW. Hallways are "well used" but price was also not super high like the hotels just a short block away so small price to pay for much better rate. Highly recommend.…

Excellent property, conveniently located two blocks from the shoreline/Cannery Row. Walking distance to the Monterey Bay Aquarium as well as historic Fishermans Wharf. Complimentary hot breakfast and afternoon wine hour. Clean rooms, comfy bet and fireplace in room. Covered guest parking (fee).

The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast is terrific; wine and cheese hour too!. Loved the location - near everything and walkable. Hotel buildings have unique details in the rooms and the main "house" building is lovely. The grounds are beautifully maintained with lush plants. My second time here and I will definitely be back.

I almost did not book this Inn since the reviews seemed too good to be true! I booked it anyway, and to my surprise, it was wonderful. On our arrival we were greeted with a smile by the warm and professional front desk personnel who provided us with all the information we needed. The room was delightful and comfortable and attention to detail was much appreciated, such as two chairs in the room (usually 1), a night light in the bathroom, soft close toilet seat, thoughtful toiletries. In addition, the full breakfast was delicious. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this little gem of a hotel.

Our room at the Inn was spacious and very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast the next day was so delicious and the waffle machine made my morning. There was such a large variety of choice fresh fruit, waffles cereals hot and cold drinks, by far my most memorable breakfast from the Inns we had stayed at! Location was also perfect! Apologies in advance for the images we arrived late in the evening!

We wanted to experience something different on our CA-1 Road Trip this summer and are so glad that we found the Victorian Inn in Monterey. The hotel is clean and charming. Our girls loved the vaulted ceilings and fireplace in our room. The location is extremely convenient to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. We found the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. We only wish we'd have been able to stay longer! I'd recommend the Victorian Inn to anyone traveling in Northern CA.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Victorian Inn. It is located with a few blocks walk of the acquarium and all the sights of Cannery Row. There are a lot of nice low key restaurants around the hotel, with Thai and Sushi close by. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The wine and cheese hour was fun and the breakfast everymorning was quality. Its a great place to stay when visiting the aquarium and Cannery row...and a good launching point for other sites in the Monterey area.

We stayed here one night and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was huge and included a fireplace. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I did hear the people talking next door very clearly, but they didn't talk to late and after that it was very quiet. The breakfast was good as well.

My daughter travels all over creation for her job, and leisure. She told me this was absolutely THE hotel to stay in in Monterey, and she was absolutely right! The rooms were spotless, and came equipped with big, comfortable beds, microwave, mini fridge, etc., there’s a nice patio area to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, AND a gas fireplace. It was so awesome to be able to sit in comfortable chairs, sip wine, and enjoy a glowing fireplace. The complimentary breakfast had an amazing variety of choices available for all guests. The staff was friendly, check in and check out painless. The location is ideal - within walking distance of many shops, and restaurants. I truly enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend Victorian Inn if you’re traveling to the Monterey area.
