Located in convenient downtown of Los Gatos, about 15 minutes from San Jose in Silicon Valley. You may walk to restaurants and shops just across the street. Over and above standard hotel services, you get free high speed internet, daily dining vouchers for 5 restaurants, athletic club, all free. We also have kitchenette and free overseas calls for extended-stay guests.
The hotel itself is very much no frills in terms of the extras, for example the reception is only manned until about 10pm and if you arrive after that you have to call them to come and check you in. Also, the "breakfast" was a selection of snack bars and fruit by reception. However the room itself was very nice and was styled in a much more contemporary vibe rather than the clean clinical look you get in chain hotels. Although it was fairly modern, it still could probably do with a refresh in places (bathroom was starting to wear away, aircon unit couldn't provide a consistent temperature). The room did have a full size fridge and microwave in, and there was a small selection of cutlery so I was able to buy some groceries to cover for the non-breakfast and general snacking. …

First time stay at Marylin and Joe's honeymoon spot. Stay here and you will know what I'm talking about. Quaint boutique hotel in the center of Los Gatos. Walk everywhere. great restaurants near by as well as shopping. Good hop off spot if you fly into San Jose for a trip down the coast.

It was my first night in the States and I could not have stayed anywhere better - the layout of the hotel is adorable - bungalow style accommodation centred around really beautiful and obviously well-loved and tended gardens. The room was great, really clean and comfortable, my treatment in reception on arrival was excellent - very friendly. The facilities were excellent - loved the in room coffee pod machine and the whole atmosphere was really special, it felt like a little secret gem, I shall definitely be returning.

We stayed 2 nights recently and loved it. Very clean, quaint, nice amenities. We were visiting Santa Cruz but all the rates there were unreasonable, so we booked this room and drove the 20 miles daily. It was well worth it. Only complaint I have is when the cleaning maid knocked on the door between 8 and 8:30, and she looked inconvenienced when I told her we would be gone within an hour. She never went back to prepare our room. Other than that, I look forward to staying here again in the future.

--Great little hotel on the edge of downtown -- walking distance to all of town, yet a bit off the beaten path so it is still quiet and peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. The patio is lovely --As an older woman traveling alone, I felt very safe here. --Rates a little cheaper than other hotels--it's an older hotel, but my room was updated and more than acceptable. --Small room but awesome shower and has everything you need: fast wi-fi, micro, fridge, closet --Snack-y things for breakfast (protein bar, e.g.)but great restaurants across the street and easily within walking distance --Beds are a bit soft

One can easily walk to any of the excellent Los Gatos downtown restaurants, although the very best LG restaurant, Nick's Next Door is indeed "next door". The Pastaria has take out just across the street, and ice cream cravings are also handled nearby. We have the small well equipped kitchenette w/ dishes, pots and pans, and used the patio BBQ on sunny days. They are very dog friendly and right next to the fabulous Los Gatos Creek walkway. They also provide free bicycles, and breakfast bars and fruits. The staff is very helpful, and the grounds are well a kept garden of exotic flowers and roses.

I needed a hotel for my 83 year old Aunt who was visiting. I wanted charm & a safe, quiet location but, was not able to spend much more than $125 with taxes. I did not think this was achievable in high end Los Gatos of all places! This was perfect, in my opinion. My Aunt is used to luxury so, tho she said her only requirements were 1) quiet 2) warm 3) safe and 4) clean, she was a little disappointed. Given her stated requirements were easily met by this cute place, she obviously wanted more than she stated. The place met her stated requirements with ease: 1) very quiet yet in a great downtown location where lots of cute restaurants and shops are an easy walk. 2) The Fujitsu heating unit on the wall worked quickly & quietly once I figured out the remote control for her. She…

This is a quaint place to stay. It is a great location in a very walkable community. The room was clean and homey. The garden and outdoor space is beautiful. Better for couples than a family. Marilyn Monroe stayed here several times.

Great place to stay, its an older place but I was surprised by how clean and nice our room was. The room had wood tile on the floor, the bathroom was in great shape, the bed was comfortable and the shower was huge. The place has a nice courtyard in the middle to hang out in when the weather is nice.

Have stayed here now for two 3-day trips in the last month working in the South Bay. Rooms are very good - clean, very quiet and comfortable. The rooms are a little small, but fine for 1 or 2 people. Bathrooms might stand a little updating, otherwise no complaints! Beautiful courtyard for relaxing after work, sharing a take-out meal or just having a quiet moment.
