The lady who checked is in was really, really nice, even choosing a room for us on the back half so we would have a quiet sleep. The motel is basic without a lot of amenities, but that is It was very clear in their description. It was immaculate. Everything was spotless. The only thing we missed was a plug outlet near the bed to use a CPAP for sleep apnea. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

We stopped there on a road trip to California. The motel had clean rooms (and bathrooms) for a good rate, and was a nice place to crash. There was a TV, which we never turned on. It was worth the money. AAA discount helped.

We stumbled across this motel while looking for another one (which was asking for $20 more) I'm glad we stayed at this one instead. You could tell the owners take a lot of care in the details & maintenence of the property and they are very friendly. I really liked the courtyard and would stay here again if we're ever in the area. :)

I stayed here on my way through California. The room was good. The AC worked well on a 100 degree day. The room was clean. The shower had good pressure (it was a bit small, but I’m traveling solo so it’s fine). The bed was large and comfortable. The tv and internet worked fine. If you’re just passing through and not trying to find a hotel that is built for a family vacation stay, I suggest this place as the price is a far better deal than expected for the room I got.

My wife, baby, and I stopped at this hotel on our return home. The lady who checked me in was super friendly and made sure we were in a section of the hotel that was quiet and not surrounded by a ton of people. I had an excellent dialog about various topics with her and she was truly genuine. We would definitely stay here if ever we come out to this area again!

I've been staying at Maple Inn for the past 3 years or so and I've always had excellent service and an affordable stay. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and gives me a great rate every time I visit.

We stopped by Maple Inn our our way to Yosemite and it was an exceptional find. The lady at the front desk was very hospitable and gave us extra blankets upon request. The bathrooms looked newly renovated and we got a great combined family and AAA rate. We will be back for sure!

The Maple Inn was a wonderful stop on our way down to Southern California. I had read the other reviews of hotel/motels in the Los Banos area and decided to try this one. Wow, what a great choice. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice also. They also had wifi that was great for checking your email and things like that. Don't expect to watch internet movies though, the wifi is fast - but not that fast! The price was good, too. Traffic on the road was very busy, but the room was quiet - a plus when you are tired and want a good night's sleep. All in all, I would highly recommend the Maple Inn. Looking forward to stopping back here next year!

We stayed here Monday night, November 27. The toilet needed several flushes to do its job. The bathtub and fixtures were rusty. The supplied soap was like rubber. The heater was very noisy. But there were two nice tables.

We left Motel 6 across town because it was dirty and overpriced for a cheap motel experience. We weren't looking for anything fancy, just something affordable and clean, so we came here just to sleep and move along and the receptionist/(owner?) assured us her rooms were "very clean". Didn't end up saving that much money over the overpriced Motel 6 since Maple charges extra to upgrade to their "Deluxe" rooms (which she claimed had new furniture), and a $10 fee for pets. Maybe they give pet owners the old dirty rooms, but this was not a clean motel. Sheets seemed clean but that was it. All kinds of hairs in blankets. Streaks of something along the walls- there were even long dark hairs stuck into the paint in 2 places on the walls! Dirty. Carpets were stained and musty smelling with crumbs and dirt along the baseboards.. Seemed it hadn't been vacuumed. And the heat/ air unit in the wall sounds like a war going on and off all night. We turned it off and dealt with the cold rather than keep waking up to it. After the Motel 6 experience we were too tired to complain and just wanted to sleep and get out of there. Had it been earlier we would have left. I'm not sure if there are any decent motels in Los Banos but I would pass this one on by...
