Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Quiet stay, the hotel is on the ground floor, you can leave your car in front of the room or very close by. The room is large, it just has very old decor and furniture, classic from those road hotels in the USA. Still, a good option for those who are passing through and will not stay in the city, as the hotel is 2km away from the center of Monterey. We checked in at night and everything went smoothly. Good service. There is no breakfast.

I travel over 100 days a year for my job and stay exclusively in Wyndham properties, so I review each one. The parking lot was clean and well lit on arrival. Check in went smoothly. My room, a king single, was clean, with a comfortable bed and awesome pillows. All of the stated amenities were in place, such as the microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee maker. My air conditioner/heater worked well. The television had a good selection of channels and a nice picture. The breakfast area was clean and they kept bringing fresh items. Despite being an older property the rooms are very nice, you can tell the owners care about the hotel and guests. I do not get out this way often but I would certainly stay here again if needed.

Our first Wyndham Hotel in Monterey was booked, so Super 8 Wyndham was our other option for a reasonable price. Super 8 was very clean and bed was comfortable and AC worked well. I recommend this place if a couple is driving through and needed a place to rest for the night. We had dinner at Old Fisherman's Grotto in Fisherman's Wharf and if you don't mind waiting for over an hour 1/2, the food and service will not disappoint and cost is reasonable as well.

The room was clean and basic. Had a coffee maker for 1 cup at a time and the coffee 17was not very good. The breakfast we got was n Nutrigrain bar and a bottle of water.. Itt had only 17 or 18 rooms so was a small hotel. Very close to an airport with private or company jets flying out usually early in the morning. Would stay somewhere else next trip to Monterey. Daily room cleaning was available only on request.

A good place in location to Monterey and visiting the area. Only a one night stop on the way through to San Francisco so not looking for the high life. Clean and spacious, guy on the front desk extremely quiet and minimal conversation in checking in and out.

I stayed at this Hotel over the July 4th weekend. The prices seemed higher because of the Holiday weekend but I was ready to relax. Unfortunately, I had ants in the bathroom sink in Room 102. The wi-fi connection was also very spotty. I won’t be returning.

this motel is clean. You can smell bed sheets to be clean. downside u have to air out the smell of the room even the reception area. cleaning lady is nice. close to restaurants. Location not walkable to downtown.

Great location. Great price. Every employee wore a mask. Internet kept logging off but was easy to log back in. Close to restaurants, stores & Fishermen’s wharf. Easy checkin & easy checkout. Had option to have room service or not.

There is no 2nd floor in this Super 8 motel. As far as canceling your reservation, I imagine it would depend how you make your reservation. You would have to cancel through the website you used to reserve or call the hotel directly.
There are more places to choose from in the Monterey area.
