Clean, quiet and comfortable room. The location on the golf course was great. Very rare to have what amounts to a full size fitness center at a hotel. The equipment was clean and modern. Front counter staff was excellent. My housekeeper did not speak English but she did a great job pushing through that to make sure I had everything I needed. She impressed me so much that I went out of my way to pay her a complement to the folks at the front counter.

The staff was great, the restaurant and amenities were good as well. The hotel itsself is old and feels like it (except the lobby/restaurant). The location is convenient and safe. The bar is expensive but the restaruant was great!

January we attended a swing festival - monteray swing fest. this is the 3rd time for the fest but first time i stayed within the hotel. and i'd stay again. it was very comfy . love the mattress. VERY clean rooms which looked very fresh- nothing old. the staff are really nice, no long waits at reception. trout special in the restaurant was amazing. bring a cooler if you like to have drinks on hand in your room - the fridge is tiny. its a smaller property than i'd have imagined. it was rotten weather but the main restaurant reception area was well lit and welcoming so we didn't really notice the weather once we were inside - same for the rooms

Was conveniently located, very nice fire pit. Bar drinks were a little pricey. The pizza was bad but the awesome staff, Jennifer & Conrad, took great care of us & compensated us for the bad food. Not their fault, said they have had recent vender problems. Overall had a good experience here, would go back & stay at this location.

Overall the hotel did a very good job! The service staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the daily dinner special. We were disappointed the room lacked coffee when we checked in, but after that everything was great!

We were evacuated because of flooding. The Hyatt had a perfect setup for us and our dogs: a patio leading out to the dog park. They offered a discount because of the evacuation and waived the resort fee. They couldn’t have been nicer during our checking and stay. Highly recommend.

The Monterey Hyatt located in Monterey California is a very nice venue for conferences, family reunions, bridge, tournaments, etc. I would highly recommend this location and hotel. It is in good condition. The rooms are updated. The restaurant is a 3.5 out of five. I think they can improve on restaurant service to include less fancy options like sandwiches and hamburgers on their dinner menu.
