This is an old hotel I need of a makeover which they are working on and to be fair the check in was efficient and the rooms large and the beds comfortable- parking and B/ast is extra but the staff and the restaurant was good and they were friendly

This hotel is a show-stopper in every sense of the word. Everything in my line of sight looked to be brand new and the staff was amazing. Over my 3 night stay I ate on property 2 nights it was so good. Painting perfect pictures in reviews like this almost never works but the level of peace I felt staying here is otherworldly. Will be back soon! Keep up the great work!

We’ve never stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn before so we did not know what to expect. The staff was excellent. They saw that I had a temporary mobility problem and recommended an ADA room. This was very smart as it was closest to the (very attractive) lobby, elevator and parking garage (and our car). They did not fool around with free breakfast, which we usually pass on and instead had more attractive grounds and outdoor facilities. We really enjoyed our visit

This HGI is much improved from a few years ago when I stayed there. Is was really due for a renovation that seems to be completed. Room was nice but not enough lamps. Beautiful pool area with fire-pit. Front desk staff I encountered were not very friendly. Decent location. Strange layout but I got used to it…pick your room carefully though. Biggest complaint is the cost of breakfast. I am Hilton Diamond for Life and stay in Hilton Garden Inn’s weekly and this was the highest breakfast cost I have seen anywhere! I get a daily food and beverage credit of $10 which usually covers my breakfast, or almost does (which it’s supposed to do) but didn’t even come close here. Will likely go back to staying at the Hampton Inn or Embassy Suites nearby.

A solid hotel located close to downtown. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were great with a large vanity and bigger shower. Solid TV options and a comfortable bed. My business group gathered at the pool each afternoon/evening. Security guard chased us out at 10pm when the pool closed. Wish the hours for the pool were a little longer. Breakfast was very good - buffet and order from the menu. Lobby area and bar were nice. Located close to downtown and not far from the water. A little pricey, but not a bad value overall. I wish more parking was available given the parking charge. Overall really enjoyed the stay.

Elevator out of order, yet clerk directed us to that elevator. No wifi. Very noisy. Thin floors, so we heard steps above us constantly. $19 to park, which you only find out about at check in. I will never stay here again.

We planned an overnight with our adult son, getting 2 rooms, thinking there would be common spaces, i.e. a lobby and sitting areas, to catch up. We were wrong and surprised, the hotel is going through a second phase of renovations, not disclosed on the website. The lobby was closed, and there were no sitting areas, other than the pool and the exercise room was closed. When I called the front desk, the person said we could sit at the pool, not comfortable when it was 57* F. The overnight accommodations had been previously renovated...interesting decor, though whoever chose the lack of lighting should reimburse the hotel for their "services." The rooms were so dark, making it impossible to work or be comfortable. Ironically, the person checking out ahead of us complained about the lack of lighting. The staff, especially the omelet maker, were friendly, certainly not indicative of management's inadequacy. …

Stopped for one night on road trip from San Francisco to LA Nice large rooms, slight 90s feel and probably ready for an update, staff all very pleasant and we had a good evening meal at the bar. Had a walk to the beach and pier, was about 30mins and involved crossing a major road.
