Craftsman-style inspired guestrooms in warm, inviting earth tones to reflect Monterey’s relaxed and friendly style. Italian linens, luxurious bathrooms, mini refrigerators, complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, and a wealth of other thoughtful amenities create guest rooms that exceed expectations. Additional features include a walnut desk and ergonomic chair, a plush chaise lounge, and 32-inch flat-screen TV. Most rooms include fireplaces. Bistro Abrego serves an eye-opening breakfast menu and a locally inspired dinner menu, and there is a spacious heated swimming pool and hot tub to relax in.
I enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and the free glass of wine in the evening was a nice touch. The rooms were just decent though. Location is perfect, close to everywhere. Will definitely stay there again

Loved the location, which is very near everything. Moments from Del Monte Beach, Fisherman’s Wharf, and Cannery Row. Maybe 10 minutes to 17 Mile Drive gate. And close to Hwy 1 for heading any direction away from Monterey. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and stores not far for supplies. Room was very comfortable. We had a second floor corner room so two large windows made it feel larger. We didn’t use pool area but looked generally clean with a few leaves here and there. Felt very safe in this location and hotel. Very happy with our choice and would recommend you consider it.

Driving the PCH from Long Beach, to San Francisco with idea of driving till the sunset. Decided it was time to stop so glad we did. This hotel is beautiful! Upon Check-in we were upgraded to king with a fireplace absolutely beautiful with 2 complimentary glasses of wine! The breakfast buffet outstanding! Would definitely recommend!

What appears to be an old motel is upgraded to 21st-century standards. Large rooms with gas fireplaces and convenient parking. The bistro off the Lobby has a limited menu, but very good food. Staff is helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel. Good location. Clean room. Rooms need a better thermostat. You cannot turn off A/C unless you turn up heat. The room was very cold when we entered so we set the thermostat to 72 degrees. It turned a litter to warm so adjusted the temp to 70 degrees and the A/C started blasting and it faces the bed.

I’m not good at writing these reviews. But I’ll do my best. I was here visiting again Monterey and needed a central location for good locations. Ideally, more walking distance to my favorite bakery which is Paris bakery (6min walk) and I highly recommend it. Also if a fan of pizza, mountain mikes is across the street also. More or less 10min walk to fisherman’s wharf is always a win in my books too!! But anyway— the staff, top tier kindness and understanding. The breakfast brunch was a nice surprise of selection of food, hope to try the breakfast burrito one day. But the open face bagel egg sandwich was top tier too. I was close to the ice machine unfortunately— but surprisingly the sound didn’t affect for hearing it. So that was a major win in my books. Plenty of pillows…
