Staff wasnt helpful or very nice. Didnt explain anything during the check-in process - like why are you taking my credit card? I arrived late in the evening due to delayed flight, and kindly asked about places to eat nearby that were open. He wouldnt answer, instead he cut me off twice and asked me to go up to my room. Not a nice proces and definitely didn’t feel welcome.
Room was dirty and smelly. Bed was rusty and unstable and squeky even by bumping into it. Lamp didnt work. Curtains were ripped. Chairs were stained. Wi-Fi in the room was unstable. Shower full of limescale. A/C old and extremely noisy. Same with the fridge. The drink automat in the ‘lobby’ had sold out (for an entire week…) and the “Complimentary breakfast” offered only bread with jam, juice and coffee.
Area is FULL of hobos and feels pretty unsafe at night. I thought it was gonna be central and good, but I didn’t even wanna leave the hotel after dark because I didn’t wanna walk around alone in the area.
On night number two I was introduced to the club downstairs, by the noise. Most ridiculous thing is that the price to stay here during weekends are even higher.
Find somewhere else to stay if it’s more than one night.
On Friday, Feb 23 I asked a person at reception (photo in attachment) if I may have a later check out time next day. Due to a glass barrier at reception, I couldn't hear his reply and asked him to repeat the answer.
After that he yelled at me "Do you know English?!" while beating on the side of his head (assuming I am stupid).
I would like to let you know that that kind of behavior is extremely rude and unprofessional as for hospitality industry.
It would be great if this person apologized.
No matter what I said, he just said "Speak English, I don't understand" and stared at his cell phone without doing anything.
I've been traveling abroad for decades and can speak English, but this guy doesn't seem to want to do anything even though he understands English, so I can't call him a front desk staff.
There were countless hairs on the floor, the cleaning was not good, the faucet in the bathroom was broken, and the water overflowed and it was soaking uncomfortable. There was no liquid body soap, and it was my first experience of soap to wash my hands.
Although breakfast was included, it was only cookies and was poor. The staff only went into the private room and the guests didn't have a chair (like a visiting room in a prison). The front desk didn't even turn on the lights in the dining room even though there were nasty guests.
This is the first time I've had such a shabby and unpleasant experience. It's the worst pig box. I will spread the word about it on Agoda and others.

The rooms are very clean and the towels fluffy.
Beds are comfortable. Coffee and refrigerator in the room, but no microwave.
You are invited to use the microwave in the breakfast area, but very inconvenient.
The free breakfast is typical of many, starch only (bread and pastries) no protein.
The staff is always courteous and helpful, and when I asked the maid for an extra coffee, she happily gave me two!
The first two times I stayed there there was a large homeless encampment across the street at the WSS shoe store.
When I stayed here last week, the homeless camp was gone and a fence had been put up to keep them out.
The neighborhood is slowly gentrifying.
Leo's Tacos across the street is always busy.
Stop there for a taco and you will see why.
Visit La it’s a great place but avoid this dump. Why it is rated 2 stars is beyond me. The wiring was dangerous too. I also didn’t get Wi-Fi making it difficult to order Uber etc.
Parking lot is a nightmare and lots of questionable people hanging around there.
Hallways on the way to room are all creaky.
Room, floors real creaky, room is dusty and doesn’t look like it has been vacuumed. I didn’t feel that sense of cleanliness.
Bathroom didn’t clean decent, was really unhappy about the stay. But was too tired from long trip to say anything.
"Don't stay here! Awful!! Parking is a nightmare. Scary location. Homeless people everywhere!! "Read full review
