Well, what can you say about an "inn" where the desk clerk greets you while behind a plexiglass protective barrier? The photos on the web site give the appearance of well lit, cheery rooms when, in fact, it is just the opposite. Here is my brief experience. I entered the run

Stayed for 3 nights, requested a first floor (ground floor for us Aussies) due to the number of bags we had. It was priceless, they had painted the sky and clouds with little birds on the ceiling, just like the ceilings in the casinos in Las Vegas. Rooms were large and clean.

The only bad thing about the hotel is the exterior, when you arrive it doesn't look great, the reception has to much security that makes you feel insecure. But the room changed our perceptive of the hotel, room was clean, spacious with a lot of amenities.

For hotels in Los Angeles this is probably the best you're going to get for about under 200 a night. No elevator, parking is tight but you can park anywhere, normal motel. The inside is very nice for the price. The bed was comfy. Great cable channels. Couple of things the

We stayed at the Regency Inn in Eagle Rock for four nights last week. We had three separate rooms. I have stayed here before and the hotel did not disappoint this time either. The location is great for sightseeing. There are several restaurants within walking distance, including

From Eaglerock you are very close to universal studios and away from most traffic. Inglewood is a little further SW and can take from 15 minutes to an hour from Eaglerock depending on traffic. Alternately Hollywood around Highland to Vermont area is good but more local traffic. Don’t recommend staying in Inglewood area ! Burbank is also good alternative or near Universal by 101 freeway. Btw, I live and work in these hotels daily.

It’s north of the main traffic, timing is everything. Depending on when you go it could be as little as 15 minutes or as much as an hour which is typical LA traffic patterns. It’s close to the 2 and 101, Universal is off the 101.

Hello can anyone tell me how far is this hotel from the staples center?
It can be as much as an hour depending on time of day or night. This property and area is much nicer and safer than the properties around the Westlake Wilshire area and far less expensive. A dump (if you can get it) around Staples is around $175 to $250 and I wouldn’t recommend walking to Staples Center just Uber or Lyft if you do stay close. I’m in LA 3 days a week and know the areas well day and night and go to the Staples Center regularly.

"I suggest if you don't have a lot of luggage the second and third floors might be better."
"No elevator so ask for a room on the 1st floor if you have issues with stairs."
"Top floor, altho no elevator it is worth the climb"
"Top floor means nobody will be walking on your ceiling."
"Third floor would be too many stairs for people with joint issues. Second floor was plenty for us already."
