We stayed for one night during a road trip through California. We had a 3-person room which was smart and clean. It had a decent hot shower, microwave, fridge and big comfy beds. We had patio doors opening out into their pool (which we sadly didn't have time to use). We enjoyed our stay and had no problems at all. Most of all we had a lovely host, Erika, manning the front desk when we checked-in and checked-out. She was genuinely warm, friendly and helpful, giving us tips on going into Monterey and allowing us to store our cases for a short time. There was a reasonable grab-and-go breakfast available. There's also a decent restaurant - Del Monte Grill - right next door where we had a nice meal. I'd be happy to come back here again.

Worst Service EVER... I was "late" checking because I was working (9pm). The front desk person called my office manager(she made the reservation) 3 times asking if I was checking in? Front desk person saying "You aren't getting a refund, I'm charging you for the night." When I did get there the Front desk person was flat out rude! She cut me off Twice when I was asking a simple questions, Acted like I had asked her to kill her first born child when I asked to be on the second floor. I noticed a sign that said "Due to a Nation wide Labor shortage, Rooms will only be cleaned by request" All I could think of was "Due to us not pay a living wage, no one wants to work HERE" Laundry was $3 to wash and $3 to dry... except that it took 2 dry cycles so $9. I've had toilet paper thicker than the towel. The fridge was turned "off" not down OFF.

This has to be one of the worst hotels/motels I have ever visited! I honestly don’t even know where to begin, had so many issues. I thought because Wyndham owned it it couldn’t be that bad but it was worse then I thought it could have been. Pubic hair in and on the toilet/bathroom, hair in the beds, what looked like blood on bed sheets, mold on the windows and curtains and what looked like a bullet hole in the window and the window was being kept from falling apart with duct tape…no joke. The only positive was the front office staff were nice and accommodating and did refund me after being in the room for 5 minutes and decided we couldn’t stay here with our small children.

I was greeted by Ericka at the front desk ion my arrival. She had a great smile that fit her awesome personality and from that moment I knew my stay there would be great. She recoge restaurant attached to the hotel and I ate all of my meals there. All in all it’s a wonderful place to stay.

Decent hotel, room was a good size and had everything you expect. Hairdryer, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Bathroom could have done with a re-vamp but was clean and big enough. Wardrobe and vanity area and plefty of floor space. Our room was over the reception area (but no noise) and had a balcony but no view. The hotel has a gated pool but we didn't have time to make use of it. Breakfast was included although we only found out when we checked in, it was basic and not much choice but definately better than nothing. Parts of the hotel could do with an update, the hallway carpet was a bit tired and the decor in the breakfast room was dated. I would stay here again as the room was nice.

No Breakfast provided. There was when we booked and we weren't informed. Room was OK, but at the back of the hotel that was a little worrying at night. Nothing within walking distance and had to drive to downtown

Great hotel, lovely staff and nice room, breakfast was disappointing but we had stayed at the Anaheim travelodge prior to this hotel and they had much more of a breakfast then this hotel as it was only coffee and breakfast bars on offer.

Needed a "reasonable" room price and this location offered that. All my typical locations for Monterey/Pacific Grove were extremely high due to the Women's US Open which was being contested at Pebble Beach. Typical rates in the past were suddenly 40 to 59% higher! Tired looking hotel and rooms definitely could use an upgrade. Bed was so-so and room smell a bit musty. Traveling solo as a volunteer for the golf just needed a room with proximity to the golf course and a place to crash. Would I take my wife here for a get-way...No.
