Not up to par for your usual Comfort Inn, but better than the average Motel 6. Staff was friendly and helpful, but facility needs some TLC. Some basic maintenance could be done. Tub dripped, toilet ran, light fixture over mirror was rusty. Fit and finish was not done well. The mirror is wedged behind the new backsplash and the transition from floor to tile is missing grout. The bathroom was hairy and the carpet not well Vacuumed. Bathroom vent fan needs a good dusting/cleaning. Refrigerator only seemed to have 3 feet. Room 321. Breakfast was average, at best. Cereal, breads and pastries, egg patties, Sausage patties, bacon, apple & orange juice, make your own waffles, apples, bananas, and oranges. Coffee, tea, & hot water. Only saw half and half for creamer and couldn't find the Margarine/butter. Also had hard boiled eggs and yogurts. Breakfast area only seats about 22, so if they have a full house, it will be extremely over crowded. Works for a one night stay with the family.

I stayed here for a week on business and was pretty happy with the accommodations. Plenty of parking. Nice and friendly front desk staff. Room were good size and clean. The water pressure on the shower was a little weak though. Hot Breakfast served daily. I I would recommend the place.

The hotel room was booked and reserved with a credit card by the company for which I work, still at my arrival at midnight they asked for a second credit card or cash payment. I argued not having a credit card and not seeing why was there needed an extra payment... They asked me to go to the casheer across the street to take out money from my card... at MIDNIGHT with all my luggages!!! Arriving in the room , aircon doesn't work propperly and the table is sticky. DO NOT RECOMMEND BY ALL MEANS THIS HOTEL!!

We decided to come to the area a night early from on planned arrival and get a hotel along the way. We decided on the Comfort Inn, in Marina. It looked nice, clean, a little pricey, but it was a holiday weekend. We checked in about 10pm - at 2:45AM we got a knock at the door - they said "housekeeping", when I peeked out the hole, a man was there - looked as tho he could have worked there. At this point I had no clue of the time, so I said we didn't need our room cleaned. He kept standing there and had an accent so I didn't really hear what he said next, so I just said No Thanks and watched him until he walked away. He continued down the hall - which I now know was the stairwell downstairs. Once I saw the time, I called the front desk where he just happen to be passing by, he told the worker he was there visiting a friend, they asked if I was expecting anyone and I said no. I hear her say "sir you need to leave, I saw you here last night too, I am calling the police" ... that really got my heart pumping even more than it was! The Police came in a matter of minutes, but seconds after my husband saw the man drive away in a white van. SCARY!!! I could not sleep ALL night. I don't usually stress over "what might have happened" but in this case that kept me up all night. Worried about what might have happened had I opened the door. If he hadn't announced he was housekeeping, I would have blown it off for the wrong room. I could not sleep wondering what he was there for ... was he going to rob us (which would have been useless as we had no cash or valuables), there to kidnap the girls or worst - who knows - but he obviously didn't work there and wasn't staying there. The lady at the front desk was quick to get the police there and the manager was accommodting the next morning, but SCARY someone can just walk in the hotel at this hour without a key ... for the safety of the guests and the worker who most likely was there alone. I for sure will rethink that security feature on my next hotel stay, wherever that may be!!! Aside from this ... the hotel was fine, clean, good location - breakfast was just basic. FYI - I later read in December a man was arrested for robbing someone here ... and he had also just robbed a truck driver nearby .. maybe in the WalMart parking lot across the street (?) - arrested with guns, drugs, etc. Security really needed here.

good 1-night quick hotel stay while passing through. Will definitely stay again if I have the chance. Comfortable bed. Nice morning breakfast. Not much to do in the area. Walmart nearby for all your needs.

This Comfort Inn is definitely acceptable for a short, practical stay. It's not quite a resort but it's a fine suburban hotel. The room was clean and the staff was definitely friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was pretty small and slightly cramped, but it was a free breakfast after all. This is not a ding on the hotel at all, but just a heads up for other LGBTQ+ travelers... we did get some stares/hostile looks at breakfast. I'm often in the area and never felt like anyone paid attention to us, but it was pretty obvious that other guests were watching us. Again, not the hotel's fault at all, but just a heads up.

Don't really have any complaints about our stay here - however nothing stood out as fantastic. Our room was fine, clean and tidy and had everything you'd expect from a hotel. Breakfast was hectic and there were not enough seats for everyone (us silly Brits didn't realise that it was Labor Day so the hotel was busier than usual), we struggled to get anything to eat. All in all, not a bad stay if you're passing, but there's not a lot around.

The comfort in was fine for the single night we had stayed. It was clean and quiet, but missed the mark on other details. Our room looked like it was mid repair, patching of walls in bathroom yet to be painted. Window was really tough to slide open, and although not a big deal at all, pictures bolted to the wall not even close to straight, (more funny that anything). The breakfast was not very good at all, even for continental breakfast standards, we actually decided to forgo breakfast after a few tastes of things. Staff was fine. Yet, it was fine for what it was. A single night along the coastal drive. Price was right and convenient location just off the highway.

We stayed for one night in our way from San Francisco to LA. Location ok, clean, reasonable nice for a good price... paper ceilings. You could hear perfectly the walk of the person on the floor above yours. Every step loud and clear. It seemed it was about to fall over you any minute. The person who was there woke up at 5.30 am , and walked until 7 am. The four of us were awake and couldn't sleep again. The price ended being to expensive for 5 hours of sleep

The walls are paper thin so you can hear the people talk in the next room. Did not experience that on last visit. The air conditioning was not working and they would not move us to another room as they indicated they were sold out however they could of moved us to another comfort inn hotel.
